He hired my husband and never paid him for working with him.

Bill was excellent. He came out a little early and found the problem, isolated it, and made my lights work again. I was so excited to have kitchen lights again since I have not had them for 3 weeks. He provided exceptional service for an excellent price. I will be hiring him again in the future.

We have used Expert Electic several times. I usually do not write reviews, but the service was impeccable so wanted to share. They arrive on time and clean up their mess. The electrician, Bill who showed up to do our work explained everything to us and asked us if we had any questions. We have already referred Expert Electric to our neighbor, Dave who owns his own business and needed some electrical work done at this office. Dave called and thanked us for the referral. We felt very comfortable Bill was the ideal person for our electrical needs. When we need an electrician we will always call this company.

Did not go ahead with this service providor due to the original estimate not being reliable. Provider revised his original estimate to 170% of previous cost!!!) When asked why the increase in cost, he stated it was his standard rate. Why supply previous rate? (Scope of work was not revised.)

He and his assistant did a very good job. I am very pleased with the service he provided.

The prepaid coupon expired and the contractor told me that he would not honor it. I paid $99 for it and I then asked if he would some sort of discount, even $25 and he said no. He did not sound like he even wanted any type of work. I called Angie's list and they were nice enough to honor it towards another offer. That was very nice of them and that is why I recomend them to all my clients, friends and neighbors. I also believe that there reveiws are real and not paid for by a third party marketing firm like so many other services like this. Thanks Angie!

He was very nice, and very informative

It took a while before they came because I paid that through my credit card and it was not honored because my credit card company was ambivalent of the rip off. I had to straighten things out with my credit company first. But when they came, it took them over half a day to get the job done. I was very happy with their service. I will use them again. The only thing was they did not call me when they noticed that I was not using the big deal immediately after the purchase. It was Angie?s List who called me for a follow up which I like about Angie?s List. There was an additional charge beside the big deal. The deal was for a number of circuit breakers but I had some additional work done. I think I had to pay for two more circuits. It was not a simple job. They had to set up a lot of things and they have to put stuff together. They did very well. They did not leave a mess and they cleaned up after themselves. They came and saw before they started. They came and saw when the job was done. They took me to take a look at it.

Arrived at time quoted. Got right to work and wrapped up in est. time. Kept area clean and cleaned up any stray items. Yard left as clean as at the start.

They up-charged me for additional circuits, but that was fine. He gave me some information about the Civic policies. It helped keep the loss of electric to a minimum. I compared prices and they beat the competitor. They were on-time everyday.

everyhthing is ok, but take too long, reset appointment several times

The company has its ad saying the deal include exhaust fan replacement. But when I called the provider, he said the exhaust fan problem I should call a HVAC guy, and would pass this job. I have already found someone else for this job. Thanks,

It was okay. They did okay. I believe they were on time. They just came out to do the job. They came out the first day, they came the second day to make sure that it was okay until we have cancelled the service. Overall, I would say that they did an average job. I paid an additional charge. I had to clean up after. The work itself was okay but we did some things after the first install.

The electrician came and saw the defective lights under the counter and replaced them with fixtures I had previously obtained. He did a very good job for a reasonable price.

Not good, there was foul language used in my presence. He laughed at items I had stored. ( A raised toilet seat that I needed after a hip replacement surgery last year). I felt like I was dealing with High School Harry! The price was reasonable. The quality of the installation was very disappointing. The instructions required the electrician to install a metal plate behind the fixture which would allow them to use the enclosed screws to attach the light to the outside wall. However, they chose to use screws to attach the fixture to the wall. So now I get to see screws every time I look at the fixture. Also, I have a concern about it being a fire hazard! Also, his assistant dropped one of the screws that was necessary to add a part of the light to the fixture and did not replace it. They were not wearing a uniform, just jeans and an old t-shirt which was way too short when he lifted his hands to wipe the sweat from his face. I got the pleasure of seeing his very large belly.

I didnt end up using the deal because I decided not to do it. They came over and did an estimate for me. They were pretty responsive.

There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional costs beyond the price of the deal. The owner and his apprentice came out for the job. He had his apprentice do the work and it was of good quality. He cleaned up well after completion. We were happy with the service. The only reason I wouldn’t use this company again is because the owner made off-color remarks. However, I would hire his apprentice if he were to offer services on his own.

I would definitely use them again. I was very happy with all that was done. When they left I all my lights worked and my electric outlet outside was great for using my weed eater. At Christmas it will be so much easier to install my Christmas lights.

No direct contact. Got an email from them yesterday.

It went well. They did the job, got in and out and were very professional. They installed a light fixture with a switch. I’m now able to turn my light switches off and on by my iphone. They sent 2 techs to help me.

The guy was very rude and arrogant. We exchanged messages over Angies websites to set up appointment, and I wanted to talk to him and explain my requirement and he would never call me. And, when I called him, he wouldn't commit to the service date that we agreed before. I wanted him to set up Washer/Dryer electric outlets in my Garrage and electric box is 6-8 feet away. Before even coming to my house and looking at what I needed, he wanted $450 to finish the job. And when I asked him like why can't we use existing outlet and convert to multi. Then, he said "why are you calling me" and "Don't tell me how to do my job" etc. We had a heated argument over the phone, and finally told him that I would never hire him. Waste of my time.

I was not able to take advantage of the Big Deal that I purchased because a I had used a Big Deal from them last year. They were very prompt and did a good job the last time they were out to service my electrical issues. They advised me to contact Angie's List for my refund.
