Went great! I was impressed with the technician Ray's expertise and knowledge and his ability to explain in detail to a non-technical person the way the system works (or is supposed to work), as he was cleaning and checking it all out.

Third quote after two others told us to replace both units. Dan took two hours looking at all of the issues we were having with humidity and air flow, and mildew. We were told by one company that we were having a carbon monoxide issue and not to run the heat at all. We were terrified. Dan brought his carbon monoxide detector up and showed us that was not the case. He explained that what the other company had told us about our furnace was normal and that both furnaces do the same thing. We had been told only one was a problem. He told us that even though our ac units were old, they are working fine right now, and we don't need to replace them yet. He said that we can clean and service our units and replace the ducts upstairs to solve our issues. He said no one can tell us when the units are going to give out. They could last 6 months or a couple more years. Dan and Roy showed up on time for the date of service and were very professional. Roy completed most of the work alone, and he stayed until 10pm that night just to get the job done. He came back the following Monday do check the outside units and said all looked good. Overall, we were very happy from beginning to end. Dan was very honest and answered all of our questions. Both Dan and Roy were very professional and great to work with.

They were on time. The work was good. They used a camera to go through the heater. It was a very thorough tune up.

Our 18 years old American Standard outdoor condenser capacitor broke down last October. We decided to spent about $300 to fix it then so we can have more time to do our research to find a right company to install a new condenser and evaporator coil during the winter time. We read through the Angies list and have four companies to give us an estimate. Although Air Stat estimate is not the lowest, their price is reasonable and I have confidence in their knowledge and workmanship. I can also talk or email directly with the owner Dan Gillis instead of through some sales representatives who sometimes cannot make any authorization until they get through with the owner or main office. Dan always reply my phone calls or emails promptly. On the day of installation, they arrived on time and finish the job efficiently and their workers are polite and hard working. I went up to the attic and saw that they left the area clean and had good workmanship for the installation. The weather is not warm enough for us to try out how efficient is the A/C yet but I am actually looking forward for this summer! So far we are very satisfy with Air Stat and we hope that they will be our A/C company for many years to come.

This was our second time using AirStat. We called them with an a/c problem and they fixed it quickly. Their pricing is very reasonable and they are always very friendly and courteous. I will definitely be using AirStat for our future a/c and heating needs. Really, just a pleasure to work with them!

There was a mixup with my originally scheduled appointment date which was quickly and satisfactorily resolved. Overall, the experience was a very good one.......the most thorough inspection I've ever seen performed. I would readily use Air Stat again and highly recommend them for inspection services.

Technician was prompt, did his work, answered my questions about the furnace efficiency and made suggestions for improving it. I did not go up into the attic so I did not see what he did specifically but there was a multi-point list of about 14 things that were included in the tuneup.

The technician arrived in a timely manner. He was courteous and professional. He gave our furnace system a thorough check up and tune up. No additional service was required, and he did not try to sell us new equipment or services that we did not need. I will call them again when we need the next system check.

Dan was very knowledgable and professional. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything in detail as he walked me through the entire heating system. He addressed all my concerns and and gave me several suggestions on improvements. In addition to the furnace, he stayed longer to answered some plumbing and other household service questions I had.

Before I ordered the Angie's List Big Deal coupon, I e-mailed Dan Gillis, the owner, to ensure I could use two coupons and that he was able to provide the service to my part of town, the Spring area. Even though it was the weekend, he responded promptly and committed that he'd be able to schedule me when he had other customers in the area, so his technician could make more than one service call nearby. Within a day or two he called and we were able to set an appointment. Because I had to leave work to meet the technician at my home, Dan was more than accommodating in terms of timing and was very flexible and wanted to ensure that it was convenient for me, even if it meant his technician wouldn't be scheduled with back-to-back appointments. The technician was prompt in arriving and seemed to be thorough in his inspection and explanation of what he found. I was more than satisfied with the service I was provided and will use Air Stat in the future.

Correctly diagnosed the problems, did the work quickly, and did only what needed to be done.

It went great. I called Daniel on Thursday afternoon, and he sent a very knowledgeable tech out first thing the next morning. Before he arrived, I got a call from Daniel telling me who and what to expect. After the tech diagnosed and thoroughly explained the problem, Daniel called with a quote. The tech was also very good about making suggestions of how to keep our system clean during the construction project we have in progress. The system is working again perfectly.

Dan worked to find the unit that best fit our needs and budget. The work team was quite careful to ensure that the work area was protected. Work was professional and well done. Workers were there after hours completing the work to ensure that we had airconditioning that night. The work site was kept clean and all trash was removed at the end of the job. The airconditioner improved the cooling in the house and because of higher efficiency lowered our electric bills this summer. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that we did not receive our warranty registration until September. We have already used this company again to repair a unit at my husband's work place.

Air Stat did both duct and AC work for us and we were very pleased with the work. We had gotten several estimates. We felt Air Stat's proposal was the most straight-forward and honest. Very easy to work with. Staff is professional and cleaned up everything when they were finished. We will definitely be using them in the future as our regular AC company.

Overall, the installation exceeded my expectations. Not only was the installation very professional, Dan and his crew took the time to explain what they were doing and why.

I got several estimates to completely replace an A/C unit, from companies both large and small. Although the bid was not the absolute lowest, I chose to go with Air Stat for several reasons. First and foremost, I liked dealing with the owner Dan Gillis instead of a salesman. He listened to my concerns and needs. Secondly, he was very knowledgeable and explained several options for our situation. He suggested solutions that no other company offered. Lastly, it was very obvious that he was interested in solving our cooling issues as opposed to just trying to sell us an A/C unit. Mr. Gillis got our job scheduled quickly and he and his crew worked until late in the night to complete the job. His unique solution for our situation has made this summer the most comfortable one we have experienced in years. We have been very pleased with the results.

Unfortunately, the first house fell through but we called Dan again when the next house popped up. The A/C units were original and needed to be replace and Dan provided us with an estimate so that we could negotiate with the sellers. We were on a tight time frame b/c our option period was coming to an end and Dan got us the estimate after completing another job that had run late into the night.

Airstat was very prompt in initial call return. They showed up very quickly. My downstairs A/C unit was out and Airstat provided a temporary unit until work could be completed. Replacement of the units was completed within four days. The only item that I would have changed about the service would be for Airstat to ensure all parts and resources were available before beginning the job. There was a two day delay in completion because resources and parts were not available. Overall Airstat did an excellent job and completed the work as promised. I would highly recommend these guys and will definitely use them for future service.

Dan Gillis and his employees at Air Stat were incredibly professional, prompt, and trustworthy. Both me and my property renter (an experienced professional) were impressed by Air Stat. They were very quick to respond, gave a clear estimate, then called to walk through the work following the job as there were a couple of things needed that weren't on the estimate. Dan wanted to clarify everything before expecting payment. Their pricing was also reasonable. I recommend them highly, and will use them again.
