Ricardo responded promptly to our enquiry regarding a quote on a rear property patio. He listened to our plans and then made suggestions using photos and pictures to help us decide what we wanted to do. He gave us a quote and we set a date. He said he could do it within 2 days. He was patient and we didn't feel rushed into making a decision. He even suggested visiting the stone yard to check on the colour of the stone he had suggested which we did. Ricardo and his team arrived on time as agreed and immediately began removing grass and preparing for the installation. He kept in contact checking that all was going well and that we were happy with the progress. It did in fact take 2 days from start to finish! I cannot begin to tell you how happy and impressed (not to mention proud) of our new patio and this company. The patio actually turned out better that we imagined! The team left the garden looking as if they hadn't been there. Mercado Construction is a completely professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. company and we would definitely use them again.We highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work.

He does not provide the services I needed.

He was always prompt and very professional. I had several bids and his bid was very fair. They did exactly what I ask for. I had a large section of sidewalk removed, so I could have my patio poured. In the sidewalk was my children's hand print from 15 years earlier, they cut the section with hand prints out and incorporated in with the new back patio. When the job was complete the completely cleaned up the area. I would definatly use him again.

Mr. Mercado arrived with his workers at the time we arranged. They immediately went to work removing old stones and cutting out grass and the removed it all to their work trailer. The worksite was totally cleaned before they left. The concrete work was completed perfectly. Mr. Mercado was very considerate about the fact that I must use a cane. Along the pathway he put in additional pathways to the faucet and to the gate so that I could easily access them. Mr. Mercado is very professional and considerate. In a few years we will be doing additional work in our backyard and we will definitely call Mercado Construction.

Ricardo and his crew were the most professional and courteous contractors I have ever used. They were on time and did beautiful work. I invite anyone in the Alden Bridge area of the Woodlands to come by and look at their work. They not only added value to my home, but also function and beauty

Mr. Mercado did an excellent job of listening to my needs regarding replacing my worn out wooden deck with pavers and seating areas. He provided an easy to understand, detailed written estimate. He even gave me suggestions that not only saved me money but added to the beauty of the project. He stayed well within my budget and his written estimate. His crew was professional, courteous, friendly, and hardworking. They arrived when they said they would and made sure the work area was clean and uncluttered when they left at the end of the day. I am very pleased with my experience with Mercado Construction Company. Not only would I hire them again but also will definitely recommend them to others.

We'll let me tell you something! When he told me it would take two days to do the job I was trying to figure out how he was going to pull it off. He put four of his best guys on my yard and they worked extremely hard and there work was First Class. I am a Contractor my self and we talked about how word of mouth is the best referral we could ever receive. Ricardo seen some of my work as we'll and he new I was a perfectionist. I was working over 50 miles away when he called me and told me he was done, I told him that I would not be home for at least an hour and I told him that my wife will right you out a check and thanked him for a great job. When I pulled through the gates I noticed his truck in front of my house. Ricardo wanted to wait for me to make sure I was happy with the job even though my wife had already paid him. Again, First Class. Me and my wife are already planing on having you back to help us with the front yard. Thanks again for a fantastic job.

I couldn't have asked more in a business transaction. Ricardo came through on everything he promised and more. Probably one of the best business transactions from start to finish I have ever been a part of. Ricardo was extremely responsive and you can tell he genuinely cared about delivering a quality end result. That was so refreshing because now a days not too many contractors are genuine and authentic. I highly recommend Ricardo and will definitely use him again in the future when needed.

This is the second job that we've had Ricardo handle for us, and once again we are very, very pleased with the quality of work. He is such a pleasure to work with. We did have to wait just a little to get on the schedule, as he seems to be very popular .... but well worth the wait. We trust him and knew that the finished product will be an excellent one.

I am very impressed with Mr. Mercado and his staff. The stone mailbox is beautiful. Given all the additional customizations my wife wanted after the job began, I fully expected Mr. Mercado to raise the final price -- but he didn't increase it one penny, even though it would have been appropriate. He and his staff took great pains to clean up the work site and leave it better than they found it. Completely on their own initiative, they even came back the next day to pressure wash it to get the dust off -- even though that was not part of the agreement. When Mr. Mercado first quoted a price, I thought it seemed a little high. Now that he has completed the job, it seems like a huge bargain. And he was very courteous, professional, and patient throughout the process.

Ricardo met us at the stone yard so we could pick out the exact paver design we wanted. He was very good at making suggestions for our specific needs i.e. color, matching existing structures etc. A date was set for the job to be done, however, later, at our request Ricardo modified his schedule to accommodate our Spring Break which we really appreciated. The job took 2 days. He arrived with his crew on time. The guys worked very hard and cleaned up nicely. We ordered extra pavers, which Ricardo did not charge us for. Also, he threw in some landscaping rocks for one of our palm trees next to the patio! They did a beautiful job and tied in the new paver patio to the existing concrete patio perfectly. Ricardo is professional and knowledgeable. He was very reassuring regarding the warranty for his work and the pavers if any problems arise. Our new patio is beautiful! (We got only one other estimate from another company which was over $1000 more) .

Contractor arrived promptly to review the job, and provided an estimate a couple of days later which was acceptable. They showed up on the agreed date and did most of the work. A few odds and ends were handled a couple of days later. They actually touched up a couple of spots that weren't on the original estimate, for free. Their work was very professional, and the relayed sections look just like the untouched sections. Everything is nice and even, and matches perfectly.

