Owner operated. No subs. Cost is determined by the job. No travel charges. Appliance Rescue is a family owned and operated business dedicated to giving it’s customers the best service possible. We currently service The Woodlands and Spring areas. We at Appliance Rescue appreciate our customers and to show it we have a “20/20 on-time guarantee”. What this means is, we will be at your door within 20 minutes of our scheduled appointment or you get $20.00 off your bill. Repair or not. Put that on top of our 1 year warranty on parts and labor and our satisfaction guarantee, you would think there is nothing else to offer. Wrong. Our scheduling is ON THE HOUR. We won’t give you the typical 4 hour window of arrival. We schedule our customers on EXACT times that fit their schedules.

Description of Work: My washing machine was leaking. He saw no apparent problem with the machine except maybe was due to water spilling over the bowl when it agitated. So, he said the next time I washed and the machine was leaking, then I should call him and he would come out to check it out while it was washing. I did and he did not charge me another call fee but confirmed that the problem was water spilling over the bowl and there was nothing that could be done about it. I appreciated his honesty and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure his assessment was correct.

Description of Work: These guys do a great job. We have used them before for our dryer and we will use them again in the future. They came to fix our ice maker in our LG fridge. It turns out that its a manufacturer defect so they couldn't fix it, but he was able to give us advice on how to communicate with LG, and he didn't charge us since his device wasn't able to fix the problem.

Description of Work: I have called and left a voice message with this company 3 times over the last week and have also emailed the company requesting a service call for our dryer and ice maker - As of today, I have yet to receive any response - NO call back, NO email, Nothing. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Must not need my business or my money.

Description of Work: Garbage disposal had stopped suddenly stopped working. Called Appliance Rescue Service to explain the situation and what I had attempted to do to fix it and he gave one last simple thing to do before coming by. That fixed it! I really appreciate him doing the honorable thing and not just coming by and taking my money. It's not every day that you come across a professional like that! Will use them in the future for sure!

Description of Work: i had three different appliance repair services look at my GE refrigerator. The first two couldn't figure out the problem. Alan had the problem solved in less than 10 minutes and he even had the GE OEM parts with him. After my recent experiences with other contractors, I would highly recommend that you call him first! Alan and his son are professional, clean cut, and have a sense of humor. He even fixed my stove while he was here. My wife couldn't be happier.

Member, I'm sorry for your inconvenience but, I did show up. In fact I was 30 minutes early. I waited until almost 4:30 (that would make almost an hour that I waited). I tired calling numerous times and got nothing but an answering machine on which I left messages.

Allen arrived promptly as scheduled. After determining that the necessary parts for our older Kitchenaid would need a day to arrive, we set up a time for their installation the next day. My schedule was running late, so I called him to establish another time. He again arrived promptly, completed his work, and the final cost was $3.00 lower than his estimate.

ALAN RESPONDED THE DAY AFTER WE CALLED, ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME WE HAVE USED HIS SERVICE IN THE LAST YEAR. THE FIRST TIME, HE REPAIRED A WIRING PROBLEM IN OUR ELECTRIC OVEN, AVOIDING A $1000+ REPLACEMENT. THE SECOND TIME, HE ADVISED US AGAINST REPAIRING OUR CLOTHES WASHER WITH A FAILED SEAL AND EXTENSIVE DAMAGE, CHARGING ONLY A MINIMUM FOR THE EVALUATION. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN PROMPT AND COURTEOUS.
Description of Work: CLOTHES DRYER WAS JAMMED AND WOULDN'T TURN. ALAN DISASSEMBLED THE DRYER AND REMOVED CLOTHING THAT HAD THE DRYER LOCKED UP.
