On time, very professional, and the repair was completed in short order. As an added bonus, the cost was less than I expected. He was also very helpful in answering questions I had regarding a future replacement of my water heater. I highly recommend this company.

Called early this morning around 8:30am and it's 12:30pm and they just left. Technician very friendly and knowledgeable - brought in an auger and paper items finally broke loose. He even told me I could get one at the Home Depot which is what I'll do next time I can't get it with a plunger. Unfortunately I had to pay "weekend" price for this simple fix.

Jimmy arrived on time and installed the disposal in no time at all. Very professional.,we were pleased with the service.

This was my first (and last) purchase of an Angie's List Deal. I called and got prices from three places, all around $1000 for a new hot water heater. The deal on Angie's List was for $825, which seemed like a savings. However, after all of the additional charges were added, the total amount was magically the same ($1058) as if I had gone directly to the plumber. The additional charge was for an attic installation. There would have been more charges for new flex lines had I not changed those out recently. The actual installation was average. The guys showed up on time to drain the old unit, but I had already done that so they left to go and get the new hot water heater. When they installed it, it caused my roof vent to go out of place, but returning the roof vent to normal wasn't included in the price. I ended up paying a roof guy to come out and fix it. The unit itself is average and works well. In the end I got a new, working hot water heater, but the price was only average, the installation process was average, and I had roof work I had to get done separately. It was for these reasons that I give this experience an overall rating of "fair".

They did a great job. They did two different jobs for me and both went smoothly. The people were really nice. I did not have any problems. I called them out last month for a problem. They figured out the problem and got it fixed right away. They give good quality service and charge professional rates.

These guys were fantastic!! I could not be happier with the professional job they did...with how informative and patient they were with all my questions. It's very nice to know there are actually honest and knowledgeable people out there to help when you need them. You will NEVER have to worry about being scammed, or taken for a ride or not having a job done right if you call these guys!! Kevin and Kerry were the guys who came out and replaced my water heater. And I just loved them. They were so nice and they did a great job!!! And I got a fantastic price. It was a special Angie's list deal for $825, and I only had to pay tax and a few extra parts once they were done. Which was unbelievable to me, because my old water heater was in a tight awkward place, and it was LONG overdue for being replaced. And there was even one point where they were afraid it would not fit, and one of the spigots (is that the right word?) would not "co-operate"...but they over came every challenge the job threw at them, and still was only a bit over the initial "coupon price", like I said, because of the tax and parts that were needing replaced because of the aforementioned challenges. True professionals! And really nice guys to boot! Simply put...if you need a job done...Call--these--guys!!

Very quick inspection and resolution. Showed up on time, very professional.

Called at 9am, told they were booked. Explained the emergency clog and was given an appt between 2-4pm. A gracious and generous receptionist and company. Plumber arrived at 230, unclogged the sink, advised my wife on the other plumbing concerns we had and left. Everything went well. No issues.

It worked out great. The guys came when they said they would. They were professional, and everything worked out fine.

Able initially came to our home in mid December when our tankless water heater quit producing hot water. Jimmy tested the electronics and consulted with the factory to diagnose our problem which turned out to be a fouled ignitor. He then pulled out the ignitor and burner assembly and thoroughly cleaned the components. Afterwards the heater worked fine until the ignitor failed again two days ago. Jimmy returned and again checked out our heater and after talking with the factory contact, they had a replacement ignitor module over-nighted to our house. He returned a third time to do the installation and so far everything is working just fine. I appreciated the time Jimmy took to explain what the issue was that had plagued our water heater. Throughout the entire ordeal, he maintained a very respectful and professional manner, which made working with him a pleasant experience.

Having been told by a different plumbing company that we needed a new water heater, I elected to purchase a water heater replacement deal from Able Plumbing and Remodeling for $825. When Able came to do the replacement, they found the source of the problem to be fixable, and that the entire unit did not need to be replaced. They charged about $150 for the repair, and advised me to come back to Angie's List for a refund of the $825. How awesome is that?!? Will certainly use in the future when the need arises!

Everything went great and as expected. This is the second time that we've purchased this Big Deal from this company, and the experience we had the second time around was just as excellent as the first time around. We were contacted promptly to schedule the service and the plumber called the morning of to confirm our time. He called as he was on the way over to our house and once he was here, he was able to get everything completed very quickly. The toilet looks great and works very well. We've got one more toilet in the house that needs to be replaced and we will definitely be going back to Able Plumbing and Remodeling.

