About us

Howard Partridge founded Clean as a Whistle in 1984. Partridge was in the restaurant business before entering the carpet cleaning industry. Being experienced in fine dining, he knew how to serve people. Partridge quickly realized that most carpet cleaning companies were not providing good service and did not seem to know about cleaning either. Additional contact name - Johann Deleon. THE OFFICE TEAM WAS WONDERFUL AND VERY RESPONSIVE. THEY WERE A BIT PRICEY, BUT LIVED UP TO THEIR REPUTATION (AND DIDN'T GIVE US ANY SURPRISES!). THEY WERE TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL, AND A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. WE ARE HAPPY TO SAY THAT NEITHER OUR CHILDREN OR PETS HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE CHEMICALS, AND THE CARPET DRIED AS QUICKLY AS THEY SAID IT WOULD. WE WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: THEY CAME TO THE HOUSE AND MEASURED THE AREA TO BE CLEANED (ABOUT 2000 SQ FT), IN ORDER TO GIVE US A PROPER COST ESTIMATE. WE LIKE THIS METHOD OF SERVICE AS WE HAVE BEEN 'SURPRISED'' IN THE PAST BY OTHER COMPANIES WHO CHARGE PER ROOM, AND FORGET TO MENTION THE EXTRAS! THE NEXT DAY, THE TEAM CAME IN AND VACUUMED, TREATED SPOTS ON THE CARPET, AND THEN GAVE IT A THOROUGH CLEANING. THEY PROVIDED US WITH SPOT CLEANING TIPS, AND LEFT US A BOTTLE OF THE SPOT CLEANER THEY RECOMMEND.

WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY MULTIPLE TIMES AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASE WITH THEIR WORK. THEY DO NOT USE PERFUMES AND THE CARPET DRIES VERY QUICKLY. THEY ARE ALWAYS PUNCTUAL AND CALL AHEAD TO CONFIRM WHEN THEY WILL BE ARRIVING. THE CARPET IS CLEANED THOROUGHLY.
