Very bad - poor quality field personnel and no concern from main office.

Came home to find 100's of fertilizer pellets in the pool. It was not a windy day and the pool is not that close to the lawn. Pure carelessness or worse. This may result in my having to drain the pool or other expense to insure the pool doesn't turn green or we don't swim in nitrates and phosphates. I also spent 90 minutes trying to get as many pellets out as I could, but this is very difficult to do with standard pool equipment - they are very small and dissolve or smash easily. Called trugreen but they haven't got back to me. I've requested they pay for a pool vacuuming, (with a vacuum that doesn't run through the pool filters). but nothing.

I've been using them for years. I am satisfied. They do a good job and it's one less thing for me to have to do.

I don't live there anymore. I thought it was expensive because the first time they charged me a lot, like $200. I didn't have time to see if it worked because I left. I really don't know. It was a good service because we needed to get rid of the weeds and take control.

They refunded me my money and I quit using them after being a customer after 15 years.

They do a lot of work in this area. I give them all A's.

They were okay. I've already cancelled my service from them. It was on the pricey side, and they couldn't always answer questions to my satisfaction.

They do the service pretty well but there are some weeds sometimes. They can't reach 100% all the time but other than that, I have no complaints. You are paying for the service to avoid weeds on the lawn but I do see some.

We contracted True Green lawn services based on a salesman visit to our home. He offered there services to give us what he called the "Best looking yard around here". Well we wanted that and signed up. They came out and applied several different times because we were getting no results from the cost we spent. They said it would just take some time, but to be patient, "" it would come." All we got wad them killing our entire from lawn and half of the back lawn. Dead no grass bare dirt, now with some farm weeds. We contacted the corporate office and complained. They sent the Manager of the Plano office out to look, he said this was not their fault. He stated that due to the hot weather, little rain and we did not not water enough, the yard died. Understand, this is the only dead yard in this addition. Every one else around us had cooler weather, lots of rain and plenty of water. City water records show this address used 42,000 gallons of water as well and rain fall during this time and was average or above the eight block area around our address. We are now spending $3,000 for new Sod and True Green says its not their problem. When we finish and have the total financial loss totaled, we plan to file litigation against this company in Collin County. There reply, " So sue us, good luck" I also contacted the Main Parent Company who many this they having a nation wide name would help, but they also said they have to rely on the franchisee that did the work too make the call. This company should loose it licenses in the state of Texas and be investigated for fraud. If you do business with them be ware, this can happen to you.

I utilized TruGreen since 2014 and recently cancelled my service for the following reasons. 1) Not one email was ever answered after numerous were submitted during a two year period. 2) My lawn was showing increased receding in the past two seasons and the cause was not identified. Village Green, my new service company has the condition well in hand.

We weren't home (service is always better when you're there). They say they treated the lawn with a granular product, but I could not find evidence anywhere (even on the utility boxes, sidewalk, etc). The tech was called back, and he had trouble finding a grain, himself. But, he swore he did a wonderful job of treating my lawn...the report he left, from the treatment, says he was here 7 (yes, seven) minutes...fertitilized my entire yard, sprayed for weeds and was done in 7 minutes. When I asked him what was his opinion of the brown spots on the St. Augustine (brown patch), he says he didn't do anything about those....did I call to have them treated? I thought his job was to walk the yard and address all the problems, while he's here. Can't do that in 7 minutes, I guess. If you're going to use them, have them call you in advance (so you know wehn they're coming), and walk with the guy as he does your yard.

They are pretty good. It is $50 per visit. They tell you that they will be there in two days and they come in two days. I don't have any issues with them not showing up.

The problem seems to be that this company is too large to communicate accurately between the national 800 line and the local providers. Our builder had applied wood sealant to our fence using a sprayer, and it killed all of the grass under the fence (and in another spot). I asked Tru Green to come out and have a look and let me know if they could tell if the grass would come back or if I needed to have it replaced with new sod. They said they would send someone out, and it would be a free visit. Great! After a couple of automated phone calls telling me that someone was coming out to apply chemicals, I called several times about setting up this appointment, and at least twice I made it very clear to the person on the phone that I did NOT want another application of chemicals, because they had done that just a few weeks earlier. The people on the phone had correctly entered the instructions in their computer system. But those instructions never reached the person sent out to our yard. That person, completely against my request, simply re-applied the same chemical fertilizer and preemergent as before, and left a receipt charging me for it. After several frustrating phone calls, I finally reached a human, who told me that someone had come on that day and again 3 days later, and he voided the charge. But no one ever answered my question about the dead grass (until today, when a manager whom I reached explained that the grass was almost certainly permanently dead and would have to be replaced). The problem, I think, is that the company's left hand has no idea that its right hand even exists. I cannot trust them, because of these communication problems. I canceled their services and am trying to find a reliable replacement who can handle both lawn treatment and also a little bit of gardening and advice. (I'm fine with doing the edging, trimming, and mowing myself.) Am trying to find a company small enough that such communication catastrophes will not happen.

They wanted to increase the charge to about $60, so I quit using them.

They took less than a week to do the service. They have competitive pricing and their products seems to work well. They do the auto billing feature which is nice.

Next year I'll use them for grass only! I have a few dead bushes and they say to bad drought? There's no guarantee and too costly in my opinion!

Used for a number of years to get lawn into shape. Having a lot less weeds and lawn looks much better compared to when they started. Happy with them but they've become a little more expensive.

Try Green Lawn we did use. It's too early to tell. So far it's too early at this stage. They applied the first application to our lawn. I tried it for years myself and it hasn't responded well so I am trying a professional this year to see if they can do any better. We have a yearly contract. I thought their salesman was pretty good. The first application went off without a hitch. I have no complaints or anything, just haven't used the long enough to see the results. It's too early, I wouldn't recommend them or have anything bad to say against them. It's too early to tell.

The sales person on the phone was very eager to get my lawn in good shape by the summer... "All you'll need is to mow, we'll do the rest" is how it was put to me. I called 5/2/13 to ask and get information, I was told that a service manager was going to call, I placed 2 more calls the following weeks and I'm still waiting on the call! I called and canceled service 3 months later and my a lawn looks just as badly as it did March and a few hundred dollars less.-

On May 7, they came and did a bi-month fertilization of my lawn, including front and back fertilization of the lawn. On May 9, they came back and sprayed my trees and bushes for bugs

Did not use the service because I called for a quote and they gave me 3 detailed options of lawn service with pricing. HOWEVER, they refused to send me any information with what was provided with each of the 3 services. They told me on the phone and said I HAD TO MAKE A DECISION BEFORE I GOT OFF THE PHONE. Are you kidding? What kind of way is that to do business???
