Ok so you want details :) I personally used Firehouse movers also this summer for my own move. I loved the service and the experience so much I told my mother to not only use them but request the same team. The same team showed up. I have to tell you these guys are SAINTS. My mother sold her home and had an usual move. She was putting most everything into storage units ( 3 of them in all different locations). Everything was handled with extreme care and courteous detail. My mother has some quite valuable antiques that Firehouse treated with such great care and caution. You would have thought Sotheby's was personally overseeing this move. I do not exaggerate. All you need to know is if you want a move done the right way with people who are not amateurs give Firehouse a call. There are so many disreputable companies out there in this line of work. Firehouse has been an absolute godsend to my family. I actually will be using them again in the Fall/Winter months to move my stuff out of storage :) This is the type of company that you have in your permanent contacts list on your phone! You seriously will not be disappointed. If you are looking at different companies in the Metroplex to move you, please don't hesitate to call them.

Everything went very smoothly. They guys were right on time, were careful with everything, no major damages, were very friendly and professional.

I had a great experience. The guys were professional, friendly, and hard working. the same employees did both moves and remembered us and our stuff. The hourly rate was reasonable and I had no problem paying the guys because they worked so hard and so fast. They were always fair in how they did the bills, they took the time to explain everything. I was in frequent contact with Rose and Charlie by phone and email and I always felt that I had very personal service. There are always a few bumps and bruises in a move but there were really very few with these guys and nothing serious at all - they were very careful to treat everything extremely well. They were very good at following up to make sure everything was done how I liked it. We had one minor issue which was that there were some tree limbs damaged by the trucks that were not noticed by us or them until the next day. I had someone come and trim them and clear them out, and I had a check in the mail to reimburse me for the cost the very next day. So, I have no complaints. Highly recommended. I will be using them again for my next move and recommending them to my family.

Firehouse Movers are by far the best moving company I have EVER used! They called when they were on the way, and they were on time. The 3 guys that moved me were so nice and courteous....it was an absolute pleasure working with them. I will only use them in the future.

Would definitely use them again and we have! They moved us out of a temporary residence on July 20th and had to stop off and pick up items in storage and deliver them all to our home in CV. They were punctual, professional and worked at a good solid pace. No slackers in this bunch! No damage, good attitudes ... what more could one want? Contacted them about a week later to move a large sideboard I'd purchased off of Craigslist and they were wonderful about moving just one pc of furniture as well. Same experience --- on time and professional. Nikki was very helpful to work with too.

Three guys came to my house on time. They were very polite and efficient. Stopped at my house first to pickup a washer and dryer we were keeping for my daughter until she got into her new place. Came to her old apartment disassembled her bed and living room couch set. Loaded everything up into their trailer quickly. Got to her new place and found out it was actually in a lower level of an apartment complex build on the side of the hill. This made moving in a little more difficult. They took it all in stride and got everything unloaded and her bed and living room couch setup and she was ready to go! It took about an hour longer than the three hour estimate but the logistics of the new place (parking was an issue for the truck and trailer) made it take a little longer than estimated. I would highly recommend them.

They were on time, really quick, and went the extra mile to help set up furniture. They were very careful with our belongings.

It was a small move, but I was very happy with their professionalism, punctuality and care for my furniture. I am using them again in a couple of weeks for another small move. I would recommend them to others.

The moving crew was polite and very professional in all areas. This is the way all moving crews should be like.

They were great! They arrived on time and worked very quickly to get everything loaded. They followed me to the storage unit and very quickly unloaded everything.

They sent three guys and we were lucky to have the same three for the second part of the move. These guys were great and I would recommend them to anyone. They took great care with all our items and we had no damage to anything.They even got a large pool table into the game room in our new house. We did not think it was going to be possible because of a tight corner but they did it. It was a great experience.

Do budget more for your move than you expect. Allow at least a couple hours more than planned. I underestimated the amount of time it would take but they worked constantly,had to go up and down stairs and dismantle my large piece.

Have used them twice this month for a large move. Both times went well, nice, efficient movers.

From start to finish, this company did a great job for us. This was a small move (we are setting up a second house about 10 minutes from our existing location) that only involved moving about 10 items - mostly furniture. When I called to find out about their services, the person who answered (I must admit to forgetting her name) was courteous and efficient. We set up the entire move in the one phone call. The company called to confirm the move the night before and they showed up right on time. The movers were very nice, worked quickly and did everything I asked. Nothing was damaged in any way. We were very pleased, would use them again if we ever need to move again and would highly recommend this company.

I was very happy with them. They did a good job and I was very satisfied. I was going to have them move everything to my home but they were booked on that date. I would use them again.

Try to keep your boxes sorted by room. It makes the unpacking from their truck go smoother.

Office staff was friendly and helpful when I called to schedule the move. The 3 movers arrived on time, worked efficiently and effectively, were friendly and courteous.

I moved from a 2nd story townhome apt to another 2nd story townhome apt in the Plano area. These guys were fantastic & so was Nikki on the phone, very pleasant & helpful. The gentleman were professional, they moved very large pieces of furniture from Broyhill & took great care to take my son's bed apart & mine as well & put them back together as needed. I had also bought two VERY large pieces of furniture that I had left in the boxes (both over 250 pounds each) in my prior garage apt & they not only moved them for me, they took them out of the box & assembled the legs on one of the pieces that needed assembly. They did not nick or break anything. They did so much in 4 1/2 hours & were very kind & professional the entire time !!! I would not hesitate in hiring them again for any future moves, I would not think about going anywhere else !!! Great job & thank you !!!

They did an incredible job. They were very polite and friendly. They got the job done and they did an excellent job. They get paid by the hour so they could have slacked off and they didn't at all. They were running back and forth. I highly recommend them, and I would give them an A+. It was very worth what I paid. It was very reasonable for how much stuff I had and how careful they were.

I called Firehouse Movers, and spoke to "Nicki", who set us up for our day, and explained prices etc., very personable. She said that usually there are 3 guys that do the moves, but that since ours was such a small move, there might just be 2 men. Pleasant surprise,3 guys came to move us.. That made ALL the difference. It took them a lot less time. They were so nice. AND fast.. It started out pouring down rain at first, and I had visions of us still moving late that afternoon. But they came at about 7:30am-8:00, and were done by about 11:45 am. They didn't even take a break. We were very pleased with the care they took with our things. And the speed at which they moved. Hopefully, we won't need to move again foir a long while, but you never know........ IF we did have to move, we would call these guys again. They were hard workers.
