Berkeys saved the day! Of several companies I called, they were the only ones that lived up to the after hours emergency capability. I was out of town, my plane landed at 9 pm and Raul was at my house at 9:30 pm. He was extremely courteous and identified the issue. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't an easy fix but fortunately Raul worked with me and scheduled a new unit install for the next day. I could not have been happier with the work done and the professionalism of both the dispatchers and Raul the technician.

I called after another plumbing service did the same thing 5 hours ago. berkeys came in and told me the probable causes. the cost was 150 to come out but final price was 181 and they said" you will have hot water from now on!! it has been two days since they said that and i still have hot water

Installed on a Saturday, which was very much appreciated so did not disrupt my work week. My home is about 1700 sq ft, they sent 4 guys for the install. The home build made the install difficult, the guys installing were professional and kind through the whole process. They added returns which a couple were difficult to place, and replaced the vent in master bedroom with 2 which greatly improved that room. They had a group with a plumber come back another day to place the condensation drain down through the wall to the sink plumbing of my master bath. They had to remove my attic stairs in the garage to get the unit into my attic, they had a carpenter return another day to reinstall stairs. They installed the unit outside and cleaned up the messy wiring from the previous install, making everything very neat and clean. The old unit had really sunk down, they removed the old concrete pad, added multiple bags of dirt to raise the area up, and installed new unit on new pad. They did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. They helped me set up a time for city to inspect. It was overall a great experience, I am very happy with the results. I will use them for the HVAC routine maintenance and plumbing going forward.

Our water heater had started leaking right before we went out of town. We had shut off the main water valve and I called this company from the airport to come out when we got back. He was late and a glorified sales man! They wanted me to buy their $99.00 program and the water heater quote was SO EXPENSIVE!!! I asked what the price was without their $99.00 program and he couldn't tell me. He kept going on and on about what their yearly program entailed. They were charging about $2559.00 for a basic water heater,, $99 for their membership, $362.00 for an upcharge to install in our attic. While he was "selling" my husband, I called another company. They were not sure if they could get out the next day, so we had Berkeys cap the water line so that we could at least turn the water back on in our house. We were told that there was NO warranty on his work (WHAT???) and they charged us $337!!!!!!!! I was able to get a water heater installed by another company for $1450.00 total (same brand that they were selling). DO NOT use them.... I felt like all the guy was trying to do was get a higher commission.

The tech was polite and friendly, performing the work promptly and completely. In a prior service visit we were told that the condensation drain from one of our two units was clogged, but we waited until after winter for the service. They scheduled the service within a week (since not critical) and completed it for the originally quoted price. The tech did a quality job, including checking the the drain from the other unit, since they merged together. Although it doesn't sound complicated, it was done thoroughly. I highly recommend Berkey's and their annual check-up service.

The first time we used them, it was a simple fix and they didn't charge us, which was great! This time that we called them they still did fantastic work and would hire them again!

Keith came out just a few hours after I called to look at my failing AC unit and almost immediately realized the issue was with the contact unit. He was here and gone in no time, fixed the unit perfectly and was extremely friendly. I plan on switching to Berkey's for all of my needs going forward.

First thing Monday morning, Greg showed up. He quickly determined the problem and located the necessary parts. When he was leaving he made it clear that he was determined to complete this repair today. It made me feel my problem was his mission for the day and he was doing all he could. He returned with the parts and quickly had the system back up and running by lunch. What a great overall service experience with a friendly technician and telephone operators. BERKEYS showed a great team effort.

The office staff are great and communicated well, both before and after the service call.? The AC was blowing warm air.? Michael arrived on time and did basic checks.? The guage indicated low coolant and after 2 pounds of added coolant the AC started to cool again.? The house is cool now.? I signed up for the maintenance plan for preventative service. Excellent quality service again from Berkey's. We are super happy with this company after using them for the past year to take care of our 2 AC Units. Today we had our summer tune up. Technician "Keith" arrived near the beginning of the appointment window and we received a call 30 minutes prior to his arrival alerting us that he was on the way. This tech was well dressed, polite, technically proficient and thorough in his check list. 1. Checked both AC Units from top to bottom for proper operation 2. Checked blowers, condensate lines, and filters 3. Checked refrigerant levels 4. Checked outdoor coils and insulation 5. Checked capacitors, compressors, condenser fan amps, and temperature splits So far we feel fortunate to find a caring company still exists in this business, recommend them to others and will continue to use them in the future

