Cisco Fencing

Cisco installed a new wood fence for me in 2014 and did a follow-up project in the Summer of 2019 with a metal fence including a puppy panel. The initial project was done well. The follow-up project was done poorly and Cisco Fences was unwilling to stand behind their work, despite repeated efforts by me to reach out to them by phone, text and email starting in February 2020 through May 2020. One of the metal fence gates doesn't properly open/close anymore so we are using a cinder block. The re-stain job on the original wood fence was a disaster. Stay away from them, they have many complaints against them at the BBB. Based on my multiple experiences with them, those complaints likely have merit. You have been warned.

All I can say is WOW!! When I tell you that they came and did great work. Even when we had a misunderstanding on what was supposed to be done, Cisco made sure correction was made without the extra charge. The guys doing the work was very nice and made sure what they was doing is what I wanted. I can't say enough about this company but, ALL HANDS DOWN!! My project was big and 90% of the work was completed in 3 days. Metal polls was placed 3ft deep. Oh yeah, and I also have a 10year warranty on the Fence! This company is great.

It went very well. The fence supplies, workers, etc. arrived early on the first day. Installation started. The workers stayed busy the whole time. They were very courteous if asked questions, etc. Once the fence was finished. Any extra materials and supplies were carried off. They left the yard very clean. The new fence looked great. Have totally enjoyed having it.

Will not respond to warranty request to fix separation in fence. We paid Cisco Fencing over $10,000. Now Cisco Fencing will not respond to our warranty request to fix a separation in the fence they installed. Numerous times we have called and emailed pictures over the past year. We have left numerous voice messages as well as emailed pictures to ********* *****. The last time I spoke to ********* ***** was months ago and he promised to come look at the problem and fix it. He never came out and he no longer answers our calls/emails. He put us off for over a year because he said he was not paid. We got the City of Richardson to assist in getting a copy of the cleared check from the bank. We emailed the copy to ********* *****. HE WAS PAID APPROPRIATELY. ********* stated that he believes that one of his employees took the check and cashed it illegally. His company theft is NOT OUR PROBLEM. We told him he could ask the payer's bank to refund him for cashing a check without proper ID. I have started calling everyday now and have yet to get Cisco Fencing to answer.

Though they installed a beautiful fence from the viewer’s eyes, I have never been as frustrated with a service provider than I currently am with Cisco Fencing. I’ve been trying since March to get all repairs completed after several small glitches happened, and am now forced to have a two-toned entrance into my backyard because I had to install a doorstop myself to keep my gate from slamming stuck inside the fence. I’ve called office and cell phones, sent pictures, and explained what should be a simple issue, but they continue to ignore my requests. Please think twice about how you do business with this company- and if you do, make sure not to make the final payment until you know you have a product truly worth the 8K you may pay.

Company does not answer phone calls during business hours and did not ever return my voicemail either. Tough to run a business when you aren't connecting with potential customers!

Old fence was falling apart and had a new cedar board on board fence installed. They were very responsive. Showed up when they said they would. Very pleased with the fence. It was built really well. Very pleased with the results.

The total job was a complete success, far exceeded all expectations. From the initial contact through completion Francisco, the owner was involved and communicated with me and answered all my questions, Since I have a pool, he suggested the pre-stained cedar (cost was same as unstained) which was great. His crews were all very professional and hard workers, the only delays were due to weather. His field supervisor Chris stopped by and checked on status of work and checked in with me daily. I began our search for a fencing contractor with these two considerations in mind: quality product and quality workmanship I requested bids from five different fencing contractors. One of the contractors had built two of our neighbor’s fences; so, we saved them for last as we were somewhat familiar with their work. The first four contractors seemed reputable and competitively priced. However, I found myself having to negotiate add-ons, and questioning their construction procedures. I then called Cisco Fences Inc.; the company that constructed our neighbors’ fences. Francisco Lopez, the owner of Cisco Fences, came out to measure the area and provide an estimate. I explained that I wanted a cedar, board on board, 8’ high fence with a top cap. I was very impressed with Francisco’s knowledge. He thoroughly explained every aspect of what their construction entailed. His quote was in line with the quotes I had received from the other companies. He then asked how many gates we wanted, if we wanted one of the headers and decorative gate hardware – all of which can be seen on their website – all of which also was part of his initial quote. What further impressed me is the scrolled headers and wrought-iron window inserts, which are depicted on their web site. The headers are hand cut from dimensional cedar board lumber and fitted on-site. All posts were set 6ft or less on center, hand dug and sunk 3ft then supported with site-mixed concrete (other contractors are known to use “quick set” concrete which is not as solid). He then said that he would take care of the city inspection and, as I have a swimming pool, erect temporary protective fencing while the concrete was setting up. By the time he was finished, I had no further questions – he had thoroughly covered everything. A testament to their quality control was shown as, at the end of each day, either Francisco’s project manager or one of his foremen came out to check on the progress and make sure the work was up to par. After the fence was erected and acclimated for several weeks, they came back out and inspected each board and replaced several boards that were not up to their quality standards. Then they stained the fence. We were so impressed with their workmanship and professional manner that we contracted them to build a stone retaining wall on the front corner of our property as we had erosion which needed to be mitigated. We also had a stone border built along the front flower beds; all of which had a base of rebar set into concrete – a very solid solution. Additionally, we had our front entry as well as our back porch paved with flagstone; which they hand selected, so the color would complement the brick on our house. All of which was cut and fitted on-site. Obviously, I highly recommend Cisco Fences for their skilled and excellent workmanship. Plano. TX

