Our move went flawlessly. The 3 gentlemen that moved us were friendly & professional. We'd hire Firehouse again in a second.

I am happy to report that the entire experience was very positive. The staff acted with the utmost professionalism and were very efficient in conducting their business. I must say that out of all my moving experiences, this was the least stressful and probably the only one that didn’t leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. Consider me a good reference for Firehouse Movers!

Thank you for providing excellent moving services yesterday. The crew (Mario, Jesus & Stephen) was amazing! Very respectful, hard working, profession gentlemen that hustled and took great care of my furniture. I appreciate the extra time that they took to set-up and assemble my office desks. Absolutely Amazing Team!! Will definitely recommend them.

Workers were very efficient and did not waste any time or money, since I was paying by the hour. My only disappointment was they took a piece of furniture apart to move and they left without putting it together and/or leaving the nuts and bolts to do so. Office staff was very helpful in planning the move. Nothing was broken in the move and all large pieces were shrink wrapped. 3 men did the job.

I have never dealt with company this great! From the beginning where they emailed me quote to showing up on time, quickly getting to work to moving everything with 30 minutes of time estimated. Movers were very nice and stayed busy the entire time checking with me throughout the whole process to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. A week after the move I had several items that I needed moved to a storage unit and when the person who was suppose to help didn't show up, I called Firehouse again. Allison was so sweet and kind and asked me to stay on the line while she checked to see if they could help. They did have an opening that afternoon and came back out. Amazing!

Flawlessly. Joe, Tery, and Edwin were polite, professional, careful with our possessions, and worked very fast. Fire House Movers have moved us twice in 14 months. Very positive experience. If you are looking for a moving company, look no further. You can't do better than Fire House Movers.

Work was phenomenal. April and her team were awesome and super nice people to work with. Mine was the last move for the day and the guys who showed up were very nice, patient and accommodating. Very PROFESSIONAL and took care of my stuff as if it were theirs. I was very nervous when I chose them, but once they showed up...within 10 mins of me interacting with them and they getting the job started, put my worries to rest. Overall...hands down phenomenal job on moving my stuff and not going over budget by burning hours for no reason. Just hire them and they will get it done :). Thanks April and team @ Firehouse. They were very easy to work with. It just took a phone call to arrange the date, and the person I spoke with was very clear about how the process worked and what the costs were. The truck arrived on time, and the three movers were polite, organized and professional. I was also impressed with how careful they were with furniture and with trying not to hit walls, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to call this company again. This was a very positive experience.

The crew doing the work arrived towards the end of the day since we were last on the schedule. That didn't slow them down, they went about their business with as much energy and enthusiasm as it was the first job of the day. They placed furniture where we requested and also installed the washer and dryer. This was the third time we have used this vendor since December 2015. We downsized from a house to an apartment and we also used them to move personal belongings and furniture from a storage facility to a location within our apartment complex. We plan to move again in the spring of 2017 and will be calling on them again. I have no problem recommending them to anyone needing a professional and dependable moving service provider.

I was extremely impressed with Carlos and his crew during our move. All the workers were well trained and very efficient, it seemed that when they were not carrying something they were jogging to get the next box! All were very respectful of my belongings and took great care in not damaging anything. I have moved several times in the past ten years and this is the first time that absolutely NOTHING was damaged!! This is the ONLY moving company that I will recommend. Carlos and team were amazing, actually everyone at Firehouse Movers was amazing. Had to reschedule multiple times because closing was not going well, and finally had to move me somewhere. The guys were amazing, moved down from the 4th floor with no elevator. They were very professional and courteous. The guys even packed everything perfectly into a POD do to lack of other choices. Thank you, thank you. Hopefully closing happens soon and you guys can get me in my actual home!

Firehouse movers damaged three new furnishings during a move. One was a leather chair torn in 4 places. The chair was only 3-4 months old. Other damages: The movers damaged three pieces of furniture during a move on August 7, 2015. I emailed photos of the garbage they left at both locations as well as the damages to the company. A representative "Kyle" came out and cleaned the red stain on the couch. The desk he climbed under and observed the damages. Later we discovered they had torn a leather chair less than 4 months old that we purchased new from Freeds Furnishings for $1,082.45 which was delivered new on May 22, 2015. We paid Firehouse $862.50 on August 7, 2015. Transaction I.D. 100247116875 for our move from one home to another and during the move they damaged the chair as well as the other two items. Once I sent photos via email I received a response back from them that they had refunded $135.00 for the .60 per pound in damages per TXDOT requirements. That does not cover the costs to replace the items (leather chair $1,082.45 and desk $750.00). We paid to have the items moved and to arrive in the same condition as they were before they were moved not to have them damaged beyond repair. Their workers left numerous empty water bottles at both locations, a roll of shrink wrap, pliers, a moving blanket and some sort of clothing bar that was left in the gutter outside the new residence along with drink cans and more water bottles. I was advised by "Kyle" that he had split up that crew because there was some sort of friction between the workers. That "friction" obviously caused a poor performance on the company's behalf and caused damages to our properties. All conversations and in person contacts were recorded as well as photos of the damages.

