Description of Work: Whole house exterior painting. In general the job was done well and timely. When the crew chief wanted payment afterwards, three minor areas needing finishing work were noted, and follow up promised. Still waiting, which has taken the edge of an otherwise favorable opinion.

Description of Work: Initially, the service was great. They were very helpful and gave us a price matching discount. We hired them to paint several rooms in our empty home prior to move in. The quality of the actual paint job (on the walls) was good but they left a HUGE mess in our brand new home. It was clear they did not use drop clothes and as a result, there was paint splatter on every surface in our house...granite, carpet, hard wood floors, cabinetry, etc. They clearly spilled paint on the wood paneling and hard wood floors and did not wipe it up properly resulting in permanent stains to the wood. They were fully aware that we needed the job complete by Thursday evening because the moving truck was arriving on Friday morning. When we called the owners on Friday morning to inform them that the job was not complete and that the house was in complete disrepair, they did not answer or return any of our frantic calls. When they did finally call us back, the conversation was extremely unprofessional and they refused to come and complete the job. It was only after several terse conversations that they agreed to come and finish the job (3 days after the fact). The owners of the company never once apologized for the mess and damage to our home. Again, the quality of the paint job on the walls was good but the customer service was absolutely awful. A simple apology and an offer to come help us clean up the mess when it was first realized would have prevented this entire situation.

Description of Work: Five Star painting did the exterior of our house. Mike came out and walked around the house, and was able to give us an estimate. We have a tudor, which consists of two different colors, which they matched perfectly. They power washed the exterior, then replaced the wood that needed replacing, plus they caulked all cracks. There were a couple of days when they didn't show until the afternoon, so the painting took a little longer than estimated. And it did rain one afternoon. Oskar always answered his phone, and answered any questions we had. All concerned were very respectful, polite and did the job really well.My husband and I would hire them again and recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Painted interior of home. 2700 sq ft home. All but three small rooms painted in less than two days. Wherein Williams low voc paint was used. Great product and amazing price for the work that was done. They moved all furniture and took down all draperies while painting and then put back once they were done. We were not inconvenienced at all. They were very flexible with our schedule and very professional. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future.
