The service was performed well and the service technician was professional. Would use again.

It went very well. I was pleased with the work, and the quick completion. We met one day, and the work was done by 1 PM the next day, on a non-emergency job. The panel was replaced with top-of-the-line equipment (after an upgrade with additional cost, my only real issue with the job - if you are going to sell a cheap job and talk upgrade, how much of a bargain is it, really?). Still, the job was done quickly, cleanly, and professionally; absolutely no problems.

Robert Vielma Jr was the technician that did the job. He was excellent. I ran over the hour so they agreed a price for an additional hour. The service was so good I had them come back a week laster to replace another bathroom fan

David was professional and polite. He did the work quickly and well.

I was satisfied with the work performed and called them again to install GFI replacement outlets on the exterior walls.

When I called to schedule the service it was not explained about the diagnostics fees. After I complained when technician came in, they sent an email. Technician came as 4:40 pm email was received at 5: 13 pm. Explanation came too little too late. Explanation came only after I complained and technician left the location Technician wanted to charge diagnostics fee and started saying that whole my electrical box needed to be changed.He can always suggest improvements but not pressure the customer to do what he advises. 20 minutes after he left I just pressed GFCI button and everything is working. He knew it when he entered my Kitchen (at least he should know if he is serious about his job) and said nothing. So he would have charged me $ 155> I could have paid if he was upfront about the problem. I felt pressured to do the job. He even complained about the traffic to get to the location; saying he wasted his time in traffic and I did not want to pay the fee. He did not even wait for me to finish the call with his customer service and left my house with no explanation. I did not like the attitude and this review is going to website where I found this company and YELP to warn others.

Very professional technician. Easy to understand. I have no reservations on recommending Mr. Electric to anyone. First time I have had any electrical work done, so I have no idea how to rate them on price, so I gave them a "C".

Well, if I have a 5 star rating to all in Google then it would just be another 5 star rating. Truth is that I'm brutally honest with reviews. I got burned by a plumbing company so I told all about them and how I would never do business with j & g plumbing EVER! So when I give a 5 start it is that good. Jeremy (the electrician) came to our home on Thursday to inspect and give us a quote on the work. Jeremy told us all that should expect including disconnecting and reconnecting service with centerpoint. Jeremy was dead on! Monday was a holliday, so Tuesday was their earliest available. Tuesday morning at 7:36 we get a call from Jeremy to let us know that he was on his way. 7:41 get a call from the company (sorry can't remeber her name) to tell us that they are in communication with centralpoint to disconnect service. Jeremy worked from early in the morning till passed 6pm. My father-in-law is a retired electrician and told me how the work should look like if they did it well. Jeremy did it well! Jeremy is very polite, nice person, extremely honest. So the most important question remains. Will we hire Mr. Electric again? Absolutely! Thank you guys, we are very happy with the work.

It went okay. I was very satisfied and had him come out to do some other things, but subsequently found out that he labeled my breaker box incorrectly, which caused some other issues. He was very prompt. I originally thought the technician was very good, but as I mentioned, he ended up labeling things incorrectly which caused a problem later when things kept tripping. I probably would not use them in the future.

First of all, he came out and told me that we were overloading the breaker. He gave me several choices, doing nothing to rewiring. We told about different options including using LEDs to reduce the load. We would able to increase our breaker size, change to LEDs, and he also found a problem with our kitchen. He was polite, NOT a salesman but rather a problem solver. I asked him to take off his shoes and he said not a problem. I will used them again because of their skills and honesty. Carl

Perfect. Luis Baires, the technician, did an excellent job. He was prompt, personable, and thorough. And he knew his stuff! I would recommend him in a New York minute.

Provider was polite and on time. The quote was over-priced with no apparent room for negotiation. They must have a lot of customers, no need for competitive prices.

I had to buy a new refrigerator when they were done. It didn't go really good. The work was done over at my mom's house. I'm remodeling my mom's house. They came out to replace the breaker box. They came up with a $300 charge to replace the wire from the breaker box to the meter. It was way overpriced and they finally did it for $200. Their rates are extremely high. They crossed a wire, less than 24 hours later we had to buy a new refrigerator for my mom. When I informed them of what happened they said that they would send out a repairman to look at it. It ended up costing a couple of hundred dollars more than what they said. They paid little regard that they were overpriced, and they added charges. The quality, I had to replace the refrigerator. They were good about calling us, and coming on time. Once they were done it was difficult to get them to respond. They added in hidden charges. He called us and told us that he was going to be two hours late. I'll tell people to go to Angie's List and use their resources.

