Owner and crew were very responsive and the crew did a very professional job well within the timeframe given by the owner. Crew covered the floors and other areas not being painted and cleaned up after the job was complete.

We are so pleased with the painting job! I would hire them again and hope to have them paint the inside of our house in the future. The manager was very detailed and gave an excellent written estimate so that we knew exactly what was going to be done to the house. Southern Painting is great about doing a lot of prep prior to painting, including replacing rotten boards, caulking etc. The 3 men crew were excellent about answering questions. They really seemed to care about our house looking great! What was wonderful about hiring Southern Painting was having a color consultant from Sherwin Williams come help me choose the correct colors for my home. It was all a very good experience.

The work was done in a timely and professional manner. The painters were on time every day and were not disruptive to the rest of the household. The quality of the work was excellent and I would use them again.

Went perfect could not ask for better service and end results. Each day the 5 man crew arrived at 8:30 am at the prescribed time. Worked until almost 6:00 pm each day or close to it. Worked 12 days including Saturdays. Overall job was done on times as promised when company was making their estimate. Clayton Kelly was extremely professional and covered all the details of the work to be performed. The 5 man crew who came everyday for the entire job were clean, courteous and worked a a team. This was a big job. I cannot imagine anyone else doing a better job. I won't address the cost, but as one once said "you get what you pay for" and we received perfect service, therefore we are 100 percent satisfied.

They did wonderful. They are excellent. They came to give me an estimate and was wonderful. When the crew came they were phenomenal. They did an excellent job. I was so impressed. I recommended them to a friend.

It went okay. I think I probably could have got a cheaper deal with Angie's List. I didn't get them from Angie's List, I got them from the Home & Garden show. They charged me $1700 to do one room, inside bathroom cupboards, doors and shelves and my kitchen. It was good. They did it to my satisfaction. I did have to have them come back because up top of the bedroom you could still see the brown paint that was before so they caulked it. It was to my satisfaction. I did see later that there was wallpaper on my wall that I didn't even know I had that somebody had painted over and nobody told me. It looks good and I was happy with it. The price just seemed outrageous. I didn't know Angie's List at that time and I saw like a $400 one on Angie's List. I didn't do any comparison shopping. I just needed it painted and they seemed like really nice people. They did respond. They came back, finished the job and it looks good.

It went very well. They did a good job. They were very professional. They did good quality work. They didn't fall short. I'd definitely recommend them.

Clayton and his crew were wonderful and it was a pleasure to work with them. The very first meeting to the end of the job, all was handled professionally. From the bid, to helping me with the HOA approval process, to the repairs and painting of the home, they made it an easy endeavor. I'm very happy with how my home looks now and the work they did was excellent!

Southern Painting responded quickly to our request for an estimate and set us up for a meeting with Clayton Kelly at our convenience. Clayton was punctual and very professional. He helped us choose the color that would look the nicest on our fireplace wall and the feature wall in the master bedroom. Quickly gave us the estimate and we agreed on the time to proceed with the job. The crew showed up on time and immediately began setting up and covering things up to begin painting. Clayton came along that morning with the crew to make sure everyone was on the same page as to what was to be painted. The job was finished later that afternoon and they cleaned up their tools and supplies and left me excess paint for touch ups later. Clayton stopped by the next day to check the results and he was please and so were we! Thank you Clayton for all your help and advice. My husband and I are thrilled with the results!!! We definitely will use them in the future.

The price was good and it is competitive. They were easy to work with. They pay attention to details. When I needed one of them to redo something, they didn't grumble and they just did it. They redid my kitchen. They repainted my kitchen cabinet because of stains of paint so there is an involvement of tough work. They repainted the walls and retouched it from stains of paint. It is all great.

Clayton stayed in contact with us throughout the process. He even stopped by to pick up the paint sample I had for the front door. He was very personable and easy to talk to. He answers all of your questions and addresses any concerns you may have. His team came fully prepared and all four members were courteous and professional at all times. We were concerned about the painting occurring on such a cold, overcast day, but we were assured it wouldn't be an issue. The paint is dry to the touch so I hope there are no unforeseeable issues down the line, but with their 3 year guarantee I have no concerns. I would most certainly recommend them.

