Alan listened to my efforts to correct the problem. He thoroughly checked all the lines as well as the ice maker itself. He quickly realized that a section of the line feeding into the ice maker had become blocked when water froze in the line. He disassembled the line and removed the connecting section that feeds into the ice maker, ran warm water over the build up of ice then reassembled the line. He stayed to make sure water would run through the line and the ice maker would begin filling with water. Alan was very friendly and I highly recommend his appliance repair service to everyone.

He is just great. I was very pleased that he took $50 off the price, and was not expecting it. He is very thorough in his work, and was very intent on solving our problem. Once he figured out what was going on, he quickly fixed it.

Oven was 17 years old. New control no longer available. Sent out old control for rebuild. Installed rebuilt control Has been fine for over a year. Completely satisfied.

We've been so very happy with the service provided by Appliance Rescue Service. He was out to our house a few times over the course of several months because our part was on back order. He really knows his stuff and is very helpful. The only downside is that he's so good that he's really busy. Rarely can he come out immediately to look at something. Most of the time he's worth the wait for us though!

Came on time, did a great job.

Simple e-mail exchange. After leaving a message, he e-mailed back quickly. Turned out that a switch needed to be turned on that someone had mistakenly turned off. No need to for him to come out.

Our clothes dryer seemed to be emitting the odor of natural gas. The owner of Appliance Rescue came out, noted that it was the faint odor of and quot;new houseand quot; that the dryer will and quot;emphasizeand quot; because of the heat, and that it would disappear over time. He checked out the machine, shortened up and properly installed the exhaust vent, and put everything back in place. He was very courteous and reasonable, on time, and knowledgeable. We would definitely use Appliance Rescue again.

Called a week and a half ago to schedule an appointment. Technician advised that they were quite busy and that it would be a week or so until he could come out to repair two items. Because of the ratings in Angie's List, I decided to wait for what I believed was the right choice of repair people. This was a great choice! Technician arrived promptly at 8:00 A.M. and went straight to work. Started dishwasher and then went immediately to freezer. Examined freezer and advised what was wrong and what it would cost to repair. Fixed same. Went back to dishwasher which had started its cycle. Examined dishwasher and disassembled lower section. Found some trash and a stone? Cleaned same and advised that it may need a new pump and motor. Gave an estimate and then went back to work assembling unit. Works fine without new parts and I was pleased. No hassle, no B.S. Just good honest repair work, on time and for a fair price. Technician explained everything and was quite friendly and had a very customer service attitude. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. It was well worth the wait for an appointment.

He had it repaired in 20 minutes. It was just something in there that needed to be removed.

Went very well. Saw another small problem with washing machine that he fixed the following week for no charge.

Excellent communication, prompt arrival. Called when he was on the way. Inspected my microwave, found inverter board failing. Gave quote but recommended to NOT fix it, rather use it till it died then purchase a new unit. Thank you for the honest evaluation, and not pushing a repair.

The job went great--Alan was right on time when he said he'd be there, and got the work done very quickly. He was also really super nice, and in the future, I will call him any time I have an appliance act up. Found APPLIANCE RESCUE SERVICE from Angie's List. Liked its review. Called and left a message on Saturday. Got a call from Alan on Monday morning. Made a schedule for Tuesday. Show up 20 minutes before the appoint. Alan is very knowledgable and prefessional. He explained what is wrong immediately and recommend the repair. At the beginning, I didn't want to chang the ice maker. But eventually changed my mind. The whole process is quick and hassle free.

I have used this service a number of times to fix my appliances and have been satisfied.

A few days ago I scheduled an appointment for Appliance Rescue Service to come and look at my dryer, which was not drying efficiently. The appointment was set for 9:00am. On the day of the appointment I could not remember if it was set for 8:00am or 9:00am and called him at about 8:20am to see if he was still coming. About 8:30am he showed up and got right to work. Fixed the vent in no time and fixed the washing machine agitator with parts he already had on hand. The cost for service was reasonable and I will definitely call him again if I need appliance repair.

Repair man was nice and showed that he knew what he was doing. It was an easy fix. But I know that he could handle a more complex type of fix.

Jake came out on a Saturday and was very prompt and professional. He spent a good deal of time inspecting and diagnosing the damaged fridge despite me telling him at the onset that we'd already decided to replace the unit and had no intention of repairing it (or using Appliance Rescue Service to repair it). A lesser company would have walked away or done the bare minimum, realizing that they wouldn't be getting any business from the time invested during the estimate. I was shocked at the low-price of the Saturday service call - only $30.00. I even asked Jake to double-check, as I expected a price 4x that - especially for a Saturday visit. He assured me that $30 was the standard rate for house-calls. That's one heck of a bargain. I will, without hesitation, consider Appliance Rescue Service again should the need ever arise.

Alan was on time, and worked quickly. Appreciated his explanining what was wrong, and showing me the elements of the oven/microwave that needed to be repaired.

Excellent service! Jake was polite, prompt (even early the day he came back with parts he had to order),and helpful. I was given honest ansers about my washer and they were able to fix it with a warranty on parts and service.
