Andy was a very pleasant and honorable man to work with.

Andy answered my call right away and made sure he knew the whole situation. He called to respond to some questions that I had, and then scheduled the appointment. He also told me that Jerry would be coming to do the work. |Jerry came out and unhooked the hardwired range and connected the new range through the same hardwiring. After the wiring was done a short time later, he tried to slide the range into place; but the opening was 1/2 inch too small. He said he would cut the piece out for me to make it fit. I had to call my neighbor for the saw, but they worked together to cut off the half inch and slide the new range in. i am so thankful he took the time to get the range in. The range slid in with no problems, he leveled it and it looks great. If had known the installation would have gone this smoothly, I would have called him originally and not wasted my time with the store's installation crew. I would definitely use them again.

The remodel is beautiful, and the drywall repair is perfect. We changed some colors after the project started, but Andy was accommodating and truly out to give us exactly what we wanted. The subs were all friendly and respectful of our home, and cleaned up their work area every day before leaving. Looking back, I would have delayed the remodel until AFTER Thanksgiving because it is hard to have a houseful of people and only one working bathroom! I will certainly use Mr. Perez in future projects.

I had found Andy under the Handymen section of Angie's list. He seems like a very nice guy and is very professional. He showed up on time. But there were a couple of problems with my experience. First, there is the fact that Andy is not really a handyman. He is more like a general contractor, and he subs projects out to workers he knows. Thus, his rates reflect having to pay both himself and the people he hires. Also, for that reason he seemed uninterested in doing little projects. I had Andy quote a bunch of different projects for me, but when I wanted to only proceed with one of them, I literally didn't hear back from him for 2 months. I had sent him a really nice emails saying the projects I wanted to do, and he just never responded. Then, out of the blue, 2 months later he emails me saying that he could do my project now. Whatever! So, if you've got a large project and aren't trying to squeeze every dollar out of your project, Andy might be your guy. But for smaller "handyman" stuff, I would definitely not recommend him.

Did a wonderful job and we will be using Andy Perez for future work.

We wanted to remodel our kitchen. We needed to have the back porch and an outside storage area be included in the new kitchen and dining room remodel. The remodel would require moving a load bearing wall. Other contractors wanted to add a beam below the ceiling in the dining area to account for the load bearing wall. That was unacceptable to us. When we called Andy, he was very prompt in coming out and looking at our project. For the first time we met we could tell this was a man that believed in customer satisfaction. After receiving all the estimates, we chose Pez Inc, not because of the price but because of the attitude of the contractor. We knew he would be easy to work with. Andy and his subcontractors exceeded our expectaions. We had a total removal of kitchen, dining, laundry room, storage room and back porch. A load bearing beam was installed in the attic, cement was poured on the porch and laundry room to level the floor with the rest of the rooms. We also added another entrance in the kitchen with a beautiful porch and poured a 12X16 back patio. Andy clearly explained that this was a big project and that it would take a couple of months. Unlike most remodels, we do not have any complaints only praise for the professionalism and quality of work performed. If we did have a concern with the remodel Andy resolved the problem immediately. We very very impressed with Andy because if his subs contractors work did not meet his expectations he would have them rework it before we had a chance to mention it. A note about his contractors: Phenomenal! From the cabinet maker, electrician, painters and carpenters they were just as professional and responsive as Andy. The communication with Andy during the remodel was fantastic. He is always accessible. I would highly recommend Pez inc. for any size project.

Andy always takes or responds quickly to calls. He comes when he says he is going to come. The job was started and finished as promised, which was 5 days or less. His bid was the lowest of the three bids that I received. The quality of the work was excellent and he promised to come back if we found any problem areas with the outside painting or repairs that were made prior to painting. I was pleased in every way.

The job became larger than estimated but that was unavoidable. Mr. Andy was very helpful in working with us to keep the cost as low as possible with the additional needs that were identified as he started the job. Water damaged studs had to be replaced and drywall had to be redone along with painting. Also Shower marble-like panels had to be remanufactured and replaced in one bath but we were able to re-use much of it with Andy's knowledge about the material was applied. We were very impressed with the honesty and special sensitivity shown for our concerns by this firm as they listened and worked hard to meet our expectations.

I live in Houston, and I belong to Angie's List. My 81 year old father and his 85 year old brother live together in Mart, TX. We often need help at their farmhouse. They had recently been falling when walking out of the house, so I needed to find someone in the Waco, TX, area who could help us. I added Waco to my Angie's List account and found Andy Perez at Pez, Inc. I contacted Andy, and he was very responsive to me, went out to the house to do a bid for the work, and then was in contact with me regarding approval for the work. I gave him dates when I could be there, and he worked around my schedule....even though my father asked me to come at a different date, and I couldn't be there for the work! To my surprise, the work was done very quickly, and when I went to see the final result, I couldn't believe it!! Andy had a ramp built with extremely sturdy materials, hand rails on both sides from not only the wood the ramp was built from, but strong pipe to hold on to as well. The floor of the ramp is painted with a non slip paint, and I really believe the house could fall down around them, and that ramp would still be standing!! I am extremely pleased with the work Andy provided...it is first class all the way!

