Very good. Wayne Nguyen was a great technician. He found the issue and quickly got us an estimate. They were able to come out 1 day after we called which is very good in the Texas heat.

It took two trips for that work to be completed. They left the area clean; they were fine, but I think they broke my attic door. That's why I ended up needing another guy. It's my fault I didn't notice it and call them right away, otherwise they probably would have fixed it, but I didn't notice it for a couple of weeks.

I have their plan, I think it's $99.

A Berkey's plumber arrived the following morning. I showed him the leaky pump he went out to his truck to calculate the estimate. He returned with a $3,500 estimate for an anti-scale device and a new pump. He reported that scale build-up was the cause of the pump failure. I told him that I did not need the $2,300 anti scale device as my glass showers and fixtures are 10 years old and show no signs of scale. He began a high pressure sales tactic. I told him that I wasn't interested and my purpose in calling Berkeys was for a plumber not a salesman. My need was simple... the recirculating pump needed repair or replacement. The remaining $1,200 of the estimate was for the pump. I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. I explained to him that I thought the estimate was high given that an identical pump is available online for $200 and labor should not exceed two hours. From a distance he flashed the official Berkeys price list which he claimed validated his estimate. I began to feel like a dupe. I was unclear why he needed 20 minutes in his truck to calculate the estimate if he had a fixed price list. I told him that if $1,200 was his price then we had no further business as I was confident that my out-of-town husband could fix the pump in less than an hour. He told me that I owed him for the service call. I paid him the $69. After he left, I googled the pump again this time for repairs. According to the internet, it is common for the seal to fail and the pump to leak after 8+ years of circulating hot water. I called the 100-year old pump manufacturer and spoke with a technician. He proceeded to troubleshoot the pump over the phone i.e. no cracks in housing, pump runs. He confidently stated that a new O-ring would solve my problem. He provided me the part number. I fixed the pump for $10.15 which is the cost of the new O-ring. It took about 10 minutes to remove 4 screws, install the new O-ring, and replace the 4 screws. I am happy to report that the pump works and does not leak. I am also happy to report that I took pictures of the inside of the pump and there was no scale in or on the pump. Bottom line- either this plumber knew less about pumps than an accountant or he was scamming me.

I was very pleased with the ease of scheduling, the promptness of the technician, his expertise and the thoroughness of his work. I was impressed enough to go ahead and enroll in their regular service of inspecting my furnaces this coming fall and doing the AC and heating maintenance on a regular schedule. Being part of this plan also ensures you get immediate service the event of some sort of system failure.

needed a new AC unit , inside and out. got several quotes from several of the top tier companies that advertise a lot in our area , Berkey's wasn't cheapest but reasonable in comparison . I wanted expert installation as this is crucial over the lifetime of the unit. reviews for cheapest quote scared me off and boy am i glad I chose Berkey's. Technicians corrected several issues from original install years ago , and made improvements in gas line to protect my new indoor unit , much appreciated . I'm not sure I know what kind of job the cheaper guys would have done , but I know I am thrilled with the job Berkey's did. Looking forward to a cool summer . Thanks Berkey's !

The first inspection was light, short, and did not detect the cause of the problem. However the prompt and professional call support personnel got a second technician to come out who found the leaking pipe and remedied our situation. Cheaper than our home warranty service call fee and I like that they offer a wide range of services.

Showed up after quoted time window. Tried to sell me for a new hot water heater even though mine was working fine "Because it looks old". Charged me $265 for a $30 part and 30 minutes of labor. I pay my lawyer less!

Perfectly. Work was done timely, accurately and correctly. First contact was an emergency repair in 2016 - water leaking from ceiling, needed to have fixed before departing on a 3-week vacation in < 24 hours. Tech came at midnight and CHEERFULLY fixed the issue (I'd have been cranky by then) and our vacation was saved. A motor failed while we were away, and the same tech returned 48 hours after we came back and replaced it and improved the engineering of the drain pan to prevent another water leak. Unfortunately a DIFFERENT part of the system gave us a new leak last week - and even though it wasn't related to the nearly year-old repair, Berkeys took care of it as a warranty issue and cleared things up. We will use them again should it be necessary. We trust that they will do what they say when they say they will do it.

They were very professional and got the drain unclogged. They also took the time to run a camera through my drain and show me exactly where the problem is occurring. I would highly recommend this company.
