They arrived exactly on time, and gave exact estimates on what it would cost. When I added some other plumbing repairs in the house they also let me know the exact cost.

First I called Tidwell plumbing on the weekend they rearranged their schedule so they could be out first thing monday morning. We had a leak under the kitchen island this is in the center of the house with no adjacent walls. Two people came out one was Carl. They had to remove the old copper pipe that connected to one of our hot water heaters. They then had to fish a new PEX 20 foot pipe through the crawl space(living room) under the kitchen tile(in the slab) into the island. They connected it up and we were good to go. Of course this took about 3 hours or so. They also didn't make a mess and cleaned up after themselves.

On Friday, October 14, Carl came to our home (per appointment) and told us he could not repair our kitchen faucet, and that it would need to be replaced. He gave us the name of two reliable brands of faucets and told us to call Mike Tidwell Plumbing after purchasing the faucet. He did not charge for this visit, but told us it would cost $185 to change out the faucets. We purchased a new faucet at Home Depot. The following Monday, we phoned Mike Tidwell at 8:00 a.m. and were able to make an appointment for the same day. Carl and his assistant Amadeo came (on time) to replace our old faucet. Before they started, I asked Carl where I could go to buy a replacement for the corroded trim for our bathtub drain. After inspecting the tub, he said he had the part on his truck, and that it would cost $70 to install it. I agreed to the price and in about a half hour, both the faucet and drain trim had been replaced. Both Carl and Amadeo were professional and organized and kept their work areas clean. I also appreciated the fact that their names were plainly printed right on their shirts. I have not lived in the Fort Bend County area of Texas for very long, so I am not really sure if Mike Tidwell Plumbing prices are average or high for plumbers. I only know they did a great job and I would hire them again if needed.

It was my first time using Mike Tidwell Plumbing and they were great! They did the job quickly and efficiently, then had a look at a few other jobs I was considering hiring a plumber for (based on an inspection report for the house we just bought) and advised me whether the jobs really needed doing or not. They were knowledgable and easy to talk to. I will definitely use them again.

Very professional. Our plumber on this day was Carl. He showed up at the appointed time. He handed me his business card. The work was not complicated, but required an unusual part. which caused an unavoidable delay. Communication and reliability were fantastic. For example, he made a point of explaining the problem with just enough detail. He let me know that he would return the same day, and he did just that. Often when you call, Mike himself answers. But I have talked to multiple people at this company before this repair and since. Each time, I receive a warm and friendly response, like someone who has known us for many years. Our previous plumber moved out of state. We tried another plumber once, but that one seemed to be mostly interested in increasing his sales. This company's friendliness combined with good communication, reliable work, prompt service, and expertise means we now have a new plumber. We don't need to search further.

They did a great job! I won't have to worry about any new leaks behind the new tile installation and the bathroom looks brand new. They did everything in a very timely manner and worked around the other contractors with ease. The cost of the job was very reasonable. I will continue to recommend them to all my friends for any plumbing work they need.

I called when I noticed the leaking issue, and he was there within a couple of hours. He fixed the problem, answered questions, and threw me a freebie. I couldn't be happier with his service and his attitude.

They were just fine. The work was perfect. I had no problems at all with them. The prices are very reasonable. They call you back immediately. They come out in a very reasonable amount of time. I would use their services again in the future.

We have used Mike Tidwell Plumbing (Mike himself) on numerous occasions, and he continuously performs above our expectations. We needed a new water heater and Mike and his colleagues were out three days later with the permits in hand from the City of Sugar Land, installed the new water heater and disposed of the old one, left the area in immaculate condition, and when the Inspector from Sugar Land came to inspect the job, he told us that Mike and his company's reputation and work were outstanding, that he was the most cost-efficient plumber around, and that the job was perfectly done. We will continue to use Mike for our plumbing needs and are thrilled to recommend him to future customers!

My initial phone call was returned within 15 minutes, and Mr. Tidwell arrived 45 minutes later. Stoppage was at the P-trap and a new one had to be installed. This company is a find! His was the first of four companies to return my phone call and he is now our PLUMBER OF CHOICE! His work is guaranteed and he is very reasonably priced...this service call was the Sunday of New Year's weekend! We've already given his name to several friends and will continue to do so without hesitation.

He was great and conscientious. He did not feel safe to work around the old heater, as the rafters were weak so he extended the stand so that it is safe. I felt very good about the finished product. I called him again the next year to replace the other heater.
