I called Berkeys in the evening, and they sent out a plumber the next day. John Andress came in the time frame I was given. He was very professional and thorough. I will ask for him the next time I need a plumber.

Very unprofessional the way they talk to me and then they wanted to charge me more than what the contract said would not recommend them at all

The scheduling was quick and efficient. They provided an appointment first thing the following day. The technician called and texted prior to arrival. I was provided the technician's name and picture prior to arrival. The technician was polite and professional. He provided a quote for the service needed. The quoted price was not competitive with other companies for the same work. I requested some sort of price estimate over the phone prior to making an appointment and they were unable to provide any pricing. It would be most helpful and a huge time saver to be able to provide some sort of pricing without having to schedule an appointment and wait for an estimate that is not competitive.

Waited for over a week but they never even responded to my request for a quote.

We called to schedule the appointment and explained we needed 2 coaxial cable outlets installed and the doorbell needed to be fixed. At that time we were told they could do all of that. On the day of the appointment I took off from work, moved the furniture out from the work area and got all the doorbell parts. When the technician arrived he couldn't understand the request to have 2 coaxial cable outlets installed. I showed him what we wanted and he said it was a 2 person job and we would have to reschedule. So we called the office and the phone person said the electrical manager would try to send another technician over to help. I relayed this to the technician and told him he could start on the doorbell. I told him I had a new doorbell, button and transformer for him to use. He interrupted me and asked if I installed them myself to which I said "No these are parts that you can use if you need them". He said he would go up into the attic to look at the transformer. At that point I asked him why wouldn't he look at the doorbell button first since the light on the doorbell button wasn't on. He said okay he would need to go out to his truck to get his tools. When he came back in he said that he could install the cable outlets but he couldn't terminate them because of liability issues. We asked what did that mean but he could explain it; just kept repeating he couldn't terminate them. So I took him to an installed cable outlet and asked when he got done was that what we were going to have. He said no he couldn't terminate it. We finally figured out what he meant was that he could run the cable and install the box for the wire but the ends of the coaxial cable would not be finished. We would need to call someone else to have the cable ends finished. While here he repeatedly told us we should call the cable company to do the cable work as they would do it for free. I told him that if the cable company would do it it wouldn't be free but I didn't think the cable company would go into the attic for liability issues. The technician did not know how to communicate with the customer nor could he easily understand what we wanted. We purchased the service plan on an earlier job and now regret doing that as it is unlikely we will be calling them back.

The two electricians made short work of the porch light installation. They did a good job.

Doug came at the appointed time and was very methodical in determining the source of the problem and correcting it. Since the job took him less than 30 minutes, he reduced the charge to what I thought was a very fair price.

Called at 8AM, they said they could get someone out same day (and they did). Jose showed up around 1PM, quickly identified the issue with the leak, installed and tested the faucet. He was done in about an hour. Very professional and easy to work with.

Three years ago I had a new heat pump (AC and heat) installed. The gentleman whose company did the installation was very busy. So I checked out Angies List and found Berkeys Air Conditioning Plumbing & Electrical. It was either a $69 call to come out or $99 for a system check through their "membership." I chose the $99 since really I needed a check. As it worked out, my regular AC guy stopped by Thursday night at 8 pm; apologetic that he couldn't get out sooner. It was a simple fix and my AC was once again churning out cold air. This morning, the technician from Berkeys Air Conditioning Plumbing & Electrical, came in. Took a look at the system in the closet. He immediately started to up-sell. He told me my zoning board needed to be replaced. He didn't test it. He didn't say why other than it was an older Honeywell that he felt was "garbage." He then went to the outside compressor. Shortly he came back in and said I had a freon leak. That would be $300 to troubleshoot and of course, not including any freon needed. He never checked the air temp from the vents. His total time there was 15 minutes. He seemed more interested in up-selling than helping. I would not ever use Berkeys Air Conditioning Plumbing & Electrical again.

The staff was friendly, considerate, professional, and did a great job. The went to attic to inspect and offered the available options for the install. Because we have a two story home and fire walls are in place they explained the available options to us. We elected to proceed with the installation and are happy with the work performed.

I'm very happy about the work done. The meter box was handing loose on the wall, and the electrical panel was full. Frank and his helper came in early morning, and completed their work that day. They attached the meter firmly to the wall, installed a new panel with plenty of extra space, and installed a surge protector. The inspector came by the next morning and passed all of the electrical work. Frank was very professional and knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions.

Easy to make appointment, showed up on time. Knowledgeable and friendly technician assessed and then provided pricing. Once I approved, he quickly completed both projects. He wore protective covers on his shoes to keep from tracking in anything from outside.

Due to it being such an old system the guys actually spent close to 20 hours working on the repair and I have to give them credit that they did not stop until the matter was fixed. I definitely trust Berkeys to do the job right and employees with the choices that we made to let them do the work.

Assessed thenproblem within minutes, perfomed necessary work, and provided recommendations for prevention. Super friendly and great overall experience.
