I love my new master bedroom. We asked for a base color as well and a feature wall and it turned out looking really nice. We have white carpet in our room and the guys were careful to lay down plenty of plastic and take every precaution to protect the floor.

Showed up on date scheduled, cleaned and repaired all bad wood and painted exterior of newly purchased house. Looks great so I hired them to do the interior of house as well.

Due to foundation work, cracks needed filled and rooms painted. This company damaged wood floors while they did their painting....They had to be brought back 3 times to do the job right. It was very disturbing. Huge humps in the wall where the cracks were filled, very poor job of taping and bedding. Like I said, had to have them come back 3 times before an acceptable job was done. The damage done to the floors was from ladders digging into the wood floors.

Stacy contacted me and scheduled my appointment. Painter showed up promptly that scheduled morning. Sanded and stained my front door. Came back the next day to varnish the door to seal and protect. Easy to work with; no problems. Polite and fast. Family operated business with a great reputation. My front door looks 100x better and I'm 100x happier because I didn't have to do anything!

Five Star was able to schedule within the week. Cracks in walls were repaired and retextured to a like new condition. No one would ever know they were there. Whole interior was finished quickly and professionally. They are now my go to painters for all my rental properties and my own residence.

Painters were on the job within 48 hrs after quote was accepted and work completed quickly. The house looks so much better and more open with the new colors. Water damage and other repairs were restored to a like new condition. Will use again on other propeties that I own.

5 star was amazing. They did an a wonderful job. My dog had made a hole in the drywall. They fixed the hole, retextured and matched the paint so well that you can't even see where it was. Same with my office. Fixed the holes and matched everything to make it look like nothing happened The next thing they completed was the bathroom. The previous owner had painted over wallpaper. 5 star Painting came in and removed the old peeling areas, retextured the entire room, and painted. The room looks fantastic. My Front door also looks amazing. I love it. They arrived only 3 days after I called them. The estimate was the actual amount I paid (something that I find refreshing). On the day of the job they came on time (actually 5 mins early), and finished the job earlier than they had expected. They completed all of the work in 1 work day. The workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely be having them come back and do more of my house. They are an excellent company, and are well priced.

FIVE STARS FOR FIVE STAR PAINTING!!!!!! We have a huge front door. It's over-sized and requires a particular kind of paint, plus I wasn't sure how to do it myself, and finding the time was going to be a problem, etc. etc. It was obvious that someone had tried previously to do it themselves and it looked as though it had multiple coats of paint. Enter Five Star Painting. These guys are AWESOME!!! We had spots on our door that were peeling, and the paint was really thick; to the point that I thought that I was going to have to sand the door or fill in the holes with something. The outside of the door was pretty weather warn too. Five Star Painting was here, finished, cleaned up and gone before I even knew they were here! Our front door looks AMAZING!! It literally looks like it came straight from the manufacturer. They are the easiest company I have ever worked with, in any industry.

I have used Five Star before and I knew what to expect. They arrived right on time and started immediately. They removed curtains and blinds, covered all of the furniture and got right to work. The room and door look amazing and it is amazing how fast it goes. Very happy.

Pleasant to speak with, came out to house quickly to quote and once I called to move forward they were able to start the very next day. Painters arrived on time, extremely nice, they were careful and efficient. Very happy and will use in future.

Friendly and polite staff. The quote was low pressure; all work to be performed was explained clearly. The project manager showed up at the appointed time, reviewed again exactly what they were going to do, discussed color selections and shared recommendations. The crew worked efficiently, were experienced and genuinely interested in doing quality work. I watched them. They cleaned up each day. The project manager monitored the work throughout the job and met with me at the end to make sure I was fully satisfied. They did a great job.....and you can't believe how nice the front door looks now. My painting career is over. I'll definitely let Five Star handle it from now on.

We hired Five Star Painting to repaint our house before moving in. Stephanie was very helpful and very knowledgeable. We got the work estimates at the time of meeting with her. I liked that how responsiveness Five Star Painting is. The project manager was very nice and professional. We didn't realize that there is a free one hour consultation prior to the paint job. It was in a contract, but we didn't read it. However, we wanted to re-paint the house to the neutral color to match with the rest of the house, so it wasn't a big deal for us that we didn't take an advantage of that. What I was merely disappointed was the work done on the formal dining. We paid extra to get the formal dining to have a hand trowel texture to the walls. We showed the contractor a picture of the texture that we wanted. However, the texture was not anywhere close to what we asked. The texture they've done was so light that you cannot tell if there's any handtrowel textures done to the wall. I did point that out to the contractor and the project manager, but I didn't really push for any resolution because the wall is been done and painted already. Overall, the repaint job was decent. They were all very professional and completed the job on time.

