Berkeys Air Conditioning Plumbing & Electrical

It went perfect. I joined the Berkeys CLUB membership which entitled me to one whole home plumbing inspection. I knew a few areas of concern that would be listed on the report but I was curious to see what else the master plumber would find and if he would add any superfluous repairs. Well after the inspection the plumber pointed out exactly the areas I was concerned about and one other area that needed attention. I was impressed that he found it because it was under the sink. I didn't follow the guy around the house as he did his inspection I wanted to leave him to do his job. Anyways I hired to perform the correction that he found of which I was unaware. I would do business with this company again. They arrived on time and present a very professional organization. No complaints at all with the service.

It was perfect. Quality workmanship. They left no mess behind. I hired them do a home plumbing inspection because it's always nice to put a second set of eyes on everything. I stay up to date on repairs and do a lot of my own repairs. Well the tech suggested something I never considered along with all the things I thought he would recommend. I immediately hired him to perform the repair. The reason, the tech was truthful and honest, and no pressure sales. I highly recommend.

I have a membership for them. If they find anything wrong they fix it. They are costly. I would tell others that I'm assured they do the work properly. There usually just one person that comes to do the work. They are good about sending me reminders. They send me a card in the mail telling me when it's time for my heating and air conditioning check up and I usually schedule it. When they come in they wear paper booties so they don't bring anything into the house.

You just call in and they set up, they give you your time frame. They call ahead of time to let you know the technician is coming out.

Berkey's was great, they had someone came out and explain the different options we had. Which options they felt would work best with the house in which we were willing to spend. Within on week explained financing. It took one day because they were doing both systems. It was great, They did everything they said they were going to the crew was courteous and efficient. Left the place as clean as it was before they came. I cant recommend them any higher they were awesome.

Fast and effective. Work was first rate. Went the extra step to make sure that the job was done professionally.

We are very impressed with the technicians who came out. They were very nice, knowledgeable and got everything we needed done fast.

The person who initially came out was not the person performing the work. I would have liked that communicated. The work took significantly longer than stated (water shutoff for 8 hours) and prices changed during job. They cleaned a drain free of charge for the inconvenience. If they hadn't, the overall rating would have been lower. The new toilets were not caulked, although the salesman offered to come back out to complete the job.

Completed installation next day as promised. Very pleased with customer service.

It went great! The service man was on time, kind, and very helpful. He notified me of some concerns and even showed me exactly where the issues were.

I give the tech an A+. Well informed on what he was doing. Positive attitude and explained thing to me to help educate me on how to run and keep my unit working at 100%

They were quick with getting a service technician out to my place and to try and sell me on a service plan however that's where the quality stops. Part 1) service technician came and spent 5 minutes shooting the wires and said it was electrical and that my system was on the verge of needing to be replaced if it did have to be replaced it would cost me nearly $10,000. Before they could do anything else they said to get an electrician to fix the electrical work. Part 2) hired an electrician to come out and fix the "electrical" issue. After paying the electrician to tell me there was nothing wrong I called Berkeys back up. Part 3)I call Berkeys to come back out after telling them the electrician said nothing was wrong. They tell me they will have to charge me a dispatch fee for the technician but at this point I just want it fixed so I agree to it. The technician shows up and spends even less time than before to say it is electrical and that they can't do anything. Part 4) I call another company they get out there the very next day and fix the issue in less than 20 minutes and it cost me $350. It ended up being something bad within the A/C unit and it needed a new motor. It had nothing to do with the electrical side of anything like Berkeys claimed. He proceeds tells me that it wouldn't cost more than $5,000-$6,000 to replace the entire A/C unit. I am also informed by said company that as a licensed A/C repair technician they can do some electrical work and that an electrician should have never been called. Berkeys did refund me the money they charged me but it should have never come to that and the fact that they jumped straight to possibly new A/C Unit and that it would cost me $10,000 makes me want to warn people. Stay away from Berkeys and save your money.

The dispatcher was helpful and worked very hard to get a plumber to my home right away. They were at my house within 30 minutes with a fair quote and professional staff. Work was finished quickly and professionally. They charge a flat rate vs. by the quarter hour. Excellent experience.

They recommend installing manual disk dampers on each system - something Berkeys installs standard on all new builds they do. Unfortunately, our builder's standards did not include this. Also, the ducts at the plenum boxes are not sealed properly and need to be done. Additionally, they recommend insulating the metal "Y's" so tempered air is not lost as readily as they are now. Lastly, we are in a new housing development with lots of ongoing construction so Berkeys inspected ducts and recommend that the ducts be cleaned out now to minimize materials getting into the furnace and cooler. They also tested air temp/humidity throughout and gave me a full report. They followed up thereafter both via phone and email to insure everything I asked was performed properly and well. They are thorough and truly care about their customers. I know...I've been a happy one for a very long time!

Great! Also, Installed High Impact Air Filter in system too so I would not have to change out monthly.

Had 3 appointments scheduled for 8-12 to do AC, pluming and electrical system checks. Got a call letting me know each service person was on the way. First was AC. He turned on the 2 AC units and did his checks in the attic and outside. All was good. Pluming person adjusted the hot water circulating pump to make sure we had hot water during the times w use it. All else was OK. Electrical checks went fine. Batteries were changed in smoke detectors. All was good. All 3 men made sure they had booties on when in the house. Great job and all was pre-paid through the Berkey service plan.

The service went great! The technicians were courteous, knowledgeable, and the company is very dependable. We were very pleased to find this recommendation on Angie's List!

Always professional and provide quality service. They have a great contract for one of each throughout the year at a good price.

Recently (9/2017) I needed a repair and they were ready to see me in just a couple hours.Awesome team! Highly recommended... repeatedly great.

Appt was easy to make and the plumber arrived promptly the day of the appt and listened to our issues and time constraints and put together several different options to choose from faucet wise and also offered a multi step procedure to help address our pipe shaking issue starting with the least expensive option first. Parts were ordered and a second appt was made after the weekend to finish the job. The plumber even emailed my cities water dept to get our water shutoff valve engaged after the cities phone lines went down. 2 hours later all work was completed and everything was explained and documented in our emailed invoice. Can't recommend this business for any plumbing repairs highly enough.
