Shade Tree Arbor Care

We use them every year or so to keep the tree branches from touching our roof and to remove dead branches or open up /raise canopy on trees.

A gentleman from the company came out the day after I called for a quote. He provided me a quote on the spot and they can out later that day to trim a tree in the front yard and one in the backyard. The team of workers came out and worked fast and did a great job. I would highly recommend.

I called for an appointment to get a quote and Luis came out that same afternoon. Luis was punctual and very professional. I agreed to have the work performed and it was done the next day. The tree looks great and their clean-up was great. Other than a well-trimmed tree, I could hardly tell they had worked in my front yard. I will definitely use them again.

We scheduled for Monday but it rained so they rescheduled for Tuesday. I had to be away for the day but since the tree was in the front yard they offered to come while I was gone. I returned at the end of the day and, frankly, had forgotten that they were going to to the work that day. When my husband came home he didn't ask either. I woke up the next morning and looked out at the front yard and saw the patch where the tree had been removed. Other than a circle of bare dirt in the yard there was absolutely no debris or evidence of the workmen having been there. That is what I call an A+ cleanup! I have had trees removed in the past and there have been piles of sawdust, tree branches and wood debris left for me to cleanup. One company cracked the siding on the back of the garage and didn't even bother to show it to us! I will use Shade Tree Arbor Care the next time I have a tree issue and recommend them to friends.

We have used Shade Tree several times in the past for our home and a rental property. We are very happy with their quality and their service. Done quickly and they cleaned up everything including any debris that fell on our neighbor's property. Will use them again in the future. Their bid was much more reasonable than the other three bids we got this time. It always pays to shop and get bids and check references. In this case Shade Tree again was the best for the money.

This morning they returned to grind stump roots, smooth over ground. Make my yard ready for grass. The crew were very polite, industrious, friendly and wearing safety gear. (temperature 100degree) They ask about my satisfaction before giving me the bill. MORE COMPANIES SHOULD BE RAN LIKE ..... SHADETREE Wish I could give a higher grade this little ole lady will sleep better tonight.

Everything was done perfectly. It was neat and clean. You'd never know that there were two trees there. They cleaned everything up, hauled everything away. They were done in 4 hours.

It went great. We have used this company in the past and their service seems better than ever. They were able to come out and give an estimate same week I called and scheduled the work quickly after that. They had a crew of enough workers so that the work was completed within a few hours. And as mentioned above, they wore safety glasses and hardhats and appeared to work safely. Everything was neat and cleaned up afterwards. Luis Rodriguez is very nice and easy to work with.

I called their office at 2:10p and advised no one had shown up to provide the estimate and I must return to work. Their reply, "Maybe he's running late. Would you like to re-schedule?" I advised, "No. I wouldn't hire a company who doesn't show up on time nor has the courtesy to call and inform they are running late." I am extremely disappointed.

Luis had given us an estimate, and if I had been able to do the work the next day , I could have saved $200.. Be prepared to employ them immediately if it works for you. They, crew of 4, came at 8:00AM a few days later, and worked continuously until 5:00. It rained a bit and they continued working. The supervisor, Jonathan, got their lunch and they took a very short break. They worked so very hard!! Our big trees were 60 years old and 60 feet tall. It was a huge job. Of course, at first, the yard was a huge mess!! Jonathan was wonderful, he worked as hard as the others. Later , a 5th man and another truck came as we had so many stumps in the street. They did allow me to have several trash cans of the shredded tree material and a can of the saw dust from the stump grindings. When it was nearly over, they spent an our and half cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. They raked the sawdust and even spread it in nearby flower beds! The job was very expensive but not for all the work involved!! I would hire them again in a minute! Luis returned at the end of the day to be sure we were pleased! A side light- Jonathan showed us that our very old trees were hollow and dried out. He told me it is sad when they remove trees that are filled with water- that means they are alive! It shows he has compassion for the trees! What a great person!

Excellent! Everyone involved did a great job. The price was reasonable for all the work done and for the high quality of work delivered. They arrived on time. A key issue to me is this company carries full liability and workers' compensation insurance. I have used Shade Tree Arbor Care's services in the past and will continue to do so.

They did a great job from answering the phone when I called about an estimate , to showing up on time for the estimate to getting all the work done safely, professionally as advertised. Luis and his team were great. They showed up early with all the trucks and crew. I was nervous since we were taking down a few large trees. The large Willow was my main concern, about 70 feet tall or so, but the team did a very professional job. They cleaned up, did a little additional work for me before they left and I was a happy camper. Their price was competitive and will not hesitate bringing them back. They did what they promised to do, when they promised to do it , at a reasonable price and all done very professionally. A very good deal for both of us....

