They showed up promptly. Checked to be sure we had all the materials we needed for the job and the fixtures I had were proper for the installation. The entryway fixture they rewired so it could be controlled by the existing wall switch. They also made sure the areas were cleaned before they left. It only took them an hour to complete the job instead of stretching it out. After my last experience, it was so nice to work with professionals. I am EXTREMELY pleased.

First of all, this is the NICEST guy you'd ever want to meet, and it is obvious that he cares about his work. He's a thorough professional. We had to reschedule a couple of times because of schedule and weather problems (electricians should not work when it is storming and lightning outside) but he graciously offered to work on Saturday morning. He arrived and introduced himself and went right to work, replacing one switch, re-configuring another, and then testing a freezer circuit, and finally an outside lighting circuit. I think I got MORE than my value for the money. He was terrific! I would jump at this deal again!

Everything could not have done any better. They checked the wiring and made sure everything checked out and properly installed replacement fixtures. Very quick, efficient and professional.

I feel like I don't want to business with him at all. When I initially called him, he very rudely told me he doesn't set appointments over the phone and that i needed to log in online to email him. So I emailed him to try to set up an appointment, We went back and forth a couple of times and he tried to set up an appointment that wouldn't work for me. So I let him know that it would be much easier to speak to him over the phone instead of sending several emails back and forth. I also sent him 2 days during the week that would work for me, that I was completely free and he emailed me back and stated that those days were not within his working hours. I will not do business with him at all and will be getting someone else to do the job for me. He apparently only reads his email at night, and I spent 7 days going back and forth with him and got nowhere.

We were very surprised when Bill called and said he could do the work within 1 week of originally contacting him for an estimate. Most electricians were at a 2-3 week wait for services. Bill had a crew there to dig the trenches to run the electrical line from our existing panel to the garage where the 220 outlets were to be installed. The trench was dug on Friday lines placed and covered up in a very neat manner, we had very little clean up to do which was great. Bill showed up on Saturday with one helper and completed the job of installing the outlets and finishing up the wiring process. All workers were extremely friendly and professional. We are very pleased with the outcome of the job and would definitely use Expert Electric for any future electrical needs we have. Thank you Bill..

The Good: -Bill was prompt and profesional over the phone -He sent an invoice over paypall to make it easy to pay him -Bill arrived when he said -Bill dealt with the permitting office in my city The Bad - We paid for a 200 Amp panel install. Instead we got a shoddily done 150 amp (what we had before) panel install. - When he got here he had brought the wrong equipment for the job (exterior panel) and had to go to home depot to get the interior panel. Maybe he got the wrong thing again and that's why we still have a 150 amp panel? I don't know. - Bill left the work area a mess, cut a whole in the drywall significantly bigger than he needed and left it un-patched - Bill did not account for the cable coming in from my pool equipment and had to do an ugly patch job to get the cable to fit - Bill tried to up-sell me over $2500 for work I ended up doing myself in about 3 hours. - Bill did up-sell me an extra $800 for extras, namely permitting in my city and reconnecting the panel back to the meter. I don't think he realized either of those would be a factor, but once he told me about them I had no choice but to pay him the up-charge. I have no clue whether that was the true market cost. However, once we had him setup to do the work, we had no choice but to pay him. I now have to either re-do his work myself to get the right size service on the panel, or I have to call another electrician to correct his work. I will not call him, I do not think he is an ethical guy.

They did a great job. They came when they said they would, they got the work done in the time that was allowed and they were quick. I didn't realize they were going to send two people and I was only allowed a half the time. So it is like I bought an hour and I got a half an hour with two men and the guy said it was in the information I was given, but I didn't even remember that. It worked out okay, they did get it done but I wasn't just aware that they were going to do that.

They could not change a light on Foyer, too high!!

He was amazing. Located source of problem within a half hour of arriving. Gave us an estimate of future work and also advised us of less costly alternative. We would highly recommend Bill fir any work and will be contacting him to perform the work estimated. Bill is very personable.

I hired Bill because I thought electricians could install a digital thermostat and check on a ceiling fan that was not working properly but when talked to him he advised me this had to be done by AC person. So instead I had him install a ceiling fan. I paid $99 for $200 worth of service to get a ceiling fan installed instead.

Job was to hang our fancy fan, run electric and install controls. Also had some switches converted from toggle to Decora. This is a special fan and we wanted it mounted cleanly on a beam that crosses the great room in our 1978 Qual Valley home. They did a really great job and really quickly.

Bill is a great guy. Fun, on time, and professional. Will explain anything you want. In scheduling you must remember that he is a small business and sometimes his jobs run longer and affect his schedule. He did a good job; quickly and professionally; cleaned up well and was a pleasure to talk to while he worked. Had a good helper with him and they worked well together. I am hiring him back for some bigger jobs. In short great work, good price - what more could you ask for!

Provider was difficult to reach from the start. I figured he was busy, but, would make good on his word once we got something scheduled. He didn't. He seemed disinterested and indifferent about my business. He was not the kind of person I want to do business with.

