Description of Work: They did two jobs for me in the past month. They replaced a broken heating and air conditioning system and upgraded the thermostats to WiFi connected ones to enable them to be part of a smart home configuration. They also installed a tankless water heater to replace an aging tank heater. Berkeys does a great job. The project lead came and assessed what I needed and then confirmed an install date. They arrived on time and they are very meticulous about making sure the permits are obtained and the work is done according to code. I think they go above and beyond to do quality work. The lead guy came to inspect the work several times during the install and after. They cleaned up after themselves and were very nice to deal with. I am a member of their BAM program so I use them for everything: Plumbing, heating and A/C work, and electrical.

Description of Work: We had a plumbing issue fixed and then it leaked again. Berkeys is priced a bit high but they always stand behind their work and are very professional. we have had several things done with them over the past 5 years. I have gone cheaper routes and always been disappointed and ended up calling berkeys to come and do damage control. Breakers rocks just a bit expensive. But you get what you pay for!

Description of Work: Long time Berkey's customer for servicing Heat & AC at this and my prior home. This last service was the first time we've had a new system installed. Berkey's ultimately installed a new Lennox furnace after quickly responding to my first call with no heat in the dead of winter. They first tried to resolve the issues with fixing our existing system and even expedited delivery of the needed parts. Over several days they tirelessly worked to get our heat back running. Since then we have several service calls in the spring to troubleshoot the thermostat connection to the AC and the Berkey's team was professional, prompt, helpful and friendly.

Description of Work: Flushed tankless hot water unit and flooded my house. Their contractor they used did not do a good job. Still have water stains on ceiling.

Description of Work: Plumbed my new house in 1985. Plumber walked across a mud-filled yard into my house. Had to come back and partially clean up his mess. Since he was young and didn't give a hoot--or he would not have done that in the first instance--he gave the cleaning a lick and a promise. Complaints to Berkey got 0 results. Several days later in the middle of the nite a loud pop was heard all over the house (2300 sq. ft.)followed by the sound of rushing water. By the time I reached my kitchen, water was already flowing out of my cabinets under the sink. Had to go out in 38 degree temp. and shut off the water. We're talking approx two weeks after we closed on the house and moved in. Berkey's been around for several decades so they think they are bullet proof. They're doing NOTHING that costs them money. |