We’re in a talk about a project, and it’s been really delightful so far. The communication with them was good.

They did a pretty good job. The price was good.

He came over yesterday to look over the things I needed to be repaired. He told me that when he gets home tonight he would email me a quote. I never received an email last night nor this morning. He also stated that he would text me today to make sure that I received the email that he would send. Still no text and no email. The job wasn't a large to do but you would think to have good customer service he would do what he said he would do. I wouldn't use his services again.

I was really sad this didn't work out, especially after reading all of the glowing reviews here on Angie's List. I take full responsibility for it getting off to a rocky start - I emailed Pez, Inc. requesting an estimate on our bathroom back in late-January. I heard back from Andy the next morning saying they could come out the next day! I neglected to confirm the appointment due to illness. At the beginning of the next week, I requested they come out that Thursday. They agreed. A misunderstanding occurred on our end and no one was there to meet with them. CR went out of his way and rescheduled with me the following day after I got off work. I was highly impressed. We were finally able to meet! Measurements were taken, drawings were made, discussions of plans were had. I even shot CR some samples of colors/materials I had chosen. This is where they began to drop the ball . . . Over a week passes with no estimate, no contact, no anything. Finally 11 days later, I get a text from CR requesting to come by with some samples the next day. I responded requesting an estimate beforehand so as not to waste neither his time nor mine if it wasn't going to be within my range. The following day he agreed to get some numbers to me, but would have to reschedule due to a medical issue with an employee. That was 8 days ago & still no numbers, no follow-up to reschedule, nothing. Yesterday, due to the lack of response, I was forced to decide to go another direction.

Andy Perez came out to give me an estimate on removing carpet that was installed over ceramic tile. Some of the tile had broken and came loose. I explained to him that I did not want to go to the expense of removing the ceramic tile. I just wanted to patch the broken tile areas and skim coat over the grouted areas. My den was originally an outdoor patio and the slab was extended and the room enclosed making it a 500sf den. Where the 2 slabs come together is where the tile was broken and Andy explained to me that as the ground shifted it could happen again. And I need to install a floating floor or carpet. A glue down or tile floor would eventually come loose again. I appreciated his honesty and time he took to explain the situation. I thought that for what he did...his fees were very reasonable. In fact...I was very impressed how much attention he gave to such a small project. I will use his services again when ever I can.

His name was Andy Reed. He did exactly the work that I had contracted him to do. They cleaned up very well. They did very good work. I would probably use them again.

Andy completed a number of repairs and remodel items to get my duplex ready for a pending sale. He took the list from the buyer's inspection report and made correction to the electrical, added new doors and a sundry of other small repairs. He is professional, timely and does an overall great job.

They came when they said they would and left when the said they would be through for the day. They worked very clean and always left the work site clean at the end of the day. The professionalism and quality they showed meant it was not necessary to be very involved once they new what I wanted and we came to a price. I have a list of projects and I will use them again. Very nice people to work with.

Everything was fine. He was timely and the results look great to us. I did have some cheaper quotes but I was not confident about the results. We might use him again in the future if needed.

tthe work was of true quality......there was no scam in running up the price or running up the clock or having to go other places on your dollar. He gives you a price and the workers do there very best. When each job is finished, a supervisor comes and inspects the work to make sure it is done to your satisfaction. For remodel and repair work you can't go wrong hiring Andy Perez

Mr. Perez is one of the most conscientiousness contractors I have every had the pleasure to work with and as we have remodel three houses in another city, I have a number to compare him with. He does everything he says he is going to do with the highest professionalism at a very fair price. I am confident enough in his integrity that I don't even keep up with his work until he is finishes and asks to be paid. He's a craftsman who delivers what he says in a very timely fashion for a fair price. I met him in Waco to show him what I needed and then meant his son after it was finished as he was out of town on another job, the pantry was perfect.

I loved these guys! This is a two brother company who can do everything from general construction such as house building to simple jobs such as carpet installation. They returned the initial call after several hours but both brothers work on site so only return calls during breaks. The younger brother came next day to measure house and provided estimate via email in less than 48 hours. We were on a tight time frame due to school starting and they were able to fit us into their schedule within 4 days of receiving the estimate. We included furniture moving in the estimate which was heaven-sent to me and my back. They had a crew who came in every day and the brothers supervised at all times. I was always given summaries at the end of each day as well as asked how late they crew could stay everyday. I allowed them to stay late and they stayed until 7:00pm all days except Friday. All the work was completed in 5 days. We were given the option of buying our own supplies (he provided list) or them buying all flooring and then adding surcharge. We opted to buy own flooring supplies and saved about $3500 from another estimate we received that did not included tiling office downstairs. We'd hire them again in a second!

It never Happened, never received a phone call back, from the very beginning.

It took longer to complete because of the family death, but they were great to work with, and communicated perfectly.