Soon after I purchased it I called to set up an appointment and he explained that he was really busy. Understanding his situation I told him I was patient and could wait. He mentioned that he would call to reschedule and I also agreed to keep in touch. When I called back, months later, his first question was when did you purchase it. I told him the date and he said "Oh, too bad that has expired" in a sarcastic tone. I was not surprised by his sarcasm since other members have mentioned it. After his response I just hung up the phone and decided not to fight it until a Angie's List operator told me I could get my money back. Thank you Angie's list!

It was great! He did the work as promised, arrived on time, and did a quality job for a reasonable price. He did so well, in fact, that I plan on using him for future electrical issues.

We were satisfied with the service. I don't have anything bad to say about them. They came out when they said they would, they did what we asked them to do, and didn't charge anything extra. We are happy with their work.

Bill was scheduled to be at our townhome on Thursday for a panel replacement. He explained that the electricity would be turned off overnight. Since we are remodeling, we did not mind one night without power. Bill arrived on time on Thursday, but seemed rushed. The job was not done correctly and the City inspector did not pass the panel that evening. So, instead of being without electricity for one night, we were without electricity for four nights! When he realized that the job did not pass, he told us he would make all the corrections on Saturday. On Saturday, he texted to say that he would meet the inspector on Monday to fix the panel. Although that is not what transpired, the panel was fixed and finally passed. The delay in getting the panel done correctly caused a delay in our remodeling. In addition to the major delay, he did not explain the process of the various steps to get the power back on. Although he answered his phone and returned messages, he was very non chalant about understanding our situation and detailing who to call, when to call, etc. Overall, this all could have been handled better. In addition, we feel that we should have compensation for the lost time on our remodel job and the inconvenience.

He was fantastic; he was prompt to the minute. He did above and beyond! He was excellent.

They came in like they didn't know what they were doing. They were at my home for 10 minutes. They got 2 light fixtures working, but within 2-3 weeks, the light fixtures went off again so they didn't fix the problem.

It was a little tough getting them to come out. They did not show up on the first appointment, but they did arrive on the second appointment. They were able to complete the job very quickly once they arrived. Everything turned out fine and was great.

I purchased this to replace a short piece of plastic pipe carrying wires from the sprinkler control box. The piece is less than 2' and is outside the garage near the ground. I initially suggested 3 dates, but never received a reply. A month later, we agreed on another date, and I stayed home all day waiting for a call, an email, or a visit. No one showed up and no one contacted me. I contacted them again, and they replied that they did not come because it was raining. It would have been nice if they told me so I could leave. Plus it didn't rain until the afternoon. They came Thursday and did not want the job. I was advised to get a refund and contact a landscaper. Thanks, Larry

They were very accommodating because I need people to come and do work when my dog is at doggy play, that's Mondays and Thursdays. She is a golden retriever who needs a lot of exercise. So she plays all day those two days. They worked around my schedule with no problem. He was excellent. I have a light fixture. A couple of years ago I had someone come out and he purchased $250 of stuff that he said he needed in order for the lights to work. It stopped working and we were back to square one. But this person [unclear 03:30] he saw what the problem was right away and it had to do with the wiring. He put different colored caps corresponding to whatever color was up there. I liked him very much and so does my husband because the light is on. It's in the kitchen and so we can see. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I really do not know what an electrician would charge per hour but he was here an hour and a half or something. I dealt with him via email. He sent me an email that very day and I'm not one that looks at my email all day long. I see if I have this funny feeling and he cancelled because it was raining. There may have been a reason for that. He lived in a rainier district. That's how Houston is set up, it could rain in my area and not two miles away from us or even less or even if a small amount of rain occurred he may have thought he had to do some work outside, I don't know. Also, the day that he arrived once again I had this feeling like, "Check your emails" and I get a note from him saying, "We're coming earlier" and he was scheduled for 11 to 12. It turned out okay because I wake up at 5. But I told him, "You should have just called me. I had my telephone number listed." I didn't like that part. He was here when he said, the second time. He was not talking about things that were not pertinent to what he was here for.

That was good. I always think that I do not know if there is a way to make sure people realize that, when they say for like 2 hours of work, that you only get one hour of work, because they bring an electrician and somebody depend and watch the electrician. That is typical of the electrical deal. That is not just them but typical. If you say 2 hours, they are bringing an electrician and somebody to watch the electrician or have to help. And they are fine, and I knew and learned that maybe the hard way. I think something needs to make sure that people realize before they buy an electrical deal that if they say 2 hours, that is going to be one hour of electrician and helper. It was probably before the end of the deal. I do not remember when the deal expired, I just remember being toward the end of when the deal expired. I was happy with them because there have been dry cleaning extra, no. If I had anything else done, it would have been more. I just limited to what I needed to get it done. It is pricy to get extra or another hour. For the $49 was good.

It turned out fine. My wife said they were pleasant. They were on time.
