"The technician pulled a roller off the door; then told me all the rollers were bad. He wanted to replace them for $150. I asked him if he checked the other rollers; he said no. The door is very easy to raise & lower by hand so I told him no. I asked him if he would check & lubricate the chain. He said that would damage the unit. The owners manual recommends checking the chain tension & adjusting it if needed. He did not look at it at all. He did not perform a safety check either."

Our company specializes in Garage doors out of track, garage door repair, cable off, broken springs and garage door opener repairs, Garage Door or Opener Replacements and Gate Opener repairs as well as installation. We repair all makes and model garage doors and garage door openers, including Genie, Liftmaster, Chamberlain, Sears, Linear, and Overhead door brands. We treat our customers like family and provide the type of quality garage door services we would want in our own homes.
"My garage door was not closing so I contacted American Home Shield AHS, they sent out Flash. I told the tech the garage door was not closing, and then I sprayed the sides with lubricant. After a few more attempts of closing the door, the motor started making humming sounds. The tech stated that there was an issue with my tension and that it would be $378 for maintenance. I disagreed with his assessment and wanted a second opinion so decided to contact Texas overhead door as they inspect for free if no work is needed. Texas overhead door said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my tension and that I needed a new garage door opener. He stated I could purchase one at Home Depot and then he would install it for $175. I later found out that Texas overhead door is Better Business Bureau accredited with an A+ rating. Flash has NO BBB accreditation. Disappointed that he was trying to sell me a service I didn't need it would not actually fix my problem. So glad I contacted another company."
