TruGreen Lawn Care - 5415

So far I think it is working. They came when they told me they were going to come and they put a note in my door when they did the job. The scheduling was easy.

They came out and told me exactly what my yard needed. Went very well and will keep using them.

It went well, the technician showed up, is professional and courteous and does his job. The problem is with the call center not allowing him to give us a timeframe, which he is willing to do he says, but somehow, they call the night before each visit, tell us the day, but without a timeframe.

They charged $348.78 for eight applications and I believe it's a competitive price. The same specialist comes every week and he is very nice.

I always hear from provider before they come. After they come they leave a detailed notice of what they did. The lawn looks great.

They are an excellent service. I have a yearly contract with them. I get 8 treatments a year from them. I have been using them for 9 years. I would not trade them for anything. They have very high ratings. They are always on time and they will knock on the door to let me know they are here. They will come back within 48 hours if I need something and they will not charge me. They are very professional. I am very satisfied with them. They care about their customers. Their prices are very good compared to other people in this area. They have high ratings and I will continue to use them.

We've had their services for almost 4 years. We get a reminder call of when they will be out and they are always punctual (unless there is bad weather, of course). Our lawn looks great and we're very happy with their service. We will continue to use them and would recommend them to anyone.

We been using them for 10 years. I just simply them and I think they do a good job. With their help, our lawn is been looking good.

They make sure to leave a note or a sign so I know they were there. The price is competitive and the work is acceptable. They are better than their competitor that I used previously. I have a number to call if I have any questions or concerns. I am pleased with the service.

.We had to give guidance as the windand quot; tunnelsand quot; strangely thru our back yard. Some weed killer did some recoverable damage to some shrubbery. We also had to ask them to slow down as they were cutting the corners (of the yard) without spraying/fertilizing. They were very compliant with our wishes and instructions. We would use them again...still in contract.

This is the third year that I have used Tru Green. They do a great job! My yard looks better than it ever has before!

In April of 2013 I called TruGreen as my St. Augustine grass had a fungus and was dying. I bought a seasonal plan from them which included healthy lawn care along with tree and shrub care. I also needed some special treatments for the grass, trees and shrubs which included insect control. My lawn went from being brown and dying to one of the greenest and healthiest in our neighborhood. My original service request was answered the same day and a representative was sent out to do an analysis of my lawn. I was given options and different plan amounts to correct the problems. When service is due I get an advance phone call to let me know when someone will be out and what they will be doing. When the service people arrive they ring the doorbell to let me know they are here and they leave a report on what they did. They have all been friendly and professional. This is a great service and I would highly recommend this company. My contract can be cancelled at anytime, but I am so pleased with the results that I would never think of doing that. My neighbors have commented on how great our lawn looks and I always mention TruGreen. The results are worth the cost. This service has made all the difference! I contacted 4 different companies for estimates and analysis of our lawn problems. None of the other companies returned the calls.

The service was fine, but the call center was very hard to deal with. Everytime I would call they would put you on hold for a long time. then they would tell me I was scheduled for a certain date, and then when they wouldnt show up, I would call back and they said I wasnt on the schedule. I did this three times. They never showed up and I had to switch to a different company. This is not the local company's fault. the national call center never gave them a chance to get the work done.

For many years I used Trugreen when I lived in Plano. I was happy with the service. When I moved to Carrollton, I started the service there. After a while I became concerned about the chemicals that were used and my dogs being around them. At the time Trugreen did not have any organic alternatives so I changed the service to just the front yard. The back yard remained untreated. Some time goes by and the back yard looks great and the front yard looks bad. The St. Augustine grass is yellow in many places and appears to be dead in others. Bermuda, Dallas grass and other trash grasses have taken over where the St. Augustine grass was. I wanted to get someone out to evaluate the lawn and tell me what steps I needed to take to correct it. Over the span of about 3 months I called customer service 3 different times and spoke with 3 different people. A fourth time I got a salesman soliciting me for additional services and I complained to him about not being able to talk to someone. Each of the three conversations with customer service were professional and I believe they wanted to help me. Each time someone was scheduled to come out and each time no one showed up. The next to the last time I spoke to customer service, he promised someone would be out and that he (customer service) would call me the day after the service to insure that someone had been here. No one ever showed up and the customer service guy never called. After 4 tries to get someone to come out to look at my lawn, and three appointments that were never kept, I made one last call to customer service. The woman was very nice and professional as the others had been, but it didn't matter and I cancelled the service.

I had decided not to have anyone treat our lawn this year, mostly for budgetary reasons. When I spoke with Larry in the Plano office, he was very nice and told me he wanted to keep me as a customer and offered me a discounted price for the first four treatments. I then paid the agreed upon amount of the statement provided after the first treatment. About a month later, I received a call from the billing office saying I hadn't paid. 10 or 15 minutes of explanation cleared it up, or so I thought. A few weeks later, another call from the billing office. Same thing. Cleared up. Another lawn treatment. A correct statement (previously agreed upon price). Another call. Cleared up. Another treatment. Another correct statement paid. Two weeks later, I received another statement for what TruGreen apparently thought was the balance on the account. I called them. I was told the discount was only for the first treatment. I told them I would pay this balance but I was canceling the service. This review should be about the result. Unfortunately, despite Larry's best efforts, the company's red tape and lack of communication ensured they have lost a customer for good.

