All the metal rollers were changed out for Teflon ones -- they're wonderful! Frayed cables were replaced with better ones. The door tension was adjusted. We can hardly hear the garage door going up/down now! It's like we have an entirely new door! They were the first to respond to the bid. Another company said they were coming--several times--but never showed up (Prime Garage Doors). Omar, of Texas Best Garage Door Co., came when he said he was and gave us a reasonable bid. He also came to do the work, when he said he was. He was very professional and did an outstanding job. Any other time we need work done on our garage door it will be TBG Co. that we call! Very happy with their work!

In the past, when I hire garage door guys off a coupon I get in the mail, I always end up paying an extremely high amount when very little is wrong. When my son closed the garage door and it hit a part of my SUV that cause the bottom of the door to break, I didn't want to take a chance on paying for an entirely new garage door for something that may be fixable so I consulted Angie's list. Omar was exceptionally honest and helpful. I called on a Friday night and he was at my house on Saturday morning, at the beginning of the 9-11 AM window he gave me (even though I live in Sugar Land and he was coming from Spring). He fixed my door for a reasonable price (as well as protecting my other door from allowing this to happen) and did not try to sell me something I didn't need. And he did it for the same price I have paid for some tune ups in the past. I definitely would recommend him and use him again.

They were scheduled to come install my garage door opener between 8 and 11. At 8 Omar texted me that he was running behind and could not come until 1pm. Ok, things happen no big deal. At 1 30 I began texting Omar of me was going to show up or not. He didn’t respond for 45 minutes, when he did his excuse was that his phone was charging. I am not sure why his phone charging has anything to do with him showing up to do the work. I had to find another company to do the job after wasting most of my day on no show Texas best garage doors.

I called five different garage door companies for a quote & left messages for four. None of the four returned my calls. TBG was the only company that answered my call & Cori worked w/us to accommodate our schedule for a day/time that worked best for us. From the initial call made to the company to the installation of our new doors, everything went very smoothly & quickly. Cori was able to get a technician out to give us a quote the day after we contacted TBG. Edwin arrived on time the next day, gave us a quote & scheduled the job to start w/in a couple of days later so my husband would be able to be home during the installation. Edwin was on time, explained everything, dismantled/removed our old doors/tracks & installed new doors/tracks/control pad & cleaned up the work area, all in one day. He was exceptionally professional, courteous & friendly. We are very happy w/the finished product, will not hesitate to use them again & highly recommend Texas Best Garage Door Co.

Repairman recommended the opener be replaced. Suggested a model with wifi that cost $499 for parts and labor. He might have made some kind of adjustment, but the door was operating the same after he left. Days later, it began working better.(?!) I replaced one remote. The opener currently works consistently if I'm fairly close to the door. Hoping it would operate quieter, I had him replace the rollers.

The guy came in and I showed him what was going on. He took a look at it. He was able to fix it within a short period of time. It was worked perfectly since he's fixed it.

Garage analysis was done and provided expertise on what measures needed to be taken in order to eliminate the malfunction of the garage door. Repairs have not been made as I am taking other bids.

Kevin arrived on time assessed damage gave me evaluation of cost of repairs on my 10yr old Genie model compared to a total replacement. Very considerate, polite and professional explaining all details of any really necessary repairs. Consulted with his supervisor and found a cost cutting measure to help me with the cost. Omar even came to the job and they completed it within a couple of hours. Very impressed and satisfied

It went great! The repairman even gave me tips, like storing pool chemicals in the garage leads to anything metal (include door runners) rusting.

Their repairman gave me some options, and we chose to replace the rollers with some long stemmed rollers that would not drop the door. Our garage has settled some through the years and the opening is slightly skewed. He fixed the door to make it much more stable on the track, and oiled and greased all the hinges and the big spring, and the door is perfect and quiet in its operation now. Very pleased.
