We are a family owned and operated business. We strive to provide quality service, including punctuality, competitive pricing, and work area cleanliness. It is our goal to leave a work area cleaner than when we found it and to leave your home a place of comfort at an affordable price. We use only the highest quality parts and equipment on each job and we will not recommend an unnecessary repair or replacement. Our technicians will point out ways to save on your utility bills and extend the life of your unit. We provide a two year warranty on our work. Any replacement part, including full units, have their own manufacturers warranty. It is our goal to make our visit to your business or home, as pleasant as possible. Description of Work: Our air conditioner (which they installed last summer) was not working properly. We called on a Sunday evening and the call was returned within the hour. Mr. Gillis gave us some instructions to try to fix the problem ourselves, but when it didn't work, he came promptly the next morning to take care of it at no charge. He is knowledgeable and explains everything clearly. I highly recommend Air Stat.

Once again please understand that I am in the field almost all day long. I make my cell phone which is with me almost 24/7 available to every customer and request that they contact me on my cell phone. Everyone else other than a select few do not seem to have an issue with this. If you contact me by cell phone I can schedule your appointment right then and there. We had an appointment set and Ms. Naumann rescheduled at the last minute. I accommodated her at her convenience. Roy was at her home as planned and did exactly as was asked of him. The estimate was given and to his recollection and mine she was in a hurry to get to a 4:30 pm appointment and was going to call me once she was on the road. I never heard back from her. Then she posted a negative review and a comment on the Angie's List message board and reviews list after I had requested to contact me via cell phone. I just don't understand what the issue is with having a "real person to person" conversation over the phone. Especially when "Voice Text" messages get jumbled and the language gets misconstrued if the person does not proof read the text message before hitting the send button. Maybe I need to hire a full time "Social Media" & "Angie's List" response person so that I can increase my overhead and our pricing. I am assuming that our estimate was very reasonable seeing how the other companies that gave estimates were not asked to do the work. There are 24 hours in a day and I work an average of 12 to 14 of them. To all our our many loyal and new customers thanks for your patience and loyalty. I just can't seem to please everyone all the time.

Description of Work: I called yesterday afternoon complaining about A/C freezing up. I talked to Dan the owner of the company and he scheduled Roy to come and check our problem. We were thinking that it was probably the A/C coil but hoping for a leak. Dan scheduled Roy to be here at noon today. Dan call about 15 minutes before noon and said Roy was on his way. Roy found system very low on refrigerant causing it to freeze up. The system has an existing 4 ton plenum/coil with a 4 ton furnace and a 3 ton outdoor condenser. The system is mismatched which causes a bit of a humidity issue. They checked the evaporator coil thoroughly and could not find a leak in the coil. The particular plenum/coil is not a very well made coil at all which we had already been informed by a different company. The liquid line dryer outside at the condenser and the service valve were leaking. They replaced the liquid line dryer and repaired the leaking service valve as well. Pulled a vacuum on the system and recharged the system with refrigerant. Dan the owner of the company came out and explained in detail about what was going on and what we could expect in the future if more problem arose. Being two females and not knowing anything about a/c or heating he put our minds to ease. I am so pleased that it didn't cost what we expected and they more than met out expectations. If I ever need a a/c or heating company again, they will be the only one I trust! I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL!

I first called in the late evening...but despite being at a Christmas party Dan called me back within 20 minutes just as he said he would. We set up a time the next day for a service call. They were willing to work around my teaching schedule, so that I did not have to take any time off of work. Edgar , the service technician, was on time. He was very professional, helpful, and kind! He explained everything, and he also was willing to go above and beyond and even help me change an air filter. I was very pleased with the service from the start to finish. Dan talked with me afterwards to make sure everything went well & I was satisfied. I will definietly be a repeat customer...awesome service!

After the first cool morning of the year we tried to turn on our heater but it didn't work. We'd recently moved in to an older house over the summer, so we had Dan come out to straighten out the situation. He was able to figure out what the problem was and fix it quickly, and also gave us a good run down of our HVAC system in general, pointing out areas that could cause potential problems down the road. However, he was very reasonable and only recommended we fix the things that would really make a difference. He also gave us some good references to help out with some of the other problems he noted in our attic.

I prefer not to disclose the amount that I spent on the service. They were on time. They cleaned up after they completed their work. Their estimate was equal to what I ended up spending for the work. The work was done very well and very much to my satisfaction. I will use their services again in the future.

Totally professional. Worked was performed as agreed to, area was cleaner than when he got there. The cost was actually less than I had anticipated. Overall a very good job and I highly recommend Dan and Air Stat.
Description of Work: Dan did a combination of a number of services for me, including A/C maintenance, plumbing (he fixed the faucets in my master bath that were not flowing well and did some work on the faucet in my kitchen, did a minor master bath remodel which inclulded changing the main light fixture over the vanity, repairing some drywall (he did NOT cause any damage to the drywall, it was a hole in the drywall that the original fixture had covered up), sprackled and painted the entire area. He did the faucet flow repair without it being specifically on the list I had given him. Before he came, I barely had water from my bathroom faucets, after he left, then were like new! He left the area cleaner than when he got there. All in all, I couldn't have been happier with the work he performed.

Best referral I have ever gotten. You have found the last AC guy you will ever need. Dan answers his phone!!! Even if he is up in a hot attic he will answer it and call you right back. Sure, I might be able to beat his prices by 5-10%, but what a small price to pay to deal with a real professional that takes pride in his work...and I'm not even his Father. Seriously, he is punctual, personable, patient with all my questions and I have a lot of them. I've never had a job take more than 2 days even replacing my AC and ducts. I NEVER call anyone else. He stands by his work.

Air Stat Heating & Home showed up on time to do the repair work on my air conditioner. They drove a company truck with all the necessary tools and equipment to do the job. They provided good quality work at a reasonable price. I have also used the company in the past with good results and plan to do so in the future.
