Omar came and did not try to sell us anything. He performed the tune-up in a timely and professional manner. We certainly will use them again if we encounter any problems with our garage door in the future.

The spring on the builders original (8 year old!) installed door failed, jamming the door open. As it was late evening, I cut the wires, so the door could be closed overnight. I called Omar at TBG the following morning, and he had his technician Terrance Sutton with me within a couple of hours. Terrance quoted me a price for replacing the system with a much better product (external spring), and he completed the work within a few hours. He then showed me the damaged parts he had removed, and explained he had been in our community a number of times recently to undertake similar repairs. The price I paid was 50% less than another company quoted for the same work! So do i recommend TBG (and Terrance) - you bet I do!

Fine, garage door is in good shape. Had a nice discussion with the rep and he suggested I should be aware of several items that might need to be replaced in the future.

TBG couldn’t make it on first day as scheduled due to some delays but promptly called to reschedule to next day. The technician and office staff were very professional and called to confirm the time for next day, and arrived promptly. Edwin, the technician, was very helpful and did the tune-up and balancing of the door, and even offered maintenance tips. I will use their services again and recommend to others.

It went well. They were polite and respectful towards the other contractors on site. They tested and verified the door was working properly. They suggested and quoted me $150 to replace all the wheels with a ball-bearing version. They also advised me to put a clear lube in the interim as the potential issue with the rubber would most likely happen in summer. I do not feel as if they were pushy with the upsale, particularly since they accepted I would rather do it myself until I see what they are talking about to know what I wish to do. However, the technicians were not familiar with the promotion, but they took it in stride and had me shoe them why I owed them $7.25 and the Angie List # to verify the "deposit." They accepted card payment.

Omar called to let me know he was on his way. He was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions with friendliness. I let him know I would like to set up an ongoing tune-up schedule with Texas Best Garage Door Company.
