Description of Work: The crew was fantastic, timely, and patient with my multiple change requests (I called them out to help move stuff within my property, only after seeing it somewhere did I decide I actually wanted it on another wall).

Description of Work: I hired Firehouse to pack and move me. The packing went great--and I was totally unprepared for them. Their service and efficiency is outstanding! I contracted them to pack 3 areas--garage, kitchen and office. I only had them pack garage and part of the office and what I had thought was disaster areas was easily conquered and done by the 3 man crew. This was the service where you directed and they did the work--nice, right?! | |They came recommended to me by a neighbor who recently used them for their move. I would highly recommend them! FYI--I provided the packing materials.

Description of Work: Three men from Firehouse moved my twenty-something daughter from one residence to another. They arrived within the time frame given (the office kept us updated on arrival time) and moved everything VERY carefully with no extra fees. The men were courteous, personable and very professional. I have already recommended them to friends.

Description of Work: They contacted me three times before the actual move to touch base about the services and date and cost of move. They were right on time, got the job done quickly and professionally. Kyle made sure I was satisfied with how things were going and they were very careful with the furniture and the wood floors. I will recommend this company to anyone that needs a moving company and if I move again I will definitely use Firehouse Movers.

Description of Work: They have high ratings and seem nice enough but watch out. A form of what I consider bait and switch although not perhaps the classic con game sort. I asked for an absolute range they could live with and made clear my wanting an assured max (unusual conditions such as ice storms/broken elevators aside) and was given a range of 1000-1250. I could live with that. This was further agreed to as a max in multiple emails. When it came time to set the date, they send a contract that states: Only an estimate. No guarantees. When I write in the max that they had agreed to in writing, owner calls up and says he cannot live with any changes to their effective "estimate only--if time is more you pay and we already have your credit card" procedure. Then they have the gall to say that "if you want a max it will be $1800," more than the amount I had rejected from another more upright bidder likewise on Angie's List. So beware. If you want to leave the possibility of major surprises, OK. If not, get a maximum guaranteed ceiling from any number of bidders. But don't rely on their so-called assurances.
