Description of Work: I hired Anderson Remodeling to renovate my existing fireplace. The existing fireplace was a nice, formal mantel with detailed legs, builder grade tile around the opening to the fireplace, and a tile hearth level with the floor. Anderson Remodeling removed the existing mantel, mantel legs, and tile. They installed a new mantel, built a hearth, and had their masonry guy rock the fireplace and hearth. Overall, it was an easy, pain-free experience that resulted in a very high quality, beautiful new fireplace. Anderson Remodeling will definitely be at the top of my list for any future home repair, improvement, or renovation projects.

Description of Work: Replaced siding where squirrels had eaten into the attic; painted house, re-calked windows, installed door-bell; did major work in back yard to reclaim it from vines, removed limbs near house, removed fencing no longer in use, created a drain path away from house so water would not enter weep holes, reinforced fencing, readjusted the lock fit on gates, trimmed bushes, hauled everything off.

Description of Work: Painted house, replaced quite a bit of rotten wood, replaced two large kitchen windows, added gutters along back of house, replaced and added on to existing deck. Thought they were a bit pricy, but have been burned in the past by going with the lowest bid and less of a professional. Very pleased with the job, enjoyed working with them--they accomplished all that was requested.

Description of Work: Anderson had previously painted the exterior of my house and did a fabulous job! So, when I was having trouble with a contractor and needed to fire them, I called Anderson to come give me a quote on the unfinished work. I don't remember the name of the woman who came out, but she didn't seem really interested in the job and truthfully, a little bored. I guess she didn't want the work because the quote she gave me was sky high. It was triple what the other two quotes were. I ended up going with another Angie's List painter who did the work for a fraction (1/3 to be exact) of Anderson's estimate and did a wonderful job.

 + -1 moreMy husband 3 companies to get an estimate. I picked this one because the girl that came to do the measuring was so efficient. They use a subcontractor and they used her to decide when I was done with the project. I give them A+'s on everything they were so good.
Description of Work: Painted bathroom and the bedroom and they did a faux finish on both-it was fabulous. It was a French wash. They also did the crown molding and floor moulding and they didn't get a spot on the floor that we had just put in.

 + -1 moreFrom start to finish these guys were in over their heads. Little or no supervision resulted in me having to supervise almost every phase of the project. Almost all of their workers had bad attitudes and didn't care if the job was done right. Several things had to be done two and three times before they got it right. I stopped the project before they installed the interior French doors because I was tired of their shoddy work.
Description of Work: Remodel master bathroom, replace exterior French doors and install new interior French doors.

 + -1 moreThey did a very poor remodeling job. It took 2 days longer than expected to do the job. They made it look worse than before they started. I felt like his workers were just picked up off the street to do the work. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They made it look like a total wreck and I am embarrassed to have anyone use that restroom. The company did extra plumbing work which wasn't needed and charged an extra $500 for it. I will never use them again!

 + -1 moreI feel they did a very good job. They did a good job of matching the texture on the walls with the right color of paint. They were in and out in 2 days. They left no mess, even after doing drywall. They were very professional, and the price never changed. Plus, managers came to check on the job several times to be sure the workers were doing well, and that we were satisfied.
Description of Work: Anderson Remodeling replaced some walls that were water damaged. They replaced sheet rock in the ceiling, as well.

 + 0 moreWe needed to get the garage sided so we called Andersons Home improvements and we are very pleased with the service they provided. We had new siding put on the garage and we updated the front of our house and we also had them fix up our gutters. We found them to be very professional, punctual and they did what we asked without a problem. When they were finished everything was cleaned up to perfection. We would certainly call this company in the future as they were very reasonably priced.

 + -1 moreAnderson did an excellent job on the outside of our house. The paint was peeling off at the time we called, and it needed to be done. The start time was very early, luckily it was mid-summer, and so morning temperatures did not hamper the painting. After they sanded down the exterior, it took two days and no paint was tracked in the house. We will definitely hire them again if we have painting done.

There were four painters to do it, and it took them less than two days to finish our house that is not very large. Everything was cleaned on a daily basis, and they were nice enough to try to avoid using our bathroom too often. The house really needed it and they did an excellent job.

 + -1 moreI have used Anderson Painting two times in the past to do work for me. They have done various types of work from replacing gutters to painting new doors and installing them for me. They did put screens over the gutters so they do not get plugged up so easy. I have had good luck with their product, as it seems to hold up well.

 + -1 moreThe water damage was not really severe, but it was obvious by the discoloration on the baseboards that something needed to be done. Anderson really did a fine job of making the old, undamaged paint match the newly painted areas. It is absolutely impossible to tell which is which and they were very nice men.