I have been using Berkeys to service my AC system for a couple of years & so they were naturally my first choice when I made the decision to replace the entire house's AC and heating systems. At 20+ years old, the original units were not only very inefficient, they were breaking down 2-3 times every summer and I had spent over $1000 in repairs in the last year alone. After the unit quit working again on a Sunday, they dispatched Wayne, the tech, out to my house. He diagnosed a bad control board, which was $750 to replace; but the real problem was that the evaporator coils inside the air handler were completely rusted out and crumbling. The unit was undersized for the house (which I already knew, it was a 2.5 ton system in a 3 ton house) and the ducting was falling apart, not sealed well, so the fan was drawing air from the attic instead of through the return vent/air filter. I obtained an estimate on a whole-system changeout including new ducts, grilles, both A/C units, new wiring and plumbing, complete duct cleaning and disinfecting, and upgrading to a digital wireless thermostat & a 6 month media filter. The estimate was high -- very high -- but I had already priced out similar systems beforehand. Sure, I could save a couple thousand bucks but there was no financing or the companies didn't offer good warranties. The clincher for me was Wayne's ability to provide 0% financing for 60 months, which was huge since I didn't want to pull $13.5k out of my savings account. They also threw in a 10 year warranty on both parts AND labor. They scheduled the install for 8 AM on Thursday of the same week; I got a call at 8 AM to let me know they were en route, and by 9 AM they were already doing the installation. By 6 PM I was back to enjoying cool AC. They didn't have time to put the attic stairs back in, which was a bit of a problem since I work 55-65 hours a week and can't take time off; fortunately, they were able to send a contractor on Sunday morning to reinstall the stairs with no issues. Install & duct cleaning/replacement teams were professional and didn't leave a mess to clean up, even vacuuming my house floors and carpets. The new 15 SEER 3 ton Lennox Elite system is a huge upgrade over my 20 year old 9 SEER Trane, and combined with the substantially larger ductwork, my house is now cooling better than it has in the 11 years that I've owned it. Where the old thermostat had to be pegged at 66 and the AC ran 24/7 just to keep the living room and bedroom at 69-70 degrees, the new unit I actually had to turn up to 70 because it was making things too chilly. The combination of the new high efficiency unit & much improved ductwork/sealing should cut my electric bill by 40% or more in those hot Texas summers. Being able to program the thermostat on a weekly schedule is also hugely beneficial since I can set the unit to higher temperatures during the day and while I'm asleep. I am sure that I could have gotten the work done for $3000 to $4000 cheaper somewhere else, but this is a once-in-20-years investment, and Berkeys has proven again that they offer outstanding service & are willing to go above and beyond to get things handled, even if it means coming out two Sunday mornings in a row. So far the quality & service have been great and I am very pleased with the work that was done. I would recommend Berkeys to anyone looking for quality HVAC work -- sure, it's expensive, and you're going to pay more than you would with a small company, but you get what you pay for, and if I'm going to make a major investment in my house I want the work to be guaranteed and to be high quality, and Berkeys delivers on both counts.

I felt he was transparent and honest, providing me with detailed information in a manner that was easy to understand, so I could make informed decisions. In the end, the repair was a easier fix than expected, he changed out one part and done! Thank you for a great experience.

Roger the tech was great. He's been to our home before and was courteous and prompt as usual. Appointment was 2-4 and he was there at 2pm on the dot. Great and fast service and recommended a few things for the future.

Raul, like all of the Berkeys techs we've interacted with over the last few years, was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. After making some adjustments to the system based on our comment that the cooling was uneven, he took the time to explain what he'd done in straightforward terms. As a person who has had experience with both Colony and A-1, Berkeys stands out as consistently being the best for service.

The technician arrived early after the office checked that an earlier time was OK. He quickly and efficiently performed the system check and found that a capacitor on the outside unit needed to be replaced. He replaced the part and there was no charge because the unit is still under warranty. Without the annual maintenance, we would not have recognized a problem until later in the year and would probably have experienced higher electricity bills and less efficiency.

Three years ago we kept getting clogs after clogs then a technician came out and told us lighting hit our control board to AC unit and we need a new unit for thousands! We told the man no our unit gets clogged check to see if it has a clog the man said he checked but lied. After contacting company owner he brought along Perry that worked together to find it was just another clog but the reason we kept getting clogs was because our bathroom pipe that drained to the unit was installed with an s and needed to be but shorter to prevent further clogging. Since we had trouble they covered all costs for FREE gave us our membership for FREE and 3 years later we are still with Perry the ONLY Technician we trust and use! He tells us when some thing does not look good prepare to fix this and when to expect it, how to better maintain our system and filters. Perry is not just our "repair" guy he has tought us being first time homeowners how to our heating and AC system works in our home. My house sometimes has toys all over and our dog barks and barks when he walks through the door but Perry is still professional and courteous of our home.

They were punctual and friendly enough. However the price was more than I expected for 2 simple toilet installs. However, after paying a $49 service call fee, I decided to go ahead with the work. I probably won't use them in the future because of the high pricing.

Punctual and professional but did not expect a charge of $170 to replace one light switch which took 5 minutes......after paying $70 trip charge and $110 diagnostic charge.
