Everything went very smoothly and our dining room looks beautiful. The painter was very careful with his painting (we have alot of molding) and he cleaned up completely. The project manager, Michele carefully checked the job and pointed out small spots to be corrected and they were fixed. I hadn't even noticed many of them. Great job.

They did an amazing job. Michelle was our project manager and she was excellent in keeping things on track. Work was professional from start to final cleanup!! Would highly recommend and cannot say enough about the benefit to having Michelle as our Project Manager.

Beware…project manager Michele rushes painting crew to finish in one day and results show. Argued to fix crooked lines along ceiling and she alleged it was caulking issue. Used wrong paint to correct ceiling line and would not fix awful results.

The entire crew did a wonderful in getting our entire house painted very quickly and ahead of time! They did an amazing job with getting the coats in, cutting and doing final touch up on the project. Highly recommended if you need some painting done!

Project went quickly and smoothly. Five Star is very organized from start to finish. Finished project looked great. The Five Star Forewoman and Techs were eager to please and provided some positive design input and some extra work that was much appreciated. Know in advance that these folks estimate assuming the use of Sherwin Williams paints. As with any paint project, test your new paint over the surface to be painted in advance to determine whether one coat is enough for desired coverage.

They did a fantastic job! They were courteous, efficient, and did a great job with the clean up afterwards. I would definitely use them again or recommend them to a friend.

Alexis came in everyday to check on progress. Addressed any and all questions we had. Overall this was a great experience with knowledgeable employees. They painted the whole house and made minor repairs in less than a week!!

Everything went perfect. I maybe could get a better price, but I was happy with their professionalism and responsiveness to not have to look elsewhere.

Five-star painting is just like their name..they deserve five star. It was great experience from the beginning. Price was great, Carlos did an excellent job of painting and cleaning afterwards. We are very happy with their job and workmanship.

Did a great job skim coating companion. The taping and ventilation off all the dust wasn’t that great.

Overall, they did a satisfactory job. It was very impressive that the project manager came every day to check on the crew and get status. The crew of 3 were very dedicated, hard workers. The biggest complaints that I have 1.) they did a very POOR job on my doors. The doors were painted RED. Any skilled painter should Know that it is recommended when using painting a white surface RED, you should prime with a light pink color so that you don’t have to do multiple coats. They estimated 2 and ended up doing 5 and charged an additional amount for the additional coat. I would highly recommend that 5 Star management re-train the estimators / painter leads on a.) Red Paint application and B.) How to paint and caulk doors (possibly spray paint versus by hand). Caulking work was messy. They used a roller on the flat surface of the doors and made a complete mess of them. One of the doors was brand new and now the surface is all bumpy. And streaks are showing through. The Project Manager attempted to make it right, but the doors were already messed up. Another coat would have made it worst. I would not allow this company to hand paint your doors and require they have them sprayed. Also, during the walk through, I had to point out many needed touch ups. I was very surprised by their reply (NO) when I asked whether the paint lead and/or PM went around to check prior to client having to point out all of the touch ups. I was planning to use 5 Star again to paint the cabinets in my office but I would hesitate at this time based on the paint job they did on the exterior doors.

This is our second engagement with Five Star. A few years back they painted our exterior and did a great job. This time around we had some cracks repaired, tape, mud and texture, for some settling that was resolved. I'm amazed at how efficient 1 person can be doing the sheet rock repair and to me a large paint job in a single day. We are extremely pleased with the work, scheduling the proposal, the actual day of work.

The project took over twice as long as originally estimated, probably because they brought in painters that didn't cover any of the floors and some of our (already painted) walls while painting the ceiling. Additionally, since we have just purchased the home and are finding out that there are septic issues, we made a point of asking that the crew use the restrooms at one of the many nearby restaurants (which was ignored and our septic backed up because of it, leaving someone else's feces sitting in my master bathroom). The crew they brought in to replace them then took the weekend off after we were promised they'd be working through the weekend to compensate for the delays caused by the mistakes of the original crew. The start of the week began much the same until I called and complained for the nth time about the lackluster performance. Ultimately, we told their team to stay out of our house and we would finish doing the touch-ups ourselves because we actually wanted to live in our new home in the next month (and Geovany kept removing our markers for touch-ups, claiming he had painted each spot when it was obvious they hadn't been). Ultimately, I'm torn between whether it's more shameful I essentially had to be the project manager for the job since it seemed no one else wanted to do it and or that the job was done so poorly my wife and I decided we would just finish it ourselves (which makes me question why we hired their company in the first place?).

It went great. Dustin, Rafael, Josh and Herman did awesome from providing the initial quote, to managing the job, and executing with very high quality. They pay attention to detail and hold themselves accountable to ensure you're satisfied. I truly couldn't have asked for a better partner to get my house ready to move in. They alao have strong values as a company of integrity from the owner to each associate. I highly, highly recommended.

They painted the paneling in our living room, kitchen and bathroom. It looks AMAZING!!!!!!! We are extremely pleased.
