Southern Painting was outstanding. The workmanship was great and their workforce was very contentious. They were at/in our home for almost a month, and there was not one unpleasant incident with their workers. I would highly recommend Southern Painting, and definitely use them in the future.

The entire job (two coats of paint) was finished in three days with two painters. The furniture was moved and protected (covered). The brand new carpets were taped and covered, and not one drop of paint got on the floors or carpets. When the cabinets were sprayed, everything in the room was taped and covered with plastic to protect from overspray. Very professional. Everything looks great!

Southern Painting did a great job. They gave me a quote with a few options. We went with their recommendation. They were very flexible in working with our schedule and got everything done in a very professional manner. Liked the fact that they clean up every evening before they leave so the exterior is not cluttered and messy. They were not the cheapest quote we received but considering the flexibility in scheduling and the quality of the material they were to be using, it was reasonable. They included the painting of the garage doors and staining of the front door as well.

Garrett was involved in every step of the job. The glazing was difficult since we wanted it to match the original glazing on the other kitchen cabinets. It took a extra time and effort but the team did a beautiful job. They were always prompt, neat and courteous. I would highly recommend Southern Painting!

Great, crew were punctual each day. They were courteous and easy to work with, cleaned up their work area each day. They did a really great job on all of the painting. Kitchen cabinets look amazing!

Andy Cruz of Southern Painting gave me a quote for the work and answered all of my questions. The work took one full day. Southern Painting showed up on time, took down the front door, sanded it, painted it, and hung it back. Southern Painting also replaced the rotted wood and then primed and painted the new wood. The quality of work done was excellent. Southern Painting also responded quickly to my request for a small amount of paint in case I ever needed to do touch-ups on the front door. I highly recommend Southern Painting.

They did a really great job! Started on time every morning and worked through the day. We had a problem one day when dust from the bathroom work settled all over the adjacent bedroom, but after calling the manager, they cleaned it up and covered the furniture the next day. This is the second time we've used them and we continue to be pleased with the quality of the work they provide. We bought new fixtures for the bathroom when they were here and they put them up for us, even though that wasn't part of the job. Overall, very pleased with this experience.

Received quote for painting house, very high. Felt as if communication with estimator was not clear, so I would not care to proceed. Quality of work unknown because I will not be using them.

Southern Painting showed up on time everyday and the crew was polite and professional. They were responsive to all requests, and came back at our request to touch up a couple of areas. I don't think they are the cheapest painters around but as they did an excellent job, I consider Southern Painting to be good value.

Manager Cody Hardsteen indicated that the job would take only two or three days to complete since it was a relatively small job. Consequently, I scheduled delivery of a new washing machine and dryer at the end of the third day around 4 pm. We had been without these machines for about a week with remodeling and wanted them installed as soon as possible. One of the rooms they were painting was the upstairs laundry room. On the first day, the crew (2) power washed the exterior of the house and left for the day around 1:30 pm. I thought they could have started prep work on the inside but that was not the case. At the end of the 2nd day, I asked the foreman if they would still be finished on the 3rd day because it looked to me that they weren't that far along. He indicated yes. On the 3rd day, I paid very close attention as I was concerned that I may have to cancel delivery of my washer and dryer. After around 10 am, the crew consisted of only two painters, the foreman who was an extremely hard worker and another painter who spent more time on the telephone than painting. (I'm pretty sure he spent a lot of time on the phone the 2nd day but I didn't keep close track. I think that was why they were so far behind after the 2nd day.) Around 3 pm, I canceled delivery of the machines since my entry way was blocked by furniture the painters had moved in there and the stairs had very slick plastic on it to protect the carpet. Around 4 pm, I called Cody and informed him that the crew would not be finished today as promised and that I had to cancel delivery of my washing machine and dryer. I further indicated to him that I attributed it largely to this one painter being on the phone all day. He indicated that he was glad that I had informed him because this was the 2nd complaint on this painter for talking excessively on the phone at a job site in the past month. At around 5 pm, Cody showed up and we discussed the issue. I indicated that I was frustrated since the job was not completed as originally scheduled and that I had to reschedule delivery of my washing machine and dryer. (With the rescheduling, the machines will now be delivered one week later.) Cody’s blank stare and lack of any response really bothered me. He never apologized or asked how he could make the issue right. The next day, the telephone worker was replaced by a very hard worker. Ultimately, the job was completed around 4 pm. At that time, Cody came over to collect his check but never brought up any of my issues from the day before. After I gave him the check, I explained to him that I was bothered by his lack of response the day before. He indicated that he was so focused on the problem employee that he wasn’t thinking straight. He further stated that the employee no longer worked for the company. However, he still never apologized for the inconvenience the delay caused me as I had to stay at the house an extra day while the painters finished or for the inconvenience my family must go through without a washer and dryer for another week. As we concluded the conversation, he never shook my hand or said thank you or we really appreciate your business. I got the impression he thought my concerns weren’t justified. However, if they had finished on time, there wouldn’t have been any issues. The following day, the painters came back to pick-up their ladders that they had left at my place. Surprisingly, the painter (telephone man) that Cody had indicated was no longer working for the company was one of the painters who picked up the equipment. I don’t understand why Cody said he no longer worked for the company when he obviously still does. Without Honesty there is no TRUST. Overall, the quality of the work was good; however, they did not meet the original time frame as promised and the customer service was extremely poor.

There was a hole in our ceiling from a technician (not Southern Painting). They repaired the hole, fixed some Harvey water damage and painted the ceiling in most of the house. Andy was very polite and responsive. The crew was very polite and did a great job. They made sure to cover everything. Will call them in the future for other painting needs.

Quality was fair and workers were ontime and professional. The area manager (Andy Cruz) was very unprofessional and non-responsive. He took our only can of existing paint to match and never returned the 3/4 full can. Have made numerous inquiries and the answer was always "we have it and will drop it off". After 3 weeks of this, he finally admitted they lost it. It was a discontinued color from Lowe's, but he committed to having Lowes make us a gallon and drop off next day. It is going on 2 weeks and no paint or response. Would NOT recommend this company if this is the type of individuals they have representing their company.

Beautiful job. Efficiently done. Not a drop of paint anywhere. Seams are very good.

The result was great! They painted over oak cabinets in our kitchen and converted them to white. They were very professional and answered all my questions. When the job was over the manager came by to inspect the job and make sure we were satisfied. We would definitely use them again.

Superb job. Hands-on attention from the detailed estimate through completion. Email notification of the complete project sequence: preparatory steps we needed to take, paint selection, power washing, scraping and sanding, remarkable amount of caulking, selected wood replacement, installation of soffit vents, priming, painting, complete cleanup of of the site. We could not have been more pleased with the quality workmanship and professional performance in every phase. We will definitely use again.

They did a wonderful job. The estimate was fair, all my questions were answered, they showed up on time, were thorough in prepping each room, and painted each room to near perfection.

They did an excellent job, we liked the work so well that we hired them again in June to paint the ceilings and some interior walls in our house. Any minor issues we had were fixed ASAP. The owner, Clayton, was very hands on and personally involved in making sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would hire them again and recommend them to our friends.
