We had to book them last minute after our usual mover would not move 3rd floor with no elevator. This was not an obstacle for Firehouse Movers. We had Steven, Pavel, and Terrance. These three guys were nothing less than GREAT. They were polite, gracious, fun, prompt, hard working and extremely professional. They all get 5 stars. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone in need of a move and not have to worry about the quality of the movers and their equipment. 100% SATISFIED!

This has been the third time Firehouse Movers has moved in in the DFW area; each time the employees have been terrific. Miss Liz handled all the preliminaries with confidence and a reassuring voice, and the three man crew were timely, efficient, clean and hard-working on both the packing as well as moving the following day. It never bothers me to pay for honorable "services rendered", and it was this way again. I am grateful for the efforts shown to me by all the employees, and somehow a "thank you" seems inadequate for all the good work performed in my behalf.

Fabulous crew! Very efficient, and great to work with. Ensured all furniture was covered and protected going above our expectations for the care provided. Our move went amazing we will definitely use them again!

It didn't. Was quoted a price then the front office lady called and said I was quoted too low and almost doubled the price only a few days prior to moving. Had to scramble to locate another mover.

I highly recommend them and will use them in the future. The crew was polite, fast, accommodating, and very professional. I had to change my dates and times at least a couple of times due to changes in closing on my old house and transistioning to my new house.

Love Firehouse Movers! they are the best! the girls in the office are great! and the guys could not be better while moving our stuff! they work very fast and are always smiling. We will use them every time.

Overall VERY pleased with the level of service and professionalism. 3 guys knocked out our move in record time. Our belonging were warp and packed safely. We moved in to our newly built house and all 3 movers were very careful to not damage anything. I didn't even have to ask them to be careful, they were all over it. I Highly recommend FHM.

Awesome! I have used these guys more often than I care to admit in the last six months! They are always on time, very careful with my belongings and so friendly. Unlike other moving companies I have used, they don't hold your stuff hostage until you pay (by the hour but before job is complete! What is that about???) I HIGHLY recommend this company!!

Firehouse Movers is a first class business that provides outstanding customer service. I have used them to move several times over the last decade. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

The movers arrived and wasted no time in assessing the situation and getting busy protecting and loading our possessions. They would explain what they were doing, and why, as they went along. They continually worked with urgency, but not recklessly, because they know their time is your money. The unloading went just as smoothly, and they were very patient as we had to sometimes deliberate where certain items would go. When the work was completed, the total amount was on the low end of what they had estimated, so there were no surprises. These guys are great and I would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

They were there on time, worked well as a team. They knew most of the questions I was going to ask and had ready answers or recommendations. I was very pleased with my move by them.

The guys walked slow. Even if it was a light item they walked it on a dolly. They didn't hey it all in one load as estimated. They item that were left were bicycles and a heavy plant. If we had been told it wouldn't all fit, we would have chosen to leave some smaller items and move them ourselves instead of paying 3 more hours for a second load. I do not recommend paying movers by the hour.

The movers were prompt, friendly and efficient. I would recommend this company.

Wes and his team were great and got the job in a timely fashion.

The crew was there on time as promised. They was professional and respectful of our home and belongings. However there were a few things that we had issues with: 1. they were slow getting the job completed so the overall completion time was about two hours over estimated time which unfortunately cost more money. 2. They were also missing some moving supplies and asked to use ours, which was quite disappointing. Alot of the furniture pieces were not fully wrapped to protect them - Leather sofa corners, two wood Ottoman bases, Desk hutch screw was screwed in from one side to the other side 3. They packed the truck with a majority of our items, but we had multiple furniture pieces damaged due to improper packing in the truck which could have been avoided by proper placement. We have taken photos and attempted to contact management several times. We have not received a response back from any of our calls. We would not recommend using this company.

The vast majority of these reviews tend to focus on the move itself, which is what attracted me to Firehouse in the first place. This review, however, pertains to my interactions with the Reservationist, Cara, and the poor treatment we received when requesting a simple quote. For that, we'll never know for ourselves how good the moving experience is. First impressions for any business count for a lot and, unlike some of the other movers on Angie's List that we contacted, Cara's demeanor and attitude was artificial and borderline contemptuous. Again, we were seeking a simple quote - based on the same details we provided to several other moving companies - and we received efficient responses from them as a result. Cara kept pressing us for more details than we were comfortable providing - details that no other movers needed in order to provide a quote. Then she began to up-sell us on additional options before we had even established the base quote. After about 20 minutes of needless back and forth, we finally were able to get a cost quote from Cara. While the price was ultimately competitive and appealing, the poor front-of-house customer service nudged us toward a competitor. If, after reading this review, you still choose to contact Firehouse and find your experience to be different (and better!), I hope it's because they took this review to heart and attempted to improve their customer service.

This was an awesome job. Michael and the crew were super efficient finishing the job in way less time than I thought it would take. They were extremely diligent and careful to not hit any walls for door frames. Not a scratch on either home and nothing was damaged in the move. This was a painless move.

The crew was very punctual, contacted us ahead of arrival and worked with us timing wise since the were ahead of original quoted schedule. We had most all the furnishings ready to go and any additional non-move items out of the way. The crew carefully wrapped and moved out mom’s furnishings to her new apartment. There were elevators available at both apartments so that made the move more smoothly. The crew was very efficient and finished in good time. We did not require any further charges. Nice change from some of our previous experiences. We would certainly try them again.

went great... ADVANCED movers cancelled on us the day we had scheduled for and firehouse came the next day and were great...advanced charged us and would not credit us back until pay pal got involved..loved firehouse guys..

Very well. Punctual, efficient and very nice men

Unbelievable customer service! The closing was delayed several times (our buyer's buyer had trouble with funding) and Firehouse rescheduled each time to accommodate our move. They even took care of the homeowners we were buying from when their movers could not reschedule. The actual service went very well, the team was very professional and also were very competitively priced compared to other vendors on Angie's List. We are very happy and would use them again!

Firehouse Movers were phenomenal! It was a wonderful experience. They were a joy to have help us move.