They gave an estimate and came back. They came and did the job really well. They completed the job in about 2 hours although the first one they brought out didn't fit.

I thought their service was great. The only problem was that the person who came out to give the estimate, unfortunately wasn't told the time and actually did the service the wrong day. The day they were actually supposed to come out, he was ill. The sent some other people out. They went by his quote. I was very happy with the work but they used the same quote even though they did fewer items on the list and it took a lot less time. I was expecting to pay by the hour even though it took a lot less time than they originally planned on, they still kept the same quote. I had asked them to please go back and change it. He went down a very small amount. I think he should have gone down a lot more but I didn't really fight it. I ended up just paying what they said to do. That's why in the future I would rather go with the company that charges by the project so I know exactly what I'm getting. The actual job, I think they did a great job. They were very polite and really nice. They were informative. I'm actually happy with their work. I ended up doing some of it myself trying to make the rate go down a little bit. I had to do some other work myself but it didn't go down, that was the only problem that I had. I possibly would use them again.

We were happy, and they were reasonable.

We had another plumber (from our warranty company)come the first time we had a problem and he made a huge mess of things. This guy realized what the other guy did, and fixed it!!! We were very happy!!

Right on time. Courteous and knowledgeable. Worked hard. Cleaned up. Taught me how to turn my water off when traveling.

Mr. Nate Dorow called about 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know they were on their way. He arrived during the time frame I had originally been quoted. Both he and his assistant were quick, personable, professional and efficient. They went right to work and finished the tasks and estimates in a timely manner. I was under the impression that I needed more costly services and had originally called for an estimate re:sewer pipe replacement, but he determined the sewer was not clogged and therefore the work was not necessary. I was impressed with the honesty of his evaluation of the problem...or in this case, the lack of a problem.

I used the "buy it now" feature on AL and was contacted within the time stated on the ad. The plumber was very cordial and arrived on the agreed time. He checked the existing toilet and realized it was a different model so he had to leave to go to the other warehouse and get the correct model. He came back and installed the toilet in what seemed a short time. He was very conscientious about keeping the house clean. He did a great job and I would use them again.

When I called re leaking kitchen faucet, I was told that if it was a Delta faucet they would have parts on the truck, otherwise I would need a new faucet. The plumber, named Ray, immediately told me that the faucet was not a Delta brand. I showed him the purchase receipt for the faucet which clearly showed it was a Delta. He replaced the washer in this kitchen faucet. I provided a new faucet for the bathroom sink and he replaced it, but said that one part (a pipe going from sink drain hole) was inferior and charged me for a part he provided. I provided a new filter to the pipe behind my frig that takes water to the ice maker and asked him to install this. The plumber talked a lot and made at least 10 trips to his truck, all while charging me 120.00 per hour. The total cost was approximately 360.00. I was happy to get the plumbing issues handled but I felt that this plumber was always looking for some way to add on more charges. My first experience with Able Plumbing was a good one. Duane came out and installed a new commode. Duane was professional and worked hard. I was happy with his work. I am a retired secretary living on a small social security. I understand that they are in business to make money but I felt that I was slightly taken advantage of.

Manuel and his crew arrived at 8:45 in the morning on the 29th. of December and went to work right away. The only time they stopped was for a 40 minute lunch. This went on for 3 days. They answered any and all questions I had in easy to understand language. I am very pleased with job and was well pleased when they cleaned up everything. Able Plumbing gets an A+ rating from me.

Ron was wonderful! He checked our hot water heater that we repeatedly have to re-light and verified that everything was working properly, with the exception of a dirty filter screen. Very grateful to not need a new hot water heater or a replacement pilot assembly. Showed me how to clean the filter screen and check to be sure everything is ok with the flame. Very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. Gave us advice on how long the water heaters should last, suggested we consider water heater leak detection and auto shut-off valves since our heaters are in the 3rd floor attic. It's a lot to pay to have screens cleaned (service call minimum is $120), but we appreciate the honest assessment and the savings of not being charged to do work we don't need. Will absolutely call them again (already working on a list of other plumbing repairs we need!)
