Maas Nursery is a full service landscape design service and nursery specializing in the unique and unusual since 1951. Whatever you need for your garden, we have it or can get it for you. When you come by, plan to spend some time just taking it all in. Bring a truck if you can. You'll need it! We will ship plants or garden equipment locally. Maas Nursery has been providing professional landscape design and installation since 1951. Jim Maas is now landscaping for the children and grandchildren that his father, Herbert Maas, worked for many years ago. Expert custom design and longstanding personal service have been the foundation for this successful business that serves the entire Houston Bay Area. Come out and sit down with Jim and his staff. Describe your backyard and then stand back. Jim's sketching abilities are legendary. Ask to see some of his original designs. Awesome is the best description. Great service.
Description of Work: Bought a citrus tree and multiple plants for our landscaping. Got advice from the owner about what to plant in which location. This is a fabulous place to shop. The plants are healthy. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Overall outstanding
Description of Work: Did a complete landscape design of our front and back yard. Listened to what our preferences were in plants and got an overall idea of what we wanted to do with our gardens. Went over various plants and plant alternatives to more clearly determine our preferences.Presented a detailed color coded landscape plan to scale. The cost of the landscaping will be discounted from any plants or service purchased.Jim Maas personally went over the landscaping plan and preferences. Very comfortable atmosphere. he showed pictures and took us out to the nursery and showed us the actual plants and stone work for a patio and fountains. He very knowledgeable and took his time educating us on the best suited plants and plan for our yard.I highly recommend Maas Nursery.

So far so good.
Description of Work: Maas had an Angies List big deal for a lanscaping plan and/or services. I went for it because I genarally cannot afford much major landscaping, enjoy gardening and wanted a plan to follow and do the work myself as much as I could. I made an appointment and had a consultation with Jim Maas. He could not have been nicer and he must be a genius to do what he does from photographs alone. He accomplished the work in a very timely manner. Have not had my second appt yet , but that has been my fault. They have been very patient and were great about contacting me and following up. Can't wait to see the plan he has drawn up. Only wish they were closer to my home.
