They do not guarantee their work. They say they do but when it comes down to it they don’t. I had them fix a leak exactly 5 weeks ago and the fitting that they put in busted two days ago. They claimed That that would not happen. I was told that they guarantee their work when I called in the morning but when it was time to come out and fix it they changed their mind so we were left with no water with six people and 10 animals. They said they could come out but I’d have to pay full price I didn’t want to use someone that doesn’t do quality work so thank goodness another company was able to come out that evening. We were told the fitting they used was to small for that job. The other company could not believe that they did not honor their work and fix that for us.

Had a leak in the water line that delivers water into my house. They replaced 85' of copper line with Pex, in a larger diameter than the copper line, and connected to the city line. The trench had to be dug by hand, as my gas line is on top of the water line. They did a great job, installed an outside whole-house cutoff valve, and the price was reasonable for the amount of work. Jose, who dug the trench, skimmed off the grass very carefully, and knew exactly where each piece of grass went, when he later filled in the hole. When he filled in the trench, he tamped down the dirt, then replaced the grass, so when he finished, it was difficult to tell that anything had been done. The plumber, Nate, and his helper (whose name I do not recall), know their business. I am very happy with the work.

They were able to fix it during the service estimate call, saving me another visit.

It went great. I couldn't do this myself. Juan was professional and all of the items are working. Very content.

Arrived two minutes into window, finished job in 15 minutes. Great job, Jimmy.

Plumber showed up, late. Could not clear drain. Re-schedule 4 days later, showed up, late and unprepared. Asked for estimate, still not done. Asked for camera inspection, still not done. Drain still not cleared.

He did a wonderful job. He did a very very good job. Work was great, the timing, everything was perfect.

On September 27th we requested a service call from Able plumbing, a company we have used for the past 10 years. The call was to determine why we did not have hot water in the downstairs portion of our home. The service man, whom we have been told is named Nate arrived and rapidly concluded that we needed a new hot water heater at a cost of $1400.00 + which gave us pause. The next day we had our handy man give us his opinion, he quickly discovered a burned-out wire, he tested this and determined there was no power to the hot water heater. We had a licensed electrician replace the wire and have had no further problems with the hot water heater. We telephoned Able plumbing to advise them of the problem and to request a refund of the $120.00 we had paid for nothing. Nate claimed that he unplugged the hot water heater which was a lie as there is no plug to the unit. Fortunately, we are out only $120.00, but this attempted scam is alarming and after 10 years we are no longer clients of Able plumbing.

After Hurricane Harvey, the cabinets and countertops had to be replaced, which meant all our kitchen plumbing needed to be replaced, and the dishwasher reinstalled. Jimmy was the plumber who helped us. He was punctual and professional. He did a fantastic job and came in under the estimate, and I want to add, the estimate was much lower than another area competitor who also bid on the work. The past seven or eight months have been very difficult. Recovering from hurricane damage has not been easy. Unfortunately, one of the problems we've encountered is difficult contractors. It was a breath of fresh air working with Able. They dealt with the problem quickly and had our kitchen up and running. Understand that we have not been able to use out kitchen for the last two months due to the hurricane repair work. I will work again with Able in a heartbeat, and I'm glad they are here in the area.

Their work is both professional and courteous.

One call was for a new water heater and a gas line. They left before completing the gas line. Had to call them back to complete it. Found no gas when the cookstop was installed. They came back a third time. The valve wasn't tighted so the handle would work and the line hadn't been purged or tested. I then discovered the plumber had not extended the flue on the gas hot water heater. He just added a section made entirely of tape. I called them back to fix that. When I brought all of this to the owner's attention. He was the one that got a good plumber out to troubleshoot and get the gas going properly. Based on the owner's responsiveness, I decided to give them another try on a water leak in my yard. They put me on for the next day after I called from 12-2. A plumber called at 230 that he was at my house. He said it might be a big job so he'd come back at 830 the next morning. No show so I called the office and the plumber called and he said he'd be there at 1200. No show. I called the office at 130 and they sent him. He got to the house at 230. Lots of excuses about incorrect scheduling and how a "digger" is supposed to do the digging and not him. He dug out the area (complaining quite a bit), found the leak, went back to the shop to get parts, and repairs the broken connection. At 530 he asks if I want the hole filled in because it's now overtime. I told that's not my problem, my appt was at 830 that morning. He said that they'd come back monday and was giving tme the bill. I told them I would pay it when the job was complete. After a call to the office, which didn't forward properly, another plumber called who got the office manager who got the owner. More excuses about Jay the plumber being new and not knowing the after hours policy and a new girl in the office not forwarding the phones right they filled in the hole and I paid the bill. The work appeared done properly before he filled up the hole, but I'm no plumber. There are too many plumbers around to deal with a company that does these sorts of things.

