There are a handful of professionals I have been calling on here in Sugar Land over the past 25 years. Mike Tidwell Plumbing is one of them. They do a great job...and have helped us with many projects over the years. They are prompt, well qualified, and do excellent work. Thanks to Mike and the whole crew!

Went very well. I explained the problem. They did an assessment and got to work. I used them after the big "freeze" to restore an outside faucet that I was told by a different plumbing company was a casualty when a pipe broke during the freeze. Mike Tidwell's crew was able to restore the faucet and I am sold on their team after that. I highly recommend them.

We have been using Mr Tidwell’s services for around 10 years now. He is great to work with and his crew is efficient and friendly. Most recently we had a drainage issue in the bathroom that wasn’t fixed properly the first time. The guys came back out a few days later to fully diagnose the issue and did not charge extra money. Great customer service.

As a result of the "freeze", I had a pipe break that had been fixed but resulted in an outside faucet no longer being operable. I also had an outside faucet that was bent and because of the clog decided to bundle these projects together. The technician who came out was very professional and friendly. I thought that I would not be able to use the outside faucet where the freezer pipe broke because of its tricky location (behind kitchen cabinetry). He told me he would be able to fix it. He thought it would require assistance from other technicians but he managed to do it all by himself. I was pleased with his help and thought the price though high, was fair given the complicated location of one of the faucets.

Called for service due to leak. The were very responsive and fixed the problem quickly. They have always provided great service and too quality work

Absolutely horrible experience. I had a kitchen faucet that was dripping off and on. I called this Company as was recommended to me by another contractor (who is also fired as of this writing). 2 guys came from Mike Tidwell and spent hardly 2 minutes. The guys were so unfit they could not even bend down to open/close the water supply. Their conclusion was the system that I had was a very old system and will break if they try to open. They asked me to call Delta and will come back and change the entire faucet for $225. They took a check for $95 for 2 minutes of doing absolutely nothing. I called Delta and sent them pictures, they diagnosed the issue accurately and sent me a replacement cartridge and faucet handle, FREE. I replaced the whole thing in less than 5 minutes. Seriously, what was I thinking when I called these guys? I should have gone to Delta first... a) This was not a $95 worth effort b) The employees were griping about how less they are paid by the owner. I didn't need to know any of that. c) I am not calling these guys ever again.

We called Mike on a Sunday night, to see if his company handled emergency calls. It doesn't, but Mike really helped us out. He talked us through a very temporary fix and provided the number of another company that might have a person on call. They did, and we were able to get things fixed. Mike called at 8:00 am the next morning to make sure we got everything taken care of. Such a nice guy, w/ great customer service that is frequently hard to find... Didn't use him this time, but definitely would in the future.

He was real professional, I haven't had any problems since then.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Mike, Blake, and crew. Hottest week of the year so far, and these guys did the attic work safely and efficiently.

The overall job is going to be almost $3000. The plumbing portion was only $700. They know what they're doing. Mike is a very experienced plumber. They came out and isolated the leak. They figured it out were it was pretty quickly. They were able to coordinate the work with the tile people because we had to have a bathtub ripped out and we'll have to have it put back. Something they could improve on is finding a way to fix a leak without ripping a wall out.

The $3000 was for the waivers and the new water heater units. They were just trustworthy and they know what they're doing. They guarantee their own work. I did some research on pricing and that was in the ballpark. You don't feel like you're being ripped off, you know the work is good, and he stands behind his work. I can't complain about anything.

Blake and Adan did an excellent job. They were prompt, professional, personable and knowledgeable. The drain blockages were tougher than normal, but they knew what to do and left the premises clean after the job was done. The price was good for the amount of work done. It's difficult to find this caliber of contractor nowadays.

.Left message at 7:30 and Mike Tidwell returned message promptly . Scheduled service call for 1:30 but called back and said they could come earlier. The two techs arrived by 10:30 and quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repair within the hour. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They did not try to upsell additional services and performed the most cost effective repair. They gave me the senior citizen discount as well. I was very satisfied and will definately use them again.

Mike Tidwell is our plumber and he does an absolutely fantastic job. I have recommend him to a lot of people.

I have used him for many years. He is great! He is very good at what he does and his prices are very reasonable.

Arrived on time. Blake was very professional and honest about all that I asked him to check. He also explained every step of the process to me.

I never met him in person, but talking to him on the phone he was very friendly and accommodating. I didn't get any sense that he was trying to take me for a ride, pricewise. He and his team did good work - everything looked nice, neat and well done. No problems since.

Mike's crew arrived on time, surveyed the problem, gave me an estimate, and started digging. They noticed the leak was from a city line, not mine. They were nice enough to call the city maintenance dept. and have them come out to survey the problem while they were still there. Very nice that I didn't have to go through the hassle of dealing with them myself. Very professional and looking out for the customer. Would highly recommend.

It couldn't have gone better. Mike discovered our water softener and quot;blew upand quot; and the stuff clogging the faucets was a combination of the gold beads and salt that had flowed through the pipes from the softener. He disconnected the softener, flushed the pipes and cleaned out the faucets. We have been using Mike's services for many, many years and have always been pleased with the work. He even came out on a Sunday when out toilet was overflowing and sewage was backing up in the bathtub. Mike is a winner.

WE have used Mike Tidwell for several years. The most recent visit was to install a new kitchen faucet. They arrived when scheduled, as always, and did a professional job, as always. In December 2013 he installed a new hot water heater. During that installation they discovered that the flue for the previous hot water heater had not been properly installed and that the heat was being dumped into our attic. Mike's crew crawled up in the attic and made everything right and also brought the installation up to code. Great job as usual. We have previously used Tidwell plumbing to install new faucets in Bathrooms, re-do the plumbing in the shower, commode installation, drain clearing, etc. You name it , they have done it for us. They just finished a major re-piping job for our daughter and her husband in Alief. That old galvanized pipes had gotten pin holes and Tidwell replaced the piping with a new flexible product. They also designed the work to do minimal cutting in the sheetrock, etc.

Arrived sooner than promised. Reasonable price

Job was performed on time, in a quality manner. This was my third time using Mike Tidwell Plumbing and I will continue to use them. Exceptional !!!

Prompt service was provided by a clean, courteous, professional, well trained and licensed two-man crew. The installers took great care to protect the property. They discovered the previous installation was not to code and corrected the deficiencies. Tidwell Plumbing was highly recommended by several residents who post on my subdivision's website, and I would also recommend them.
