Bill and his helper showed up promptly and proceeded to do the electrical work without hesitation.

Great experience! We have a cooktop in an older home that had begun to burn through the wiring nuts, and needed an expert opinion on how to best handle it. Called around noon, and they were here in less than an hour. Turns out our house wiring is not up to the job of powering a 40 amp cooktop, but they got it working until we can get a more permanent solution (gas stove!). Nice guys, courteous, and answered all our questions.

He worked efficiently, did everything we asked, and did a good job.

Arrived at 9 am and power was back on by 2 pm. Great job!!

He said he called me to cancel because of the weather, but it was bright and sunny where I was. There were scheduling problems and I am requesting a refund.

Bill identified the problem right over the phone and advised on how to fix it. It worked! Great attention to customer needs! Will be calling him for more serious issues if those ever arise.

I was very displeased with Expert Electric. There was a huge lack of customer service and sarcasm from the time of arrival. I had previously sent emails and called Bill with Expert Electric and he assured me he could take care of kitchen chandelier and new lighting in the study along with chandelier in the secondary bedroom. Upon arrival he stated that the study would take him all day and would be $600. He stated the recessed kitchen lighting would not be included in coupon as a box needed. He stated he could hand the one chandelier for 111 which was supposedly a $200 deal. This was a rip off. I got the work done from 3xm last Friday and spent 339 for four hours of work. I previously used them with Angie's list. This was a great deal!!

Very well. Most communication was via e-mail. Bill was clear on what needed to be done and quoted the pricing for the additional work up front. He was on time and the installation was completed in just a few hours. I strongly recommend them and wills use them again.

It went amazing. These guys (the owner and his helper) moved FAST. They did not try to sell me on any other work but kept to the $111 Deal. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They told me they were really out of my area, but came here anyway. Communication was excellent using the Angie's list message center. They were on time. The problem with the two overhead fixtures: bulbs with wattage too high - the fixtures were shutting down when they got too hot. They replaced bulbs with proper wattage and no more problems with turning off and then on again. I am very happy to have an outlet in the storage area under the stairs. There had been no power in there until now. Highly recommend this company.9/17/2013

Bill installed a new breaker box for us at our house. We purchased an Angie's list "Big Deal" for the work. Bill was prompt, he explained all the work throroughly and he finished the job in a very timely manner. I had a question after the install that I emailed him about on a Sunday afternoon, and he called me within an hour of me sending the email to try and help resolve the issue over the phone.

Bill, the electrician was on time. Gave estimate, started on time, wak was delayed after inspectoin due to new service from meter to building was not buried deep enough. Total of 10 days--No power for Labor Day holiday.

The service was fine. They did a great job.

Bill and his assistant arrived as scheduled. They immediately reviewed my electrical issue. They went out to the main panel box to verify all circuits were working. They then started checking the receptacles and then cut two small incisions into the sheetrock to locate the wiring and through a process of elimination located the bad wiring and replaced it with a new one. Then I showed Bill the problem I had with my light not coming on in my breakfast area. He determined that the painter apparently sorted the light when he was working around the fixture. Bill replaced the dimmer switch with a regular on/off switch.

The technician arrived on time and was on it right from the start. He did an awesome job installing the track lights in our game room.

Everything went perfect and I will have Bill back out at a later time once I get the rest of the outlets I need. I had some 3 way and a 4way switch setup that I wanted converted over to zwave home automation switches and outlets. Bill arrived, inspected the situation and got everything working. This wasn't as simple as just removing the old outlets and putting in the new ones, as I had already tried that. In addition to the 3way and 4 way setup, I had them install three zwave dimmers and three zwave electrical outlets. They did a great job of cleaning up when done and were professional and excellent to work with. Like I said I will have them out in the future to replace the rest of the switches.

After paying for a $99 Big Deal I was expecting to have a couple of issues resolved with lighting fixtures. I exchanged a couple of emails with the contractor stating what I needed: ceiling fan light goes off/on randomly and light fixture in pantry needs replacing often. After arrival he immediately tells me he cannot do anything about the ceiling fan light because it's attached to a "high" ceiling and he doesn't have a ladder that reaches that far. I'm stunned by this. He tells me I need to call an electrician that specializes in high ceilings. So I show him the light in the pantry and after testing he says there's nothing wrong. I tell him that we're regularly replacing light bulbs and he agrees that that is not normal. He offers to replace the fixture, but he would have to go to Home Depot to buy one and I would have to pay extra as that is not part of the big deal. At this point I'm quite unsatisfied with how this is going. He proceeds to tell me that others have purchased these Big Deals without realizing the limitations of what he can offer. Well if he had already had experience with not being able to reach a "high ceiling" light fixture I feel he should have been upfront about that in our first email exchange. He's the EXPERT as that's the title of his company. When I mentioned I had a ceiling fan light issue, he could have asked if I have a high ceiling. Isn't that due diligence on the part of a business owner? This appointment lasted all of 5 minutes and I've paid $99 for absolutely nothing. He didn't seem to feel bad or guilty for ripping me off. Just walked out. I have no clue as to whether he's a good electrician, but I don't intend to use him or recommend him. This is my first negative review.

Bill was very easy to deal with. From making the appointment, which he was extremely flexible on his times available, to showing up on time when scheduled. Once there, he and his helper were very porfessional, and identified the problem at once. He completed the repair and noting that this was a coupon, he said that there were no other charges. he had asked if there were any other electrical problems, but I had none at the time. I will happily reccomend his service as well as use him myself the next time I have an electrical issue.

Did the work promptly and without any problems. Two electricians came promptly at the agreed-upon time and seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. When I get my next project organized, plan to call them for an estimate and to do the work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out well. They were courteous, on time, and delivered in what it is that they were doing. They had some wonderful suggestions for follow up projects of which I was interested in. The price was very much in line with what my expectation was and in some of the market research I have done. All in all, they did a very good work. The fact that someone had actually done specifically what they said they were going to do speaks volumes in it itself. They came out within a month of purchasing the deal. It was not a result of their inaction or scheduling conflict. It was much of my timeliness with reaching out to them to schedule.

They arrived on time. They did the jobs quickly. They even went to Lowe's to purchase a new outside light fixture for me that had gone out between the time I scheduled them and the time they came to do the job. I will hire them again.
