Cisco Fencing

Description of Work: I can't recommend Cisco highly enough. They completed their work on time and on-budget. I've held off writing this review to see whether or not much settling/movement occurred. They use premium products, pay great attention to detail, and have a genuinely artistic flair to their work. They've stood behind their work, too - replacing wood that cracked as it weathered a bit. We have people ask about our fence with regularity. Angel and his crews are top notch.

Description of Work: The fence is better than we expected. The workmanship is excellent. The workers cleaned up each day. Very professional team.

Description of Work: Waste of time. I emailed a request for fence repairs due to wind damage from storm. Salesman showed up, asked what I wanted them to do for me and I explained I had wind damage from a recent storm and needed my fence repaired. His immediate response "We don't do repairs only new fences. Did you tell them (at Cisco) you wanted repairs?" The man immediately made me feel I was in the wrong for him coming out and wasting his time. Representative was rude and short with me and proceeded to tell me what was wrong with my fence. If this is the way they try to solicit new business, he needs to go back for some customer training. If the company does not do repairs to existing fences, it should be stated in the company information and/or their website. I am new to Angie’s List, but when I searched for “fence repairs” this company was at the top of the list – but they don’t do fence repairs!

Description of Work: They were very friendly, but were backpeddling as they were listed as a company who serviced my area and "wanted to take care of their Angie's list customers", but have never contacted me back about scheduling a time to come out to provide an estimate. I had talked to the owner "max" a couple of times and he is the one who never followed through.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate. The man said he would be out at 10:30 on the 7 th and was a no show without a call. I have still never heard back. Will now use our first estimate. Very disappointed because he was on Angies's list. He would have in all probability gotten the job because he was on Angie's list and the other company was not from the list.

Description of Work: Mr. Lopez came at the exact time agreed upon. After a thorough inspection of my existing fence he advised that he did not think the fence needed replacing at this time. He showed me one or two minor repairs that I could do myself. When I do need the fence replaced he will certainly be at the top of my list.

Description of Work: This company has the potential to be a great A company, however the one thing that kept them from being an A in my experience was the lack of punctuality and the poor communication from Mr. Francisco who is the gentleman that comes to give you your quote. Having said this, he does return your calls within a few hours most times. The problem was that we paid our money and were told a certain date approximately 3 weeks down the road. On agreed upon date, my wife took the day off and they never showed. I call the guy he gives me several excuses, and we agree on another date about a week or two down the road. On the night before the date, I call him this time, more excuses but this time he promises to come out the following week. Luckily they do show up on said day, but not until around noon. I put in a very angry call to Francisco, who appologized and let me know that his men were in route. Men got there and over the next three days did finish my project and did a beautiful job. I would indeed use this company again, but I would recommend being firm with Francisco regarding days and communication if they are unable to make the date. I understand with weather and unexpected delays, dates are missed, but he needs to learn to call his customers and keep them informed at least that is my personal expectation. So if you do use Cisco, make sure to spell out your own expectations. On a lighter note, I have had numerous compliments on my new fence, it is gorgeous.

Description of Work: The problem is that he did not perform the service that he said he would do. I asked for 2 extra large commercial gates. He gave me a bid. I liked he proposed sales pitch & we agreed for him to do the job. Then I never saw him again, I had to constantly call, sometimes he would not even return my call so I would call again & it was the same old story of yes we would be there next week! Well here I am in March of 2010 with not gates & he still says the same thing. Either he cannot build gates as he said or he does not want my buisiness. I have done nothing but ask when he can come. These kind of contractors are bad business because if this is how they treat you before they do the work, imagine how they treat you after the work is done, their paid & a problem comes up. I wish he would have simply said I cannot do large commercial gates! I am very disatisfied!