The initial visit to evaluate the job at my home was prompt and professional. However, the follow up with a quote never happened. I was never contacted again by the service representative and ended up using Ed Dolphin of Grandiflora Services LLC, who did a great job and followed through on his commitments.

Ask them for a physical address. You won't get more than a suite number which is really a PO box. They cut down a tree in our yard and slammed it against the house then into the ground so hard that they damaged our sprinkler system. I refused payment and they threatened to sue me. This is the second name this company has operated under. The old name was something like Green Tree.

Real well. They called me and told me they were going to be there. It went well. They were punctual and professional. And very knowledeable.

Their truck and grinder showed up an hour later and began the work which consisted of trimming a few branches overhanging my property from a neighbor's sweet gum tree, pulling up roots from that same tree which had grown above ground all the way to my foundation and cutting a 6" inch deep groove along the length of my driveway to cut through any underground roots. The third part of the job was cutting roots from another smaller tree in front of my house that had also gown above ground making it difficult to walk in that area, and also had grown close to the foundation. As an added free benefit. the guys cut off a 2-yr old 18' tall volunteer tree close to the side of the house, and also trimmed up a Magnolia tree in the front yard on one side to better match the other side. The entire job took the crew of five about two hours to complete and they did an excellent job of completing the work and cleaning up the mess. It was very nice of them to do the last two little jobs for free. I have always felt that I've gotten my money's worth with this company and would recommend them to anybody!

The first summer I left a couple of messages and they never called back. The second summer they did respond. A guy named Mike called back and said he would be looking for a tree that would work for us. I left several message and never heard back from him.

Shade Tree Arbor Care was very careful in removing the dead tree to make sure it didnt damage any other trees. They cleaned up all the debri and ground down the stump very well. They were very professional and knowledgeable.

The professionalism, price (hands down best fair price in town) and the way the job was handled was outstanding, Luis explained everything to me in detail and told me what they would do when they came out. Out on Friday---Done on Saturday. The job was done fantastically. I couldn't have been more pleased. I also had a tree removed on another property and it was handled on the same day too.

Everyone affiliated with Shade Tree was professional and courteous, from the initial call to set up the appointment to cleaning up the last twigs. I would definitely hire them again.

I contacted Shade Tree a few weeks ago to set up an evaluation of my tree problems with the idea that I wanted some trees removed and a root barrier system installed on one in the front yard. I was never contacted by them but thought that it might be due to an incorrect message or phone number that was given to the answering service. Gave it another go and set up an appointment for today between 12:00 and 2:00. I had the Geek Squad scheduled to come on the morning and thought the timing would be perfect. The man from Shade Tree arrived at about 1:30, however, the Geek Squad was just finishing up. He was mad and said he stood by the front door waiting for us to answer the door and that he had rung the door bell. I never saw him or heard the door bell which had worked fine a few hours earlier. If I had I would have answered sense I obviously cared enough to call twice to schedule a meeting and was at home. He then went out to his truck to get his phone and called me. When I answered I could tell he was mad, but had him come to the door anyway to show him my trees. When he came in he informed me what had happened convinced that I or a member of the Geek Squad had seen him and that we purposely ignored him. He further went on to say how busy he was and that he was in a big hurry. At that I finally figured out that it was hopeless to talk to him sense he didn't have the time or inclination to talk to me. At that he left still mad. I don't know if I was more insulted that he would think that I would go to all this trouble to meet with him and then ignore him or amazed that someone would think it in the first place.

Wasn't impressed with my contact. I called telling I received a card in the mail. I told the person who answered the phone, I had a sick sabal palm. She asked how tall. After I told her 5.5 - 6 ft, she said they don't work on shrubs to call a lawn service. Not bad, but so matter-a-fact, and did not ask could I use any their other services listed on the card. The former company I used to service all my trees, including the palm, went out of business due to death of the owner, therefore Shade Tree missed a bit of business.

Prompt with estimate, which was much less than 2 other bids for less number of trees to be removed. Showed up on time and completed work the same day. Cleaned up all debris and hauled away. I asked many other questions about my trees and shrubs and all questions were patiently answered. We are scheduling the trimming and general cleanup of our other trees, approx. 15. In addition, we have a couple of other trees needing removal and we will definitely call them for that.

The guy came out and he just look at the tree and said it was dead. The tree still had leaves on it so I wasn't sure if was dead or dying and could be revived. He didn't provide me with any facts or perform any tasks to inform me on how to know the difference he was only interested in replacing the tree for $1400. I hired someone else to come out that said the tree was in bad shape but not dead and they could try to revive it which may take up to a year or they could replace it for $350. This was much better than Shade Tree price of $1400 and better service. I will never use them or refer them.
