We had a good experience with them. The were a good company. I have a service contract with another company but I would use them if I didnt have a service contract. I would call them back.

Their price was competitive with what everyone else charges. There are like 13 houses in the cul-de-sac, and everybody used to us Hal. It was a cul-de-sac thing. The interaction with them was good, and the work that they did turned out good.

The work turned out great, absolutely wonderful. I was in dire need of someone to fix my unit and I was right in the middle of trying to pick up my grandchildren from school because they live next door to me. I did not feel uncomfortable leaving the person who came out in my home and when I got back they had it fixed. No problem whatsoever and it was very reasonable. The service was great and the gentleman was quiet. He was very, very nice and very trustworthy. I called and they were out right away. I would absolutely call them back again. It was really nice to have somebody.

Wonderful, excellent! They are the ones that installed it and they've always done excellent work and we've never had any problems or anything so, I would highly recommend them.

I carry a summer and winter check up on air conditioner and furnace. He sold the company a couple of years ago, but they still carry the same name. We have had some good experience with them, and some not so good experiences with them. We had some problems with some of the workmanship, and the new owner went to great lengths to fix it. So, they were very good with that point of view, but some of the men who come out are very good, and some are not so good. They were servicing the house when we bought it, and we have just continued using them. I have never gone out on a competitive basis, since they know the house, I have continued with them. They have been fairly prompt when I have had problems.

They have been my AC people for 20 years. They are dependable, they are honest, they have proven themselves over and over. They tended to 4 different units in the other house, and so I used to see them on a regular basis. They taught me what to do before I call them. As the years went by, they taught me the things I could do, to keep me having to call them. I hadn't called them in two years, but when I called them, they remembered me.I can get something cheaper, but I tried that, and was not happy, so I went back to Watson. Their price is on the higher end. They sell a 10 year warranty, and that is a great warranty, and it stays with the house, so when I sold the house, the new buyers got the warranty. It is more expensive, but it is worth it in the long run. I have always had very good response from the. The company doesn't seem to have changed any since I started with them in the beginning. Whoever is managing it, has maintained the brand.

That has been great. It has worked out really good. They are punctual, knowledgeable and proficient in doing the work that we want. They come in to check the air conditioner before it is turned on and then during the winter, they would come out and check the heater to make sure that it is in an affable state. They charge us $125 for a year. We would definitely use them again in the future. They are the only people that I call.

I have had good experience with Hal Watson. I have been happy. All the follow up work they have done is under warranty. It was a great experience. The cost was covered by warranty. I have been very pleased with them.

I did not have a good experience with them. They were at my house for the second time last week, because the first time they came in, they did a bad job. They didn't do what they said they were going to do. I am getting ready to change air conditioning companies. I have a maintenance contract with them. He only took half an hour, which I thought was unusual. I asked him specific questions like if he hosed down the air conditioning units, and he said yes he did. I asked him if he had checked the fan to see if it was leaking and he said he did. He was gone half an hour, and I looked outside my kitchen window and it was still leaking. I went outside to look at my air conditioning unit, and he said he hosed it down, but my hoses were locked in the garage, so he never hosed it down, and there was not water on the ground, and it didn't leak at the bottom of the unit, so he didn't do any of those things. I spoke to the manager, and they came out the next day. That was okay, but I had to take time off work. The price was reasonable, and it was covered under my maintenance contract.

The experience has been very good. They have done some other work for us too. They had installed some dampers where you can control the flow of your ducts, and so, they are very knowledgeable. They know the HVAC business very well. They are very honest. I got a second opinion when we replaced the outside unit, because I thought it was low on freon, and I wanted to make sure that was truly the need, and sure enough that was true. They are very trust worthy, and they don't create problems just to make money. Their office staff is extremely professional, but the actual work people don't wear uniform, and they don't represent the company very well. My wife is alone at home the whole day, and they show up in jeans, and their truck is not marked, so she doesn't like that. They need to wear at least a shirt saying Watson Heating. They need to have that.

They were fine but there was some confusion regarding the filter. They were recommended by a talk show host that we like so we tried them but we weren't impressed. I thought they were going to replace the filter for us as a part of the price. It turned out that they didn't and they still charged the same amount.

They charged me a couple of hundred dollars. That was the only time I used them. I asked the service man if he thought I needed a new air conditioning unit as well, because it was maybe getting to be about 10 years. He said I had a high-end unit and I would not get anything more efficient than what I already had. So I appreciated him not trying to sell me something I didn't need. What made me choose them was that the original owner was a friend of my daughter's. I've had no issues with the furnace since they've done the repairs.

They responded when another company couldn't. They showed up quickly and they took care of the problem. They also gave us some advice that wasn't necessarily going to cost us money; they weren't trying to upsell us. The people who installed the air conditioning system couldn't make it so I was wishing I had used them instead of those people.