Firehouse movers is an amazing moving company. Joe, Javier, Terry, and Steven were excellent. This is the third move we've used Joe's crew for and, like every other time, it has been fast, smooth, and without incident. The Firehouse difference is in the details. The team always moves fast, a two stage move only took a few hours. Joe has significant experience in moving and coordinates all team members to move large items without damage to walls or floors. Each team member cared about not just simply moving items but placing them where needed and with great care. Team members will change shirts throughout the move to ensure your furniture and goods stay clean upon move in. Joe is an expert at fitting a whole house into one trailer to save trips. I can't say enough good things about Firehouse movers especially the team above. We would recommend Firehouse to anyone looking for great movers!

The moving crew was excellent! They were efficient, courteous and extremely helpful. They even repaired a bookshelf that was unstable prior to loading it to help protect it for the move! Ronnie, Jose, and William were wonderful... I'll definitely be using Firehouse Movers for any future moves!

The movers worked quickly and efficiently, and they were very friendly and polite. All of the furniture and boxes were carefully handled, and they reassembled a large wall unit at the new location. Great job!

Everything went great. They arrived on time and were very careful moving our things and placing them where we wanted them.

This is just an excellent group of profession movers. I have used the company several times in the past, and the moving experience (which is normally pretty painful) has just gotten better and better. For this move they sent "Carlos' team"--a great group of three guys who are friendly, but all business. They are fast, unbelievable strong, careful, and resourceful. The company charges by the hour (with an extra trip fee), but I still paid about $300 less than I expected to for a full day's move. I recommend Firehouse Movers and Carlos' team highly without reservation.

My husband and I have been transferred 4 times before this move. His company hires the large moving company's to move their employees. The group of men that Firehouse Movers sent to move us were far better than any of the large moving companies we have ever used. I can say they took exceptional care of our furniture, and went above and beyond protecting walls and wood floors as they moved us in. They were quick also. We mentioned we had bought felt pads to go on the bottom of the furniture and they offered to put it on the feet before they brought each piece in. They padded every piece of our furniture before setting it on the floor. When they left everything was set up and in place. There was not one scratch on furniture or walls. I would highly recommend this company, and we would not hesitate to use them again!!

Everything was fantastic. They showed up on time and went straight to work. They were very pleasant and fun to work with. I would recommend them to others.

We were moving to a new home only 12 miles away, but since I was 7 months pregnant, we needed to hire some help. We got estimates from 3 different companies ranging from $5500 to $2500. Firehouse had been recommended to us by an acquaintance, and they were the lowest estimate, so we hired them. Their 3 man crew arrived on time and got right to work. The head of the crew was a little grumpy and not exactly a people person, but he did a good job. The other two guys were extremely nice and worked harder than I have ever seen two guys work before. When they were finished packing on the first day, we did a walk through and they had only missed a few things - a drawer here, a cabinet there. They quickly packed up what they had missed and called it a day. They arrived a little early on day two because the weather called for rain in the afternoon. It took two trips to get everything to the new house, and they were very quick and efficient. When it was all said and done they came in under their original estimate. There was very minimal damage - two or three small items were broken - but our furniture and other important things were all fine. A few boxes were packed a little haphazardly, particularly the garage stuff, but it wasn't done carelessly.

