Description of Work: We've been using them for years. They replaced a supply pipe for a toilet the last time. They've also replaced a water heater and cleaned the drains in two bathtubs.

Description of Work: We had them come out and put a shut-off valve for an out side faucet. The water line ran through the garage and would freeze when temps got below 20 degrees. They were able to put in a shut-off where the line came out of the house so the pipe in the garage could be shut-off during winter months which would prevent freezing.

Description of Work: The technician, came out to perform semi-annual Berkeys Automatic Maintenance (BAM) service on the heating and air conditiong systems. He was prompt and very professional and informative. He called ahead of time to give us an estimate of when he would arrive. He answered my numerous questions about what he was doing and how the system filtered the air and possible causes for excess dust in the house. In response to the latter (dust) he recommended some checks I could perform such as looking for intrusion around ceiling can lights. He also suggested a couple possible modifications to the HVAC unit to reduce transmission of dust around the filters and to protect the HVAC coils for which he provided estimates in case the simple fixes didn't work and if I chose the profession modifications. Our annual BAM for three HVAC units is about $250 (or $125 per semi annual maintenance vist). So, the visit and servicde was prepaid under the agreement. He did perform a line drain treatment for which we paid about $8.00 after Berkeys discount coupon. We've been using Berkey's for about four years now.

Description of Work: They replaced a hose for me. They were pretty good. The guys were very nice and professional. I had confidence that they would do a job well done, but they aren’t cheap.

Description of Work: Winter tune-up under a contract. they found I had a problem with a selenoid in my heat pump.The part had been replaced about one year ago,so they warranted the repair. this trip there was no chasrge . I would like to comment on a repair made last year in the 100 plus weather we were having. I came home on a friday eve around 7:30 P.M. and the house was very warm to say the least. 'NO A/C " I called Berkey's expecting to leave a message on a anwsering machine and someone anwsered. they said I was a valued customer and would get a technican out tonight. In about 30 minutes he arrived and found the problem. No part available so he wired the unit to run so we would have air that night and came back 10 A M the next day and replaced needed part. Price $120.00 Service was above and beyond thanks Berkeys

Description of Work: I have used them for water heater, ac/heat and any other service they offer. They are excellent, prompt and efficient and do not miss anything or put in extra work not needed. You can trust them. Additionally they are a little more expensive but that is b/c they are worth and get the job done right the first time.

Description of Work: I have been using this company for several years. I left a very good heating and cooling company for Berkey's because of their plumbing service. The are not the cheapest company in town, but they use the best parts and I have never had them come back twice to fix the same problem. I have used them for the following: Outdoor gas leak and repair; new 3 ton heating cooling systems, maintenance contracts for servicing and plumbing checks, tankless water heaters, new toilets.

Description of Work: I had a leak on an outside faucet which was replaced. Also the replaced a tub overflow which we were concerned that it was leaking under our tile floor in the breakfast room. They had to comeback because the outside faucet was still leaking. They said it was a faulty part that they used. I also ended up with a chip in my bathtub which they said was not their responsibilty. It was chipped when the old fixture was removed. I will not be using them again.

Description of Work: They want $69 for ANY trip to the house IN ADDITION to whatever service/parts they will perform. They do sell a $99 service agreement for 1 year so that in the coming year you don't pay that service fee (across all lines, heating/ac/plumbing). They wouldn't give me an estimate for a water heater over the phone and wanted $69 to come give me an estimate (which would NOT be waived if I did the work with them).

Description of Work: Cleaned coils and topped freon fo three air conditioners. I have used them for many different plumbing jobs.They are competent and very professional.