Francisco came to assess the old breaker box to see if there was any possibility of "added costs" above the BIG DEAL I purchased via Angie's List. He said the job would take about 4-6 hours and the electricity would be off 3-5 hours. He arrived ON TIME and started work immediately. He let me know that I did not have to stay home during the process (it was cool outside and the heater would be off). I went to run errands and when returned, he said he had about another hour of work and I left to get some lunch. When I returned he labeled all the breakers in the NEW BOX and also showed me that there was space for more to be added if I decided one day to add on to the home, etc. I had another issue in the house that would require the help of an electrician, and Francisco made some suggestions and told me to call the office to arrange further services when I was ready. I will use this company again!!

Nothing, they came out on time, but did not perform any work. Verbiage in the coupon was confusing.

He did an excellent job, and made such a good impression. If I ever need anymore electric work they will be the ones I call. The man really went above and beyond from what we were expecting.

Replace Electrical PanelBig Deal was almost a bait and switch. Tech was not very professional and continued to add cost to project.

They did an awesome job. The electrician, Luis, came by before the date of the service to check out the panel and make sure there wouldn't be any surprises for us on the day of the service. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough when replacing the panel. He even corrected some previous issues that we weren't aware of with the breakers. He went above and beyond and even wore protective covers on his feet whenever he had to come inside. He worked for probably nine and a half hours straight. The panel is now completely replaced and labeled. I would definitely use this company and electrician again.

It was about $1500, $1600, and $1700 higher than what I have gotten from other electrical companies. The guy showing up and everything was fine until I realized that they were thousands of dollars more than what I needed to pay. He was nice and he knew what he was talking about. Everything was fine, but their price was extremely inflated. With regards to his punctuality, he was on time.

I found them from the Angie's List deal where they had an install on an outdoor GFCI outlet at a good cost, but the distance was only 5 feet. I called them and asked them what the cost would be to run it 60 feet instead of 5 feet. They gave me an estimate over the phone, but also offered to have someone come and get a better look to give a better estimate at no charge (unlike On Time Electric who charged me $59 dollars for an estimate). When they came out (Luis was EARLY which is unheard of and much appreciated by me) I showed him what I wanted and he explained what was needed to make it happen. This is important because Luis took the time to understand other projects I would be doing in the backyard to keep the electric line out of the way of other projects while also thinking how to keep it as asthetically pleasing to the eye as possible (meaning minimize any viewable line runs). The price was higher than originally quoted, but that was because I didn't know everything that was actually needed to do the job. Luis was very professional in his work and took the time to care for the smaller things that a lot of others would just pass over. Even though I didn't buy the Angie's List deal they did give me the discount being associated with Angie's List which was very nice. I would have given them all "A's", but since no one replied back to my initial request I submitted on their website (and I had to initiate another phone call) I gave them a "B" on responsiveness. It's closer to a "B+" because Luis did make time to get it all done the same day and he literally spent the whole day getting it completed. Kudos to Luis and the Mr. Electric of Northwest Houston company. Just as a side note, Mr. Electric was not the cheapest but absolutely blew the price of On Time Electric out of the water. I will definitely use Mr. Electric of Northwest Houston for my future electrical needs.

It turned out fine. They're thorough, efficient and they stayed here and worked all day. I would use them again in the future.

Because of the age of my house, there was additional costs that I currently do not have the budget for. I did received follow-ups on my quote. Very friendly people.

I woke up in the morning and half of my house was without power. So prior to calling electrical provider, I decided to call electrician. They returned my call immediately and were to schedule my appointment in the morning. They were going to have the technician to give me call when he was Gilbert was absolutely wonderful, he called me prior to his arrival to let me know exactly when he was going to arrive. He was right at the dot, pulled up and was very professional. It was little harder to communicate as his and my accents are little different. He checked my breaker and was trying to figure out what is causing my problem. He looked at the meter, all the switches and was explaining to me all of the options. He was wonderful, professional and really trying to help me. We figured out that either the problem is the transformer, which will need to be checked by utility company and if not I'll have to have the cable running from the transformer to the meter replaced = which per the quote is another $2,500. The only thing I though was that the services are overpriced - for the diagnosis I paid $300 dollars - he was there for couple of hours!
