Description of Work: This is an oriental rug that was picked up for hand washing on 10/17/11 and promised for delivery on 10/31/11. On Monday, 10/31, I received a call from this company saying that their technicians would like to keep the rug for another week because there was an area that was stiff and they wanted to restore it to its original condition. That would have scheduled the rug for delivery the week of 11/7/11. This company did not get back to me to schedule a delivery date. I called them this morning, 11/14/11 to find my rug, and Kevin told me he would have to check with the technician to see the status. The rug was ready, and now the earlies date I can get the rug delivered is Friday, 11/18 at 6PM!!! He said "we have gotten busy and this is the earliest delivery date available." I can appreciate the fact that the holidays are upcoming and folks want their carpets cleaned, but this carpet has been ready for a week and the fact that I had to chase it down is quite unsatisfactory. There are other carpet cleaning companies that are highly recommended as well, and this will be my first and last experience with Clean As A Whistle!

Description of Work: Cleaned 4 bedrooms & bath. Badly soiled with pet stains and ordor. I was advised that the stains and ordor might not come out. They were here a very short time-- maybe 30-40 minutes. The upstairs master "looked" very good but the ordor was worse than ever. I couldn't stand the smell so I decided to use my 10 yr. old Hoover carpet cleaner to see if I could remove the urine. I went over the bedroom and bath several times to extract more of the urine and when I emptied the tank the water was solid dark brown with urine residue. I don't think they tried as hard as they could have. I was very disappointed. Downstairs they made a dark stain in the bathroom which was not there previously and the threshold to the bedroom was badly stained.