They were always very friendly and showed up. However, we had a major mix up with billing and service plans and I felt like they were always trying to just sell me more services. Their corporate office does not communicate with their local branch which was a major cause for the confusion. The local branch's customer service was great but we didn't see any improvement in our yard and I got tired of dealing with all of the it so we finally just cancelled.

Their service is excellent. They have great customer service and are very efficient.

We have faithfully used TruGreen Chemlawn for almost seven years and we have paid every bill in a timely fashion. Our lawn has gone from full and healthy to having lots of completely dead spots. I would estimate that half of our front yard is dead or weed filled. I expressed dissatisfaction numerous times to the various and quot;techniciansand quot; that come to do treatments. They always agreed that the lawn looked sorry but they did nothing extra ever, did not bring it to the attention of the company and simply continued dumping what seem to have been useless chemicals on our lawn undaunted. In my opinion, this is far from professional. I do want to point out, however, that the technicians were always polite. Finally, about six months ago we began trying to talk to a manager. We called the 800 number but never actually spoke with someone from the Plano store. We always requested that a supervisor or manager get in touch with us. We told them we were no longer paying for service until they made our lawn look like we have been using their company to treat it for almost 7 years! We NEVER got a call back. The last few months they have still had the audacity to come and and quot;treatand quot; our lawn and send us bills. I told the last two or three techs that we did not want to pay for any future service until we talked to a supervisor. I also requested that they convey our dissatisfaction with the service and the fact that we were not getting return calls; and that they request their boss call us. It NEVER happened. I called the company 3 more times. I finally got a call back from the local manager. He said he would come on Friday and look at the lawn but he seemed to already have basically written me off by saying the draught was damaging many lawns and it was probably our fault for not watering enough (those were not his words but that was the gist). We watered with automatic sprinklers as much as the city would allow and plenty of lawns in our neighborhood still look just fine. I asked him if I had to be home when he came but he said he would look at the lawn and call me. He did come on the day appointed. I was in the back of the house and by the time I got out front, he was already gone but I figured he would call me as he said he would. He NEVER DID! I called the company again at least a week later. I had to explain all this all over again to the person who answered my call and again requested that the local supervisor call me as he said he would do. To this day, 2 or 3 weeks later, I still have not heard a word. And they have had the nerve to send us three bills for a service I tried numerous times to refuse AND I recently also had a call from their collections department though I was told by both the local manager or supervisor and the person to whom I last spoke in Oklahoma that the charge would be removed from our account! The charge was finally removed were but not before I'd been billed two or three times and had a collection call. It is important to note that though I dialed the local office number the last 4 times I called, they apparently have it set up so that calls roll over to whatever office can pick up the call. One of the recent times I called the local number my call was answered in Houston and the last time it was picked-up in Oklahoma. I do not think I was ever successful in calling directly to the local office but everyone to whom I spoke assured me they would get my message to the local people. I do not take lightly giving someone a bad review but we have done our best to get some satisfaction from this company and have given them plenty of time and opportunity so now I am determined to complain about TruGreen Chemlawn in every forum I can possibly find. It has been at least 6 months since we started trying to pursue these issues and get our lawn to where it should be but we have been treated quite badly. I really think people should know what kind of business they have done with us! By all means, I recommend you stay away from this company! I hold the parent company equally responsible because I have called the 800 number at least as often as I have (nicely) complained to the techs and as I have called the local number. NOTE: Cost amount is a guess based on about $500/year.

I like the concept of this company, someone to take care of the Lawn, Trees and Shrubs. BUT the delivery is horrible. It seems that 95% of the companies effort is tied to its Sales force. They are quick to sign you up, but not able to answer any questions what their service actually (in details) contains). The service personal is rude (and made my wife uncomfortable). This company has the feel and delivery of a scam company. Great sales pitch, easy sign up by unknowledgeable and pushy sales people and very poor execution. Stay away.

TruGreen are pretty good. They were the one we actually call for the job other than anyone else because they always comes back, do the work and make sure their service is well serve. They answer questions.

TruGreen called before they came out which is good especially if you have pets. The price is proportionate to the work that they do. If I'm not satisfied they will come out as many times as it takes to get the job done. They are scheduled to come out eight times a year and if I need something in between those visits they come out for free.

They come out once a month or when we need them. They are very good about calling the day before the come out.

They have seven different kinds of treatments for the lawn. We had used them before years ago. We have a really nice yard and so we decided to go with them again. They always do a good job.

I am very happy with the service they provide. The price is reasonable, and the results are looking really good. I had my lawn resodded last fall (2010), and over the winter and early spring, the weeds had almost ruined it. I was a bit skeptical after the first one or two treatments because I still had crabgrass issues, but the gentleman who I spoke to on the phone told me that I started the cycle too late to really prevent crabgrass and that it wouldn't be until summer when they could effectively deliver a real anti-crabgrass treatment. As it turns out, they were right, and my lawn looks great now -- green and essentially weed-free. If you think they missed a certain area or there is another problem, give them a call and they will come back to reservice the area for free.

I've been using them for probably 10 years. They come out several times a year. They are punctual. I pay them every time they come out.
