I would say if you have extensive plumbing you should use this company as they do have a master plumber on staff.

It went fairly well. We had 2 services and we were not too happy with the results of either. We decided we would not use this company in the future.

Quoted me $795 for a new control board and capacitor for another $243. The actual cost was $175.00 for the board and the capacitors cost $20. The capacitor tested out fine, but the board did not when I got a second opinion from a family member that works for another company, but lives rather far away. My relative came in with the part and replaced it for me, cleaned and tuned it, and the furnace works great. Berkey's were suggesting I replace the entire furnace instead. I was lucky to have someone in the family for a second opinion, or I may have spent thousands when I only needed to replace a single part. I paid him for the parts, his gas, and time for the long drive and work. I understand there are costs for warranty work and labor, but 450% markup is extreme to me, and designed to force me to fully replace an otherwise functional unit. Yes, it's 20 years old, but if it works, it works. Why replace it?

It went well. Tech was on time, professional, and competent. He was friendly and explained everything well. No issues. Everything went well. I'm happy with Berkey's.

Our scheduled appointment was between 8:00 and noon. Got a call at 7:45 advising that the tech was on his way. He arrived at 8:05. This fellow was both personable and professional..I explained the problem. He explained a couple scenarios and went to work. He identified the problem, fixed it and was gone is less than and hours. We have used Berkeys for out A/C & heating work for years. Now they will be our go to guys for electrical work

SERVICEMAN, ROGER DIAGNOSED PRBLM AND DID A TEMPORARY FIX UNTIL A PROPER PART COULD BE LOCATED AND INSTALLED. HE CAME OUT ON SATURDAY AND WE HAD HEAT UNTIL HE RETURNED WITH THE LOCATED PART ON THE FOLLOWING WED.. KEPT ME ADVISED THE WHOLE TIME OF HIS PROGRESS AND HIS RETURN.

If I could give Berkey's an A+, I would! We had noticed a severe leak in the outdoor water supply line the previous afternoon. It was so severe, I had to shut off the water to prevent further damage, flooding and to conserve water. I had call another plumbing company and was given the run around. When they never showed, I called Berkey's at around 2:30 pm the following day. I spoke with Caroline, who told me they could get a plumber to the house between 4:00 - 8:00. When I asked her if it would be a problem for the plumber to do outdoor work in the evening (which is what the other plumbing company said), she assured me it wouldn't be an issue. At 3:45, I got a call informing me the plumber was on his way. At 4:15 Corey arrived. He was friendly, professional and courteous. He assessed the situation quickly and worked up an estimate (which was well within my expectations). Corey explained the problem and detailed his solution. Throughout the process, he kept me informed of the progress, bringing me out during critical phases to review the previous and the next steps He completed the job within a couple of hours, leaving things better than new. I will be calling Berkey's from now on for ALL my plumbing needs! These guys are fantastic!

Warren the technician was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained what he was going to do and showed me the items needing to be replaced. His actions were typical of those demonstrated by other Berkey's technicians and I was pleased with the service he provided.

We scheduled our three heat pump check for the fall and had the filters changed. We had a $63 coupon to use towards the purchase of the filters. Greg arrived within the specified time and was courteous and professional as always. We have had the pleasure of working with him in the past. I would highly recommend him.

This is the second year I've signed up for their BAM plan, which is an annual maintenance plan that also includes other discounts on work done. What I like most about the plan is that it includes a spring and fall tuneup for my air conditioner and heater and covers both of my units. I also have the plumbing plan that now covers flushing both of my water heaters...which normally costs much more than the $99 plan. They are really good about giving notice before the technician is heading to my home and have great follow up. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone looking for prompt, professional service at a great price.

Keith Morris was scheduled out the next day after we called. We got a call 30 minutes before the estimated time of his arrival from Berkeys to confirm that he was on the way. He arrived on time. He listened and looked at what we needed and asked questions along the way to confirm. He took a little time to write up his estimate and then explained everything he planned to do and the approximate time it would take him. Keith did everything he told us and even a little bit more. He accomplished the work as if it were working on his own home. He was very efficient and neat. He cleaned up everything before he left. We have used Berkeys for years and this is just one of the reasons we continue to call them when we need help around our house.

am a vip with this company - fully worth the small fee for that. have used them for about 22 years. absolutely trust them and they are the best for a/c, heating, hot water heaters, any other thing they do. free winter/summer screening to make sure all is well with your systems. discounts on supplies. always friendly and available.

It went well, but I couldn't believe he charged $400 to replace those two sockets. I could have done it for $25 except that I had to have proof that it was done by a professional since I was selling my house.

Needed a gas water heater replaced. Looked to Angie's List. Found this company. $1947? REALLY? Drain pan good, all other lines good, Understand the $60 city permit. But really...$2000 for a water heater. No big issues, will post a copy of the quote on Facebook. I'll never use this service again, hope my membership fees are cancelled!

I called Berkeys when my AC stopped cooling. They came out quickly, as they had in the past. The tech told me I had a leak in my in my coils. When I asked the cost to replace them, I was stunned: $3,500. The tech was quick to tell me I could apply for credit through Berkeys to finance the costs. Instead, I paid for the visit (nearly $600, which also seemed high, given they type of coolant we have), and I got three estimates from other providers. They were $1,700, $2100, and $2,500. I won't use Berkeys again.

It was a long day, but everything was done very well in the end. Took the 2 man team about 10-12 hours to do the complete install.

Scheduling this was fine and professional, and the guy showed up on time. However, my wife texted me that this was going to be close to $1000! The breakdown follows (approximates) - $350 to "rebuild" a leaking faucet (usually, a washer or two don't cost hundreds of dollars!) $450 to replace the disposal (the leak was from the drain, not the actual unit, and a disposal is about $100 anyway) The balance was some extended service agreement. Needless to say we paid the service call - money down the 'drain' - and sent him on his way. VERY disappointing to be gouged by an Angie's List provider.

Technician was very polite. He walked me through what to expect and showed me how the equipment worked.

The person who came out spend quite a bit of time inspecting the water heater and concluded that it had to be replaced and gave a price for this. I asked if there was any way it could be fixed and he said No and that it was the age where they go out so there was nothing we could do other than replace it. I decided to get another quote first and as I stood pondering about who to call, I noticed that the on off switch for the unit was switched OFF! I turned it back on and it started working again. Needless to say I was very disappointed in Berkeys.

This company charges $69 for an estimate! I've never even heard of such a thing!

In the early hours of 8/15 we had a flood and Berkeys responded quickly when called. When the insurance company had assessed the damage and the work begin a few days later, our sink had to be removed so the cabinets could be replaced. The cabinet people could not reinstall the sink. The floors also had to be replaced so we could not use our kitchen for over a week. When I had an estimated time the kitchen floor would be ready I called Berkeys to find out how much lead time they needed to put it all back together. I was informed they needed 2 days to finish. The floor was finished yesterday and called mid afternoon. The had their technician out 1st thing this morning. They sent Corey back out. This guy is fast and efficient. Not only did he get us back up and running, he completed some other issues at the same time. I hope Berkeys understands what an awesome employee they have in Corey. My thanks to Berkeys and to Corey.