We made the mistake of hiring Firehouse Movers. Firehouse Movers Inc. We hired Firehouse Movers to move from Dallas to the Houston area on September 25, 2014. Firehouse Movers damaged our new stairs finish and put gouges in our new stairs. The movers used a hand dolly on the stairs to move boxes to the 2nd floor of our home. Why on earth a would be ?professional mover? would use a hand dolly on new wooden stairs, rather than carry the boxes is beyond me. On October 6, 2014, I contacted Firehouse Movers regarding the damage they had done to our new stairs. On October 10, 2014 I received the following response from Firehouse Movers: I wanted to send you the contract you signed on the date of the move stating that Firehouse Movers is not responsible for any structural damages. We have told the owner that you want him to call you but, as you are already aware, he is at the station and won't be back in the office until next week. We wanted to go ahead and send this to you to make you aware that it does state in our contract that we are not liable for structural damages. *Note, I never stated structural damage had been done to our new stairs. I have yet to receive a phone call from the owner as promised. We spent a lot of money getting our new home ready, DE Flooring Granite Remodeling did a wonderful job remodeling our new home. But Firehouse Movers ruined our new stairs and does not want to do the right thing and repair our new stairs. I received an estimate from DE Flooring Granite Remodeling for the repairs to our new stairs. *Note, I am sending Firehouse Movers a bill for the repairs. I will update my post and let you know how this drama unfolds. Don?t use Firehouse Movers, look elsewhere. We contacted Firehouse Movers regarding the damage to our stairs on October 6, 2014, and they did not follow up with us until October 21, 2014. When Firehouse Movers did get around to contacting us, we were told the owner was busy working at his other job, ?We have told the owner you want him to call you but, as you are already aware, he is at the station and won?t be back in the office until next week.? To make matters worse we are repeat customers, you would think they would have called gotten back to us in a timely manner. Great job. The men were very careful with all our belongings. They were professional and courteous in all respects. I would highly recommend this company for your move. They showed up right on time and worked non stop until job was finished.

The company as a whole provided a great service. The crews were very friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. I have recommended them and would continue to recommend. They were great at working with us when we had scheduling conflicts with PODS. The crew was great about sticking around even when the time that was allocated was miscalculated. However, I would make sure that when you have the sales person come out to survey how many movers you need, approximately how much time it will take and how many truck loads and/or storage/PODS you might need that you feel good about the estimate they provide for all facets of your move. Also, make sure that when the office is putting together the schedule, the number of crew members and time allocated that you they deliver what they promised. I had an experience where they did not send the number of crew members that I was promised and then they pulled them off my job to go do someone else's job. All of the crew was sent back except 1 and another crew was added at the end of the day and they stayed for the time they could but not all could commit to what was needed. I must add that I own a LOT of STUFF so it definitely took longer than the sales person thought it would. I would also suggest you get the additional insurance. They claim to have their own insurance which only covers .60 per lb. I had several things scratched, broken, screws lost for fridge handles, mirror broken, TV and deep freeze not working upon delivery, etc. They were gracious about repairing the items that they wanted to repair but stated they were not obligated to take care of things damaged. Basically they pick and choose what they will cover (whether directly or under their own insurance). The 2 larger items were denied. They claimed that one of their forms states they are not responsible for anything that would be handled by anyone else but them.... but no one else handled my stuff but them. The owner, Brian, is the one who stated they would not be taking care of the 2 items that I was most concerned about. I have provided emails and facts in writing to him to back up my concerns but my last correspondence was ignored. Again, the pricing and the movers were great. The scheduling, billing and the picking and choosing as to what they would repair was inadequate. In response they did repair some of the items but the 2 major items they would not even consider having someone look at them or even offered the .60 per lb so I could have them repaired. Yes I did have to make changes to the date of the move due to a PODS scheduling issue and they did work with me to change the date. At first they said it would not work out but then they called back and said it would and they offered me the number of guys we had discussed and set a time for them to be at my home. They never did tell me that the guys would have to be pulled off my job to go take care of someone else's job and then I had to complain some for them to send them back and another crew. So much so that the owner contacted me and apologized for the scheduling issue and offered up a discount for the move to our new home. He said that this had never happened before and it was the changes that caused the problem but someone should have communicated with me. Nothing was changed on my bid with the exception I did not need them to pack for me, I did the packing myself. The sales man went through my home and attic and told me how many PODS he thought I would need but the estimate was incorrect. Instead of 3 I needed 5. I have no issues with the amount of PODS we needed as they can't control how much stuff we own. It was just an error in calculation. I have no issues with the cost of the service as we have a lot of stuff. I have no issues with the loading and unloading for the most part. I have been given no refund for any claimed damages. They replaced a broken mirror but replaced it with a flat mirror when it was a beveled mirror. They said they were not obligated to take care of it at all. My issue is that they are claiming to have taken care of all items but they have refused to take care of the 2 items that are most important. They can't claim they fixed everything or addressed it, when they denied my request.

The scheduling process was fast and easy. No hidden fees or surprises. The moving team arrived exactly on time and did a fantastic job! They even switched out the cord for our dryer at no charge when they discovered the outlet at the new house was 3 prong instead of 4. Great customer experience!