Within the first week of putting the house on the market to sell, we began receiving consistent feedback on the dingy ceilings in several rooms and the dark atmosphere in the main family room that has floor to ceiling paneling stained in golden mahogany. Mike Christensen was able to come over quickly and walk through the rooms to provide a very reasonable cost estimate. Also, his crews were able to start the work immediately with a time estimate of two days max. This was critical to us as we needed to pull the house from any showings during the painting process. I appreciated that they used Sherwin Williams paint which I've found to be the best quality but removed the charge as part of the discount for being an Angie's List member. With new carpeting installed throughout the house, we were especially pleased with all of the protective care the crew took to cover everything. During the work, I received updates on status and clarifying questions through text which was very convenient for me as I couldn't be onsite and work. My final walk through before the crew left did not reveal anything missed. Everything went very smoothly and I am calling Five Star Painting back this week to estimate the cost of painting out kitchen cabinets and some paneling in rooms on the bottom half of the walls.

Lary came out to do the estimate within a few days of my initial phone call. He was professional, friendly and got down to business. He told me what my options were and gave me a very fair estimate, broken down into parts so I didn't have to do it all at once. The painters arrived 15 minutes early and waited in the car until their appointment time. The two of them came in with another woman, Gema, who was there for about half an hour. She did a walk through and reviewed the estimate and the work to be done so that everyone was on the same page. There was a little confusion about the estimate, but Lary called me right away and cleared it up. The painters were clean cut and professional. The worked quickly and quietly until the job was done. We did two more walk-throughs when Gema returned - one for the interior and one for the exterior part. They answered any questions and touched up any part that I thought needed it. The only complaint I could have would be that they left big paint chips on my roof, driveway and yard from the power wash. Nothing a good rain won't take care of, but still, this is TX and that may be a while. Maybe this is standard practice (I've always painted my own houses, so I don't know), but what a sweet touch if it had all been swept up in the end. Overall, I was a very happy customer from start to finish.

THESE GUYS WERE PHENOMENAL!!! We just moved into a newly built home, and every single wall was the same color. We wanted to repaint several rooms to break up the monotony of the same color everywhere. We had a paint color counselor suggest colors to us and then we called Five Star for an estimate, based on the great reviews they had on Angie's List. Their estimator, Josh, showed up within a day, had a computer with a program that quickly allowed him to provide an estimate that even was better than if we used the 15% Angie's list coupon, because of a special he was running at the time. They sent a painting team to start within 4 days and they were fantastic! They showed up on time, worked long days, finished the job in 2 days, including moving all the furniture, then putting it back in place after the paint dried. They used quality Sherwin Williams paint, protected the floors and furnishings, didn't spill a drop anywhere, and cleaned up afterwards!! The 2 painters were personable, dedicated to quality, cooperative and eager to do exactly what we wanted done and very good at the job. Some of the furniture pieces they moved were VERY heavy and others were very delicate, with glass shelving, etc. They moved it all carefully and then put it back where it came from with zero problems. In one room the painters were dissatisfied with the appearance and went out to the paint store and got another gallon and repainted the entire room with a second coat at no additional charge!! They made the call without any prompting from use! Is that amazing or what??? All in all, i would have to say this was the best interior painting company I have had in nearly 50 years of house owning experience! These guys were fun, cooperative, professional, and the results were absolutely perfect. This included a very very difficult arch around our dining room that they had to tape to provide a steady curved finish line for the paint. Perfectly done! I would highly recommend them to anyone and we will be using them again in the future!

It's a family-owned business and the owner comes within like a day or two if you put in a request. They're pretty quick and he's got a nice system and he can measure really quick, put it in and get you the price in like 15 minutes. They come up quick, give a quick estimate and it's accurate and they're all really nice. I couldnt' decide on colors so his daughter actually scheduled an appointment to come out to the house and helped me with picking out paint colors.

Quote went well, was reasonable. Painter had a flat tire so work started late but he brought another painter and worked late to make up for the delay. We had several cracks from small to large in multiple rooms from our foundation shifting and repairs. Cracks were repaired well and texture matched well. Can't tell anymore that there were cracks. Paint looks good. Worked quietly and cleaned up. Will use again if we need more painting.