It took a few days but the fence will survive 60 mph winds and it was water proofed and stained. I received a 10 year warranty so any problems and I can get help.

Beautiful work. Professional responses by phone. This company put in my fence 10 years ago and 2 friends/neighbors followed suit because of how beautiful the fence looked. I will continue to use this company and hope to have a patio cover made in the future.

I dealt directly with Francisco. From the quote to the finished product there was professional courtesy all the way. He even came to my house on the 4th of july to get the ball rolling on the project taking time out of an off day with his family, to accommodate my schedule. The craftsmanship is top of the line front and back, and the gates are awesome custom crafted peices. Level from the front left to the front right with no steps, its beautiful. 5 days start to finish. There was at least 1 crew member that spoke english every day. The quote was a little higher than a few others but the quality makes the difference, no doubt this fence lasts for a very long time.

Our family took 3 bids from prominent fence builders in our area. I found Cisco to be comparable in price but superior in quality. Having studied our friends and neighbors fences, I am certain we have the best fence money can buy. Cisco used screws rather than nails ensuring that the fence will last for years to come. The employees who built our fence paid great attention to detail and built a fantastic product. I believe the pictures speak for themselves. The fence is amazing!! From top to bottom, every employee was interested in doing a great job in a timely manner. Francisco, Max, Tara and the entire team of tear down, build and stain employees should be proud of the product they produce. Cant say enough!!

New fence installed and looks really nice.

Outstanding quality. Above and beyond what we expected. Only suggestion is don’t have landscaping done before your fence installed. They kind of messed up the landscaping but unavoidable. Had landscaper come back and tidy up so all ended well. Highly recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat.

The entire process was amazing. The old fence was down in no time the area was completely cleaned up. There was a different crew for every process during the fence construction. The crew that installed the fence was amazing. Each worker had a job and did it perfectly. When it came time to do the gate one of the worketswho is a true artist , and craftsman, hand carved the decorations on the gate. We watched him carve every piece. They are awesome!! When it came time to stain the fence, the workers on that crew covered everything that would be harmed if the stain got on it.. that meant covering the pool the bushes , sidewalks, etc. As you can tell we are very happy with our Cisco fence!!

The team was very responsive through the sales process and until the deposit was paid. I was promised a 4-6 week window. it's been almost 3 months if multiple follow up and promises, and they stopped responding until I messaged them through Angie's list. I cannot comment on their product and service as I never got to see it. All I am left is with a promise to refund the deposit and 3 months of delay with my job and now back to square one.

The fence was amazing. Francisco was great and very responsive. His crew was wonderful and were able to get everything done in the time suggested. Beautiful finished product at a reasonable cost, better than other estimates. Work is guaranteed. Would definitely hire again.

Francisco was very responsive. He came to the house to perform an in person estimate. He brought a book of photos to demonstrate their work. Although they were busy, he did supply me with an estimated date for them to return to do the fence. This date was honored. The quality of their work is very professional. They use screws and not nails for the boards which help them stay secure longer. They also have a 10 year warranty. I was very impressed with their customer service and the quality of work performed. The crew, which is a regular, steady crew not day workers, cleaned up so well afterwards that I couldn't even tell they had been here except for the new fence. Francisco even followed up in person to review everything with me as a customer for my final approval and payment. I would definitely hire them again.