I had a leak over the holidays, a service tech who was on shift got the leak in the guest bath to stop. I told him that I was going to call them back to replace the faucets, so he said that he would just cap off the cold to that bathroom. I approved, since it was the guest BR, but did not realize at the time that the leak was still there. So I made the appointment on a day off to replace a couple of faucets. Jimmy came out he was great, very knowledgable, suggested a better faucet than what I had, installed the faucets. Not knowing about the leak, because I thought it was fixed. Soon after he left I heard the drip drip of the same leak from before. Called the company back, the service manager returned my call shortly and explained that they were sending someone soon. Rhys came out and with the help of Jimmy fixed my leak. This is what I liked about this company. Things don't always go perfectly, it took two trips to get my problem fixed, however the company did everything they could possibly do to get my problems fixed in the shortest time possible. Also you cannot always have the most experienced service tech, Rhys phoned Jimmy to compare notes and came up with a plan and executed it beautifully. When Rhys explained to me that the leak had not been addressed I was willing to pay for the additional time that was spent. The company gave me a break on some of the labor. As customers we have to be tolerant of learning curves of the younger plumbers, electricians, all service technicians. The service industry has not been a "go to" job in awhile, so we are losing knowledge every day as the older generation retires. It was not anyones fault that it took two service calls to fix, but the company, Jimmy, and Rhys, did all they could do to help the situation.

Our 23-year-old water heater finally gave up the ghost, and when I called at 10:00 pm, a real person actually answered. The owner called back first thing the next morning and had a crew here within the hour. Two hours later they had cleaned up and left. Very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I called Able Plumbing around 4pm on a Saturday and after finishing the job he was already heading to, Joseph came over and cut my existing supply pipes to remove the old shutoff valves/compression fittings and then soldered the new cutoff valves onto small lengths of copper pipe, and then used a coupler to solder the supply lines to the small lengths of pipe with the shutoff valves on them. We turned on the water and there were no leaks. From start to finish it only took him about half an hour to get me up and running. My wife and I were happy to have the water turned on again!

Rhys was on time and replaced the outdoor hose bib in about 30 minutes. He even added a new sweat nipple and copper male connector at no charge. Job well done!

Great! They also cleaned out a clogged drain at no extra charge!

He showed me how to keep the HVAC drain open.

He stayed for less than 15 minutes, said there was a broken pipe underneath the house and I would need to contact someone else. Now my slow draining sink does not drain AT ALL and I was left with a sink full of black sludge that is still there today (picture attached, it's now been like that for a week). So now I have a NO working sink in my bathroom, all for the low low price of $140.00. I've never felt so ripped off in my life.

Great! Very careful to explain possible issues that would mean additional costs due to the age of the home that is beyond the plumbing company's control. Hauled off and cleaned up after which is a huge help and relief! Still gave A rating for punctuality even though outside the time slot of appointment time because company called a couple times to update due to increase jobs/high traffic from post Harvey. The toilet base was different than the old toilets being replaced but plumber did the best he could so that the floor didn't look so bad. Thank you for doing that!

spectacular! He was early (called first to make sure OK) the shower was an add on and he took it in stride and fixed with no problems

Came out quickly. Fixed the flange and offered to seat the new toilet at no additional charge!

They did a good job. I don't have any complaints. I thought it was a little more expensive than it should have been. I was pleased with the work he did.

It went great! They came the same day as I bought the deal and did a good job and left everything cleaned up.

Called them at 8 am and the work was done properly and professionally before noon.