All went well. We intende to have them paint the balance of our home's interior, and will be getting a quote for the exterior as well.

Getting the free estimate was easy and quick. They were professional with a laser measurer which made the estimate process simple. Painters arrived on time and was very friendly and helpful. They did a good job painting. There are some areas where it looked liked they rushed and didn't do as a good job as they did at the beginning (like not taking electrical outlet covers in all the rooms). I have been finding paint splatter on my floors and counters, but it is easy to clean up. I got a great deal with free paint and supplies.

My wife met with the production supervisor, Miguel, at our new house so that they could discuss all aspects of the work to be done. At that time she asked that no one go into the garage because the floor had a wet coat of epoxy on it and should we move anything else. He assured her that they would stay away from the garage and that anything that was in the house was fine where it was and it would be covered with plastic. That evening I went over to the house to find some of our things out in the front yard in the rain. I called my wife and she called the supervisor, Miguel, and he told her it wouldn't happen again. The next day my wife went over and found that the crew had gone out in the garage and put most of our things in the garage, the rest went outside on the back patio in the rain. Unfortunately we did not discover those items in plastic bins, without lids, until the next day when everything was soaking wet and sitting in water. Almost all of the mostly empty paint cans that had been in the laundry room were out there stacked neatly to the side, two of the cans were stacked upside down and had leaked onto the concrete patio. Miguel said 'no problem we will pressure wash it off', that did not happen, it was left there. The crew covered everything in plastic but still managed to get varying amounts of texture or paint on every single light fixture, the freshly painted walls & doors, the freshly cleaned cabinets and in one case actually painted one of the light bulbs in the master closet. None of which was cleaned up. During the second final walk-thru I pointed out several problems I had including the lack of paint in the corners in multiple rooms and the fact that the paint on the ceiling in three rooms did not go all the way to the wall and in two others actually went down onto the wall covering the freshly painted colors that my wife and daughter had so painstakingly applied. He asked for and got the colors for each room so the crew could touch up the spots that needed it. My wife and adult daughter did the final walk-thru without me, as I had to work, with my wife actually telling Miguel at one point very early in to 'just be quiet and not talk because she was tired of listening to his constant excuses for the quality of work' at that point Miguel actually told her 'she was lucky because the crew did not damage the house as they have many instances where that happens'. Really!! She paid him and he left, my wife and daughter were not far behind. The next day when my wife went back to the house with boxes of kitchen stuff she found that handfuls of popcorn texture had been thrown into every single kitchen cabinet and also the bathroom cabinets including the medicine cabinets. I called Mr Christensen to inform him of the issues of unprofessionalism with his crew and their supervisor. He was apologetic but offered no solutions and instead told me that Miguel was not an actual crew supervisor but a middleman between the crew and the customer in case there were any problems. He asked if the problems that I brought up to Miguel were handled to which I replied yes, but they should never have happened. Mr Christensen let me know that he appreciated hearing feedback from his customers whether it was good or bad and was sorry that there was a problem but again offered no solutions. No let me get hold of Miguel (which in hindsight probably would have been useless anyway), no let me send a cleaning crew, no let me pay for the new kitchen & bathroom light fixtures that his crew put out in rain or the fancy decals that my wife and daughter had purchased that were for my granddaughter & grandsons room. Nothing. I had heard many good things about Five Star Painting and being new to the area we were (we thought) careful about who we hired. Now when someone asks me about painters, I recommend that they find someone other than Five Star. Run away !!! The joyous occasion of moving into our new home has been tainted by a very bitter pill that will not washout anytime soon.

they were great! very responsive, did a wonderful job & were very professional. They were also about 1/2 the cost of the other 2 quotes I got. I am very pleased & would definitely use them again.

Five Star helped us put some color into our home. We had the traditional builders neutral colors, so we picked out colors we liked and they matched them to make our home more welcoming. The rooms now feel more like home, and we love how it turned out. We appreciated the attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to work with feedback during the process. I was very happy with the finished product. They were prompt, clean, and professional.

This painting company was excelllent. We had them paint the entire 1st and 2nd floor and media room of our brand new house. They showed up on time and worked very efficiently. We love the job they did. They were professional and very awesome. I would use them again in a heart beat. We will be having them back out when we are ready to do the bedrooms.