The experience was fine that is why I keep calling them back. They were just on time and they fixed the problem. The quality of their work was good.

They've been good. They were prompt, professional and seemed good. They explained to me what happened and what was wrong and they didn't try to go over board to try and sell me anything else. They offered me a discount. If I had bought their annual check-up they reduced the service call at that time. So I bought it. They're good. I've been using Hal Watson for 20 years, because for the builder they installed the system. I've called some other people off and on here, but I've always gone back to Hal Watson, even though they're not the same people any more. They've just been around and they're reliable.

Hal Watson is our air conditioning service. They've always been pretty good. They notify me when it's time most of the time and if we need their service, they're there. It's been pretty good through the years. It turned out well. The price is worth it. There are two visits and they make sure that everything is running properly. I am going to use them again.

I love them. I like the service, always on time. The service persons are always very polite, very nice and they're usually early. They're never late. They were done in 40 minutes and very tidy, and they didn't leave a mess. That's the one I used. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Overall very pleased with the service. They were quick to respond, pleasant, courteous, answered all my questions and provided information I needed to make informed decisions, and did not make me feel unimportant because I was a first-time customer. I plan on becoming a long-term customer.

The guy that came out had no idea what to do and just made it worse. I would not recommend Hal Watson Heating and Air. He simply did not know what to do. Things may have changed since then, they may have gotten better about what they do but I would not hire them based on that event.

They were well. If nothing is standing, they will call out. They are very professional. Overall, they have an A.

Jonathan did a thorough job checking out the systems. He pointed out a possible bearing problem on one of the fan motors which I was already aware of and offered options.

I have used Hal Watson several times & have been very happy with them, so when the furnace failed to start I called & they were out to look at it the next day. After deciding that I did not wan to repair a 24 year old furnace they had a quote in my hands the next morning & after I accepted the quote they were out to install it the next day. Upon arrival they got right to work putting down tarps to protect the carpeting & hardwood floors. They removed the old furnace & took it outside without damaging anything. The new furnace was then installed & the gas line & the flue were checked for code compliance & updated as needed. As usual I am very satisfied with Hal Watson.

It took a few days for the company to get the needed equipment ordered and install the unit, but in all fairness, this occurred during a very hot spell and after a power surge that affected many air conditioners in the area, so they were extremely busy. We've used Hal Watson for years and have had no complaints.

Jason Allen with Hal Watson prepared a design solution and proposal to my A/C equipment problems. Problem 1: R22 Evaporator Coil Failure (Replacement?) Initially, I had considered a replacement of the R22 Evaporator, but a week of 88F temperature in the house changes a man. So I made the expensive decision to replace all R22 equipment. After some valuable input from Jason and his evaluation, my decision enabled flexibility in the limited attic space to configure plenums and new routing of supply and return lines. Problem 2: Sweating at night and wet sheets - I indicated to Jason my concerns with hot and cold zones throughout my house. In our master bedroom we frequently woke up at night hot and with sweat on the sheets. This happens with my children's rooms as well on the 2nd floor. Since we all sleep with our doors closed, there was considerable air flow restriction. It was pointed out that each bedroom did not have a return air vent and could only return air under the door to the nearby return air intake. The suggested solution was installation of small return air intakes in each bedroom. Problem solved, so far after one week everyone is comfortable and happy through a good nights sleep and we have comfortable air circulation. It did take some relearning to find a new temperature level. Problem 3: Building Contractor Design Flaw The Builder's original A/C seemed to never stop running although we set the thermostat at a conservatively warm 78F. Even at nighttime the units kept cycling every two minutes or so. I was surprised because these old systems were both 3 Ton Trane XE1200 Units, which I believed to be better than most Builder installed units. When these old units where relatively new, we found the master bedroom changed very little in desired cooling temperature and then only for short duration. The supply air in the family room is just outside our master bedroom, the family room was cooling but due to both proximity of thermostat and the return air intake to the master bedroom; problems were unending Even with all bedroom doors open and in the midst of the hottest hours of the day, the 3 Ton 1st floor unit ran almost non stop. Allen took dimensions of the lower floor and determined that a 4 ton unit would better serve the heat load. Problem solved. Allen and I discussed the advantages of two-stage compressors on the XR16 in the new installation. I am at home all day long and so far I've noticed that these units run very quiet. The temperature throughout the house is comfortable and consistent all day long without hearing having to hear units turn of and on. When the units do turn on it is a the reduced load of the secondary-stage of the compressor which should provide for greater energy efficiency over the life of the unit. I am very happy with Jason's professional services and sales design efforts, also the very professional installers on the job (Anthony & Hosea + helper). The attention to detail, willingness to explain questions, and coming to the job ready to work each day provided for high praise.