Southern Painting did a fantastic job. After they had painted the dining room, the color that I had chosen (which had looked like a mid-tone green on the chip) actually looked like a bright pastel blue on the wall. I met with Southern Painting's designer, Ashley, and with her advice, we found the shade of green that we wanted. The head painter, Rene', was always respectful and professional. My husband and I are very pleased with the work that Southern Painting did inside our home, and we are going to use them when we stain the pergola.

Very good. They caulked and caulked - then painted. Had a problem with door to garage not closing after painting and they took care if it. Same with some semi rotten planks being replaced. All good and professional. Likely to use for any and all painting jobs.

They were good and did a good job. Their price was good and I felt they knew that they were talking about.

They were very punctual and detailed with their estimate. Their crews arrived in a timely fashion and gave the appearance of professionalism with matching shirts. Unfortunately none of that translated to a quality paint job. They masked off everything at my request which apparently meant they could be as sloppy as they wanted. We still have paint on our floor in and around corners where it was not adequately taped. They did not sand a single wood service prior to paint, and as you may know, if a service (especially one already covered in smooth paint) is not adequately prepped the new layer of paint will not stick. Now I have paint flaking off of doors in chunks, when I pointed this out to Clayton I was rebuffed saying something must have hit these spots (like inside the door jam? on the back of a bathroom door about 6' up? the side of a pullout drawer?) Simple, if you don't sand painted wood... new paint will eventually flake off. They left light fixtures hanging from the ceiling, left tape around my AC returns, did a terrible job cutting in edges and the ceiling, my daughters bathroom has random blue spots on the ceiling from getting out of hand with a roller, they got and LEFT paint all over the ceiling hardware of my light fixtures (pendent lights). All of the doors that were sprayed have runs, even though I made them paint them over. I've had homes painted 4 times and this is by far the worst of them. Bottom line this is a company that gives off a very professional and feel good vibe that has no clue how to prep and paint a home.

I was very pleased with the work and felt comfortable with the painters in my house.

Clayton Kelly came out to discuss the requirements and he walked around the house with us to see what needed to be done. Since this house is a full two story, we could point out some rotted wood but told him that we relied on his company to get on the roof, find and replace all of it. On the last day, the painters left without telling us they were done and did not do a walk around to confirm we were satisfied with the work performed. We walked around ourselves and had to use binoculars to see that there were still multiple items not done. We took pictures and Clayton came back to see the issues. The painter came back late one evening to fix the problems. He arrived late and worked past dark. We had to shine a flashlight on the roof so the painter could see where he was walking; very dangerous. Since it was dark, he never got around to replacing the rotted board. We contacted Clayton about this item; he never responded. We then escalated to the owner (Tim Kelly). He never responded to that contact. Bottom line - they walked away and never completed the job.

It was perfect, start to finish. Three years later it still looks great!

Very professional and efficient. Provided a very thorough, consistent, complete finish with a minimal punch list. Used appropriate finishes and high quality materials. Removed cover plates. Excellent follow up. Completed the few punch list items promptly and cheerfully including a few that were dubious. Provided complete attic stock even though a separate trip to the site was required to provide one of the products. Very knowledgeable, skilled and personable staff. Staff was responsive and all work was performed in a timely manner. Cost was quite reasonable considering the high quality of the work and the professionalism of the staff. It would be difficult to improve upon this job.

They did great work. It was an exceptional job! They could improve their service by getting back to me with an invoice. I just couldn't get an invoice after I paid for it!

We relocated from the East Coast and wanted the whole house (interior ceilings, trim & walls) painted before moving in. I contacted Southern Painting and received a prompt response. Clayton Kelly met with our realtor & walked through the house with me on the phone. I received a detailed quote and then was able to discuss ways to save. The house had wallpaper & different textures, that I wanted changed. Clayton walked through the house with his painting crew at the start of the job and then checked in at the end of the first day. I was able to reach him throughout the process and he was prompt with responding to questions. We put in all new flooring before the painting crew arrived. The crew protected our new flooring and our existing carpets. I also needed assistance with a color choice for our kitchen cabinets and he pointed me to his contact at Sherman Williams . They were able to give me guidance on color and paint finish to work with our existing moulding. The result is better than I expected. At the end of the job, I walked through the house with Clayton. A week later, I realized there was a small mistake we did not originally notice and Clayton sent his crew out promptly to fix it. The company is professional, reliable and I would not hesitate to recommend them and I already have.