Outstanding job! Very professional interaction throughout the entire process from initial estimate through completion of project. Ricardo was very easy to work with and always seemed to have my interests/concerns at the top of his list. The crew were always on time, polite and meticulous with their work. The results completely met my (high) expectations and I am now having Mercado Construction estimate another job for me. Oh I should mention I did get estimates from two other contractors but neither of them seemed to have the same level of experience or knowledge working on patios and walkways.

Ricardo was extremely professional, courteous, informed and organized. He met with us too many times to count to plan and make sure he was doing exactly what we wanted. His crew was extremely hard working and very skilled. Ricardo provided us with our dream patio and he checked morning and evening to make sure we were satisfied with the work being done. We constantly get asked for his number because our friends are so impressed with his work. We have created a life long relationship with Mercado construction and will use him for all future outdoor projects. We could not be more pleased with the work.

Mr. Mercado came to my house the 2nd week of November to discuss what I wanted done and provide an estimate for the services. He showed me some photos of different paver stone options and was able to send me an e-mail detailing the quote the next day. He explained that he was booked for the next couple of weeks, and estimated that he could start on December 6. Due to weather, Mr. Mercado called me after Thanksgiving to tell me that he would not be able to start until December 9. On Friday, December 6, Mr. Mercado called me to ask if they could start on Saturday due to the expected rain on Monday, so that they could have the job completed for me by the next Tuesday. Mr. Mercado showed up Saturday morning at the appointment time and confirmed the work that was to be done, drawing the outline of the patio and placement of the fire pit for me to approve. His crew began work and were able to complete the job by Tuesday December 10 as was previously discussed. The patio looks great, it is exactly what I asked Mr. Mercado to build for me. His crew did a fantastic job. If I need any similar work in the future, Mr. Mercado will be the first person that I contact.

I am planning to go with them after I get the funds together to do it.

We are on the books to begin in mid October, but so far Mr. Mercado provided the fairest estimate, has been completely honest and professional and has kept me up to date on scheduling updates due to the recent rain. We met with him at the stone yard this weekend and picked out some beautiful flagstone for our patio. Our pergola is larger than average and we need a city permit and he has been very responsive to the information I needed and even offered to get the permit himself. We are looking forward to the final product, so far from his professionalism, honestly, and the pictures of his past projects has been exceptional.

The process was extremely smooth. Forms set with sand base and rebar. Side walk pour and patio took six hours. Returned three days later and cleaned up everything. My yard now being reformed in great landscaping.

Her was on time and explained all the work. Unfortunately i have a time constraint and he is booked solid till mid September. But he told me to give hima call next wekk to see if his schedule has changed.

Ricardo responded to our request for an estimate quickly and after talking with him for an hour we were convinced he was very experienced in the type of project we were planning. Without hesitation he provided a detailed description of how he would complete the project we had described to him. He provided pictures of previous projects and gave us local references where we could see examples of his work. An estimate was prepared and provided before he departed. He followed up with a formal written estimate via email within a few hours which correctly incorporated the details discussed during his visit. We then arranged a viewing of a project completed by Ricardo that was nearby in our neighborhood and were very impressed with the quality of his workmanship. Once we made the decision to use Ricardo for our project we met with him on location at the flagstone yard to make our selection. Ricardo and his crew arrived as agreed and he went over his plan once again to make certain we understood all details. All questions were answered and the process of removing the existing patio area began. The crew was very careful and went the extra mile in extreme heat to do what was necessary to protect the surrounding area. These guys were great. The form work went in on the end of day one and the concrete truck was here before noon on the second day. The process of cutting and placing the stone began and in the end we have a beautiful patio that we will enjoy for many years to come. The project was completed within the planned timeframe. Ricardo and his crew went above and beyond to make sure the cleanup was done properly. He waited one day and then returned to power wash the stone and house siding to make sure all dust from the process was cleaned. Ricardo is truly a gentleman and a pleasure to visit with. He completed all work down to the last detail and some thoughtful extras for the quoted price. No added costs. I would use him again and certainly recommend his work to anyone who is looking for high quality concrete and stone work. His pricing is competitive and he cares about his results. Give Mercado Construction a try. You won't find any better.

Ricardo and his crew did a fantastic job building our landscaping beds. They were able to start the job a few days earlier than scheduled. I asked to incorporate a few additional areas/tasks which they were able accommodate me on. They finished the job on time. They cleaned everything up afterwards. And best of all ...the beds look great!! I highly recommend Mercado Construction.

I had bought some pavers and was going to install a patio myself but couldnt do it so Ricardo saved the day! He worked with me to get the job done and my patio looks great! Even though my job was small he was happy to help me. Thank you.

An excellent experience in every respect. Ricardo was very attentive to my needs and requests when I described what I wanted him to do. His estimate was prepared in a timely manner and his design was well thought out and incorporated everything I asked him for. He and his crew arrived on time on the scheduled day, and they worked diligently for four days to complete the project. They cleaned up the area each day before they left. Ricardo worked right along side his crew, doing everything from the most mundane and labor-intensive digging to the more skilled laying of the pavers and stacking stones. They spent a great deal of time doing the necessary preparation and foundation work, which made the finished product outstanding. Ricardo checked in with me each day to let me know when the crew arrived, and periodically called me outside to show me important aspects of the job as it progressed. I love the finished product, and can't say enough good things about Ricardo?s design. I am extremely pleased with everything about this project. It was worth every penny I spent. I highly recommend Ricardo and his crew.
