Great. John did everything I asked him to do and answered all my questions. Besides being a reliable company (I use Berkeys for my electrical, plumbing, and HVAC needs), they never try to sell me anything. That was a real issue with my previous electrical company. I have been a customer for approximately 5 years, and I believe them to be a solid, honest company.

GREAT! Scheduling staff was helpful and friendly. Arrival was exactly as scheduled. Called to let me know he was on the way. Phil (Service provider) was professional, timely, friendly, explained our options with no hard-sell pressure. I feel like I have a friend in the plumbing business! I trust Berkeys and highly recommend their services.

Berkey's rep. wasn't able to arrive until about 24 hours after outage, but, when he got here the service was excellent, person (Dane) was personable, professional, and restored our A/C in the shortest amount of time. Service charge was very reasonable.

Roger, the technician was nice and professional when he arrived. we have two units, about 5 years old that I wanted to ensure were running efficiently. they were both blowing cool air, but making sure all was well. He diagnosed our issue as being low on refridgerant and also a leak in the coil. He refilled the coolant and both units were running even better than they were before. He did advise that we should replace the evap coil soon and that if we do it, do it prior to the warranty expiring. no more than 24 hours, the upstairs begins blow warm air when. keep in mind. the upstairs tended to be cooler than the downstairs. To me, something seems very wrong in this situation. I wouldn't use them again and will take my business elsewhere.

Technician quickly diagnosed leaking evap coil. Luckily, it's still covered under warranty.

Extremely well. Very efficient with their time. Amazing job. Great at communicating with this over everything they did.

Our service tech was great. This is why I listed I would hire again - but there should be a "maybe" column. I did not have time to shop around on price. Lowe's (where we bought the fans) had less expensive installation), however, I had already meet the Berkeys service tech to discuss outdoor security cameras and liked him, so I moved forward with the work. However, next time I will shop around on price - $860 was higher then I expected, even after an estimate. This price included a $100 member fee to get a 15% discount. In hindsight that fee feels like I paid for a minimal discount. FYI: Estimate on a 60" ceiling fan installed for a 15' ceiling is $350 - sounds high.

He did a thorough check of my system and replaced coolant which was low, cleaned outside unit also

Mitch was here right when we were told he would be, he was very friendly, knew exactly what was wrong and immediately got to work fixing it quickly. The line had been clogged for what must have been a decade and Mitch had the right tools to unclog the line, and repair the parts that needed it quickly. He cleaned up any mess he made and we were back in business within the hour. He also offered me some future advice on this and other needs.

These people don't need your business, and they will tell you they can do on Saturday and will be so nice on the phone and gladly take your credit card. In our case with a brand new home all we needed was them to clean/hose off a brand new unit which is on our flat roof. I explained this to them in great detail on my very first call and multiple times thereafter. They even sent someone out once and he said he didn't have the correct ladder and could not do the service either, but tried to sell us some type of air srubber that would change our life. Use a company that actually needs and wants business, this a large corporation and if getting on a ladder means they don't want your business... they a little too big for me.

Good. They showed on time and got the job done in about two hours.

Very well. Needed to replace a part. They had a slight mix up in getting the right part for the water heater but thanks to the Brandon, the assigned plumber, they were able to get the correct replacement part and he was able to finish the job the same day. Excellent technician and customer assistance to book the job and call 30 min before arrival. Brandon was very professional and provided good tips in terms of maintenance.

Responsiveness: On the part of Berkeys, very disappointing. Our A/C unit developed problems on a Saturday and Berkeys was unable to send out a service tech until late the next week. We have been Berkeys customers for over 15 years and are members of its "BAM" service that advertises "VIP priority scheduling and service". Doesn't happen. Almost a week in Texas heat with an inop A/C unit didn't generate much concern on Berkeys part. They really promote the BAM membership but seem to not care once a customer has signed up. Our repair service was scheduled for the following Friday between 11am and 4pm. I had called the office about 1pm to check and was told our Tech would be delayed due to other emergency calls that took priority. Nice. So much for the BAM VIP priority. I asked to speak to a supervisor who was more responsive and checked into it. I understand things happen, the Techs have a very challenging job, and sometimes people get sick. But after a week I had hoped we would have some priority consideration. The service Tech showed up at 3pm. Service Tech: Ryan was excellent. He analyzed the problem and took the appropriate steps to resolve our A/C unit problems. He didn't try to up-sell or make unnecessary repairs. Definitely a professional that takes pride in his work. Very well done! Overall: The service techs with Berkeys almost all (there have been just a couple of "please don't this guy again" experiences) have been excellent through the years. Very happy with that. But the service scheduling and support on the administrative side doesn't generate much concern. What, your A/C unit is inop and it's 95 degrees outside. We'll get someone out there in about a week - but only if you call the office to follow up and ask to talk to a supervisor. The potential is there for superior service but unfortunately is bogged down in scheduling.

My initial call to Berkeys was answered by an employee. No voicemail and waiting for a return call was required. I made an appointment for the installation of a new kitchen faucet to replace the old one. The uniformed service rep showed up on time. He explained what he was going to do and about how long it would it would take to do it. He cleaned up the removal and installation debris and made sure everything was working properly.

Replaced within a couple hours after initial estimate visit. Same person that came for the estimate also performed the work. No issues, the finished worked looked great. The city inspector came over the following week and even commented how everything looked great.

Great! They installed the unit correctly along with adding a return duct because they felt the airflow was incorrect in the house. Everything turned out great!

They suggested another fix that was less expensive and a rapid fix. This is our second time to use Berkey's and I'm glad to say that they did not disappoint me. They rerouted the hot water lines and we are back with running water. What a relief!

Cody listened intently as i described the situation. After checking the Freon pressure and finding it was ok, he quickly identified a loose electrical connection in the HVAC control board. He fixed it with little effort and I soon had a nice cold house again! Because resolving the issue was pretty straightforward and easy for him, the repair cost was covered in the trip fee. I’d definitely have Cody from Berkey’s back in the future if I need a good HVAC pro again.
