I woke up to find that the sink in our second bathroom was almost overflowing. Water was backing up through the drain line. I did some basic troubleshooting and found the drain line was plugged downstream of the trap and AC condensate was backing up into the sink. I was unable to clear it with my snake. The sink rapidly filled with water when the AC was running so I shut off the AC and started calling plumbers that were highly rated on Angie's list and had A or A+ BBB ratings. I wanted same day service because I had the AC turned off. Able Plumbing was able to send a two man crew the same day. They arrived on time, unplugged the line, and cleaned up job site. In addition to clearing the plugged line they simplified the connection between the AC condensate drain and the sink drain to make future maintenance easier and homeowner friendly. They gave me preventive maintenance tips for keeping the drain line open. One of the plumbers was concerned that our hot water temperature seemed too hot so he asked if he could check it n the attic. The temperature of a recently installed hot water heater was indeed set too high so he reset it. I was very happy with the work done by Able Plumbing. They were able to provide same day service when others could not, they showed up on time, the crew was professional, and I appreciate them spotting the hot water temperature issue.

Plumber went over the home inspection report with me and checked and addressed each item and gave me a price for each item. He suggested that I purchase a toilet that he would install for me, which saved me a little money?very much appreciated. They (plumber + assistant) worked very quickly and efficiently to get the jobs done, and actually finished in less time than they had estimated, and charged for actual time spent. I was kept informed each step of the way on what they found and how it was fixed. They were very knowledgable about the correct way things should be installed to bring things up to code.

Even though services were technically not performed physically, the instructions Terry provided me worked and I consider that to be a very high quality of service. They could have very easily just went ahead and sold me a new disposal, but they took the time to help me and this saved me at $200. Thank you Terry!

They were supposed to be here betwee 2:00 and 4:00. Jeremy called me at 245 to let me know he would arrive witching 30 minutes. He was right on time and very polite. He was extremely professional and worked quickly. He triple checked all his work, gave me estimates on about three other jobs we are looking at in the near future and was nice to my animals. I would definitely use and highly recommend this company. Definitely deserves to be on the page of happiness.

I ordered their $195 new Garbage Disposal promotion and they were wonderful to work with. I will definitely use them again should I have any plumbing needs.

Jimmy, my technician, was on time & performed the job efficiently. Estimated 1.5 hrs & took under 1 hr. I had another plumbing company quote me $420 for the same job that Able Plumbing did for $120. Great experience overall!

Short version of this review is to just call these guys. They are courteous, competent, show up when they say they will and the cost is reasonable. Long version is that I haven't had to call a plumber in over 10 years as I can usually fix most things myself. But after several tries, I just couldn't bust this clog open and needed a plumber. I did a lot of research on the internet, on Angie's List (the best) and Yelp! (which was no help at all). I wanted to use someone local, and not the big guys with offices up in Houston, and found Able Plumbing located in Seabrook, TX, which is only about 5 miles from my house. I called Able Plumbing at 8:30am to schedule an appointment and was given a 12-2pm timeframe on the same day. At 12:30pm, Jeremy called to let me know he was 10-15 minutes out and showed up sooner than that! Jeremy was very polite and knowledgeable and able to clear my clogged drain pipe in about 20 minutes. He used a drop cloth to make sure none of the gunk got on the cabinet or floor and and cleaned up afterwards. He also checked to make sure both sinks in the bathroom were draining properly and even cleaned out the aerators on the faucets. Overall, I'm very happy with the service and the cost was what I expected. I would definitely recommend this company and I will be calling them again next time I need a plumber.

Installation was fairly smooth. They installed the new water heater and included 1 or 2 optional items for which another company wanted to charge $150/each. That was a big bonus as I had bought a deal and got the new water heater for a rather decent price (~$500 less than my usual plumber had said it would be). I rated punctuality as "N/A" because I don't remember if they were on time. I rated professionalism as a B because of issues with using my garage door. It was maybe somewhat minor compared to other things that could go wrong but that is why I gave them only a B and not a lower rating for it .

Although scheduled a week in advance, the plumbers showed up three hours late and with a 'hurry up and get out of here attitude'. I'm curious the reliability of their experience as they were trying to convince us an expansion tank on a hot water heater was a bad idea. Housekeeping and general professionalism of the staff that came out made me concerned about the quality of work. In 5 minutes in was obvious we need to ask them to leave. I would use caution selecting this plumber, or make sure to follow up on the work performed prior to signing the final work order. The call center wasn't much more helpful, and I don't expect you will have much success there if issues arise.

He did an amazing job. The floor this at room is uneven, and he managed to make it work. This was a "deal" and it took longer than I am sure they anticipated, yet there was no complaining, nor attempt to hurry the job. Excellent job!

The Gentleman called 30-45 min before arriving, timing was great. He arrived on time and installed the disposal. He was very knowledgeable of the product; explained dos and don'ts; also gave me tips on keeping the disposal fresh. He was a real gentleman, very professional with everything. The booklet that came with the disposal is very educational.

They installed a new garbage disposal perfectly, removed the old one, and even diagnosed and fixed the other part of my sink that was leaking without any extra cost on top of the parts because they did their work so fast! Very professional. Definitely in the file to hire again.

As a landlord this was needed for one of our units. To complicate matters, they needed to schedule the install with the tenant. This was done today and I received word the service tech went out, did a professional job and even took time to show and explain to the tenants. I received back rave reviews. Kudos to you guys for making my life easier. As luck would have it I happen to have another and I am putting in in now.

The basic work was done well. No complaints and that is important. A few things like tidying up the flexible gas line routing, insulating the in and out flexible water pipes, and failing to install a manufacturer supplied foam energy conservation insulation piece kept me from giving them an "A" overall. This might be considered nit picking but for $1,200 I don't think so. I determined that the foam piece was missing after seeing it referenced in the instruction manual which I read after they left and the old heater had foam insulation installed over the in and out pipes. I am fussy so most homeowners would not even venture into the attic to see if what was done was done correctly along with the workmanship.

Able plumbing called me first thing Monday and asked if we still had a plumbing issue and asked if anyone would be home for the next few hours. A job ticket was created and minutes later the plumber called to confirm someone would be home. He arrived 15 minutes later, assessed the problem and repaired it.

It was great. I requested highest upgrade possible. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing. They understood all of my questions. One technician installed the water heater and 2 other came to carry it in.

Great service, timely, professional. The crew was thorough and did a great job, especially with taking the time to explain the annual maintenance required for the unit. I'm relatively new to Houston, and this will now be my goto plumbing company.

Plumbers arrived during the shceduled time frame, were upfront prior to installation on extra cost for upstairs instalation and any extra fittings/part needed (as detailed in the ad). Water heater was drained, and new was installed pretty quickly. Overall I think they did a good job, and I would call them again for future plumbing needs.
