They were great. Never took a break. This was the day the weather was so bad with funnels on the ground and hail. They took great care to proctect everything from getting wet.

This has been my BEST move ever! (and I've moved a lot) The movers were very professional and punctual. They hustled the entire time and did not stop for a break on my time. They were careful with my items. Nothing was damaged or broken and they were very courteous. I recommend them highly and would definitely use them again.

Firehouse Movers arrived precisely at 7:30 a.m., loaded a 3-bedroom/2-bath house of furniture in 3 hours, drove 110 miles, unloaded and headed back to Dallas by 2:30 p.m. They were extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. They even loaded live house plants which I believe many movers will not do. I can't say enough good things about Ronnie, Carlos, and Ted. Mother is 90 years old and doesn't plan to ever move again. But if she did, they'd be my only call.

Overall, the experience has been good. The employees are off-duty firemen. On our last experience, they completed the work really quickly; we moved from one 4-bedroom home to another 4-bedroom home in about 4 hours. They used two trucks without charging anything extra. They charge by the hour with the number of people that do the work, so it roughly comes out to about a $100 an hour for 3 men. They’ve done a great job and I’ve been impressed! I’ve always rececomended them to anybody that needs a mover.

These guys arrived on time and started loading their truck a.s.a.p. I have never seen three people work so hard and so fast before. They were amazing! They never took a break or slowed down, and I was paying them by the hour. I had a ton of stuff to move and they finished the job within four hours. Nothing was damaged, everything was put where I wanted it in the new home. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a reliable moving company.

It was an all-day move; it was at least a 6 to 7 hour move. They were fantastic, efficient, quick and friendly. There was no damage to anything.

I had some boxes for them to move on one day - it was easy to set up the time. I requested the same men when the big furniture was to be moved. They even moved the piano for no extra charge.

They were very good and I was impressed with them. They were quick and I was paying by the hour. They didn’t damage anything and didn’t have any storage facility. They were pleasant and courteous. They do a good job, even when they were paid by the hour. They take care of your furniture and see that they do not damage the same. I will use their services in the future again.

they did not show up at the promised time but they called the day before to let me know of the delay. still completed the task for the price quoted. nice people who did a nice job

On a Friday afternoon, I called Firehouse and asked their representative for a bid for next day service (to be on a Saturday) ; his bid was almost twice what others quoted me! While I realize that some business operators might feel justified in charging more for short-notice work, I suspect this bidder either hadn't checked his competition's prices or was hoping I wouldn't price-shop. I phoned Two Men and a Truck next and received what I felt was a reasonable bid. I hired them to move my things 20 miles . I was quite pleased with every aspect of their service, and their price seemed well in line for what I asked them to do.

Absolutely outstanding in every category. They were punctual, friendly, and caring. Very polite and accommodating. They were paid by the hour but they ran back to the truck rather than walked. They wanted to get done. Very Very pleased.

It went great. I've used Firehouse Movers three times now. (Hopefully this will be my last for awhile as I've bought a house this time.). The first move was around March 2006, then Oct 2008 and finally Oct 24 2009. All 3 moves were better then expected. The crew showed up on time (I've always had the first move of the day), there were no communication issues with any of the team, they worked quickly, even thought I hired them on a per hour basis. The crew had the proper equipment to move my belongings and to protect them in the truck. Frankly this is the best moving company I've ever worked with and in the future will be the only company I'll ever call. The fact that I've had three great experiences with 3 completely different crews means this company has their act together.

The workers at Firehouse Movers are hard workers. They are very efficient. They have top notch professionalism. They are absolutely honest. They do as much as I ask of them. I am very pleased with them.

The movers were on time, careful, polite, and quick. It was easily the best moving service we have ever used.

ON TIME; ALWAYS PLEASANT AND ACCOMMODATING TO HOMEOWNER'S ANXIETY OVER MOVEMENT OF ANTIQUES. INITIAL QUOTE WAS BELOW OUR EXPECTATIONS AND EVEN BETTER, ON COMPLETION, THE BALANCE DUE WAS EVEN LOWER. NO DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE NOTED. ALTOGETHER, A MOST SATISFYING EXPERIENCE (IF ANY MOVE COULD BE CONSIDERED SATISFYING).

IT WAS THE HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR SO FAR(95 DEGREES AT 4:00 PM). THIS COMPANY MADE THE MOVING PROCESS EASIER. GETTING AN APPOINTMENT WAS NO PROBLEM, AND THE CONTRACT WAS FAXED TO ME; I KNEW AHEAD OF TIME THE TYPE OF CREW THAT WOULD BE COMING, AND THE APPROXIMATE PRICE. THE CREW WAS GREAT. THEY ARRIVED AT MY OLD ADDRESS ABOUT 10 MINUTES BEFORE I GOT THERE, BUT DID NOT START MY BILLING TIME UNTIL I WAS THERE. (VERY NICE). THEY MOVED EVERYTHING QUICKLY AND CAREFULLY. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THE RECEPTIONIST WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL, AND THE THREE GUYS WHO PERFORMED THE MOVE WORKED HARDER THAN ANY OTHER MOVERS I HAVE USED. THEY RAN EVEN THOUGH THEY DID NOT HAVE AN AFTERNOON MOVE AND THEY WERE BEING PAID HOURLY. ADDITIONALLY, I POINTED OUT A FEW EXTREMELY DELICATE ITEMS AND THEY TREATED THEM WITH KID GLOVES AND GOT THEM TO THE NEW HOUSE IN PERFECT CONDITION. THEY ALSO DID NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR A PIANO OR DRILL PRESS THAT WERE MOVED. THE ONLY THING I WAS SLIGHTLY DISAPPOINTED WITH WAS THAT ON THE PHONE THEY SAID IT WOULD BE A 32 FT TRUCK, WHEN IN REALITY IT WAS A 32 FT TRAILER. THE ACTUAL COMMENT WAS THAT THE ''32 FT TRUCK IS ONE STEP DOWN FROM AN 18 WHEELER''. I THINK A TRUE 32 FT BOX TRUCK WOULD HAVE BEEN LARGER (TALLER AND WIDER) AND I MAY NOT HAVE HAD TO RENT A TRUCK THE NEXT DAY TO FINISH THE MOVE.

THE THREE FIREHOUSE PERSONNEL WERE PROFESSIONAL AND EXECUTED THE MOVE WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME PROPOSED. THE CABINET WAS TREATED WITH KID GLOVES. I WILL USE THESE PEOPLE IN ANY FUTURE MOVES.

WE PAID BY THE HOUR AND THEY WORKED VERY FAST! NOTHING WAS BROKEN, THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND VERY ACCOMMODATING TO US. THEY EVEN STAYED AND HELPED SET UP ANYTHING WE WANTED. THEY MOVED THE HOUSE FULL OF FURNITURE AND TO TOP IT OFF IT WAS RAINING, BUT NOTHING GOT WET! THEY WERE FANTASTIC!!!
