Description of Work: The cleaning service was adequate. I had no complaints. But I asked for my dog to be turned back in and my dog was left outside twice in the July heat. I stopped service promptly.

Description of Work: We used them once a month for about a year. They did a wonderful job in the beginning. The last three months we used them there were little details that were overlooked. I would call the owner to report these as asked. But after awhile, I got tired of having to call and the quality of the work continued to get less. We finally decided it wasn't worth the cost.

 + -1 moreI got them when I had the surgery and the knee problems. It is $65 an hour when they did that deep cleaning and they did three hours of work, and I don’t know they exactly three hours worth of work. They took their time and they were little slow to get the stuff done and it wasn’t as thorough as I thought it should have been or the deep cleaning. I think they cleaned the tub but not as well as they could have; it seemed like they did it too fast. Then two weeks later, they came, they regular, it was $120 for that and I don’t think it was worth the money because they just cleaned a tub and a couch, they missed one bathtub and I thought they could have done a little bit better job. I would still use them another two times and I probably will not use them after that. I think it could have been because of over scheduling, they were trying to get to as many people as they could in one day and they were here for maybe an hour and a half or maybe even shorter than that. They are okay with me telling them what to do, like I told them they probably need to concentrate a little more on the shower stall for example. I figure they should be doing it without me asking, like the sliding glass door, I should tell them ahead of time to make sure they get that done. So I feel like every time I have to tell them what to do rather than them doing it.
Description of Work: I used English Maids for deep cleaning. Right now, I am using them every two weeks for general housecleaning.

 + -1 moreTo say the least they do some things that needed to be done but the things that I explained to the young lady they wouldn't do. If she had told me that they wouldn't do the curtains then we could have not wasted each others time. They are very expensive $300 for 2 ladies to come for 3 - 4 hours to do their "top to bottom" cleaning. After that $135 for a couple of hours once a month. Needless to say they will not be coming to my mom's house.
Description of Work: I called English Maids to see if they would give my Mom and I an estimate. Since I live out of state and my mom is 82 I hate to spend all my time when I visit cleaning. I told the young lady that I was looking for someone to come in and do a top to bottom cleaning as my mom is not physically able. I needed curtains taken down, washed and put back up; vacuum under beds and anything else my mom wanted. They had someone in the area at the time and came by 1/2 hour after I called. Lady looked at the house and told my mom what they would and wouldn't do.

Description of Work: I had the English Maids clean for the first time in December and was so pleased with them that I have arranged to have them come every other week. They are prompt, thorough. very pleasant and I like them and look forward to having come. They do a beautiful job and I am lucky to have found them. They dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, clean the bathrooms and the kitchen, make the beds if I ask them to, empty the trash cans and do the hundred little things that make my house look, smell and feel finished. I couldn't be more pleased.

Description of Work: I had a deep clean of my entire home. Two English Maids came to my house and did the job. They were there for at least four hours. They swept, mopped ,dusted every knook and cranny in my house.

Description of Work: The cleaning ladies were always very nice and respectful, and the owners are easy to get in touch with, but overall, their service was not worth at all what they charged me. They charged me nearly $250 per month for a once-per-month 'deep cleaning,' and I only felt like they 'deep cleaned' like they were supposed to one time in the year that they cleaned my house. They were usually rushed to get to their next appointment, and oftentimes left things that should have been done during a 'deep-cleaning' - such as cleaning the baseboards, windowsills, and mopping the bathroom floors - undone. At one point I asked the owner if I could switch to a twice-per-month normal cleaning as opposed to the deep cleaning (which wasn't being done, anyway), and she told me that it would "cost the same because it would take the same amount of time." If I was really getting a deep-clean, isn't it logical that that would take longer than a normal clean? Overall, very unhappy with this service.
