The interaction has gone very well; so far it is good. They got back to me quickly and they were willing to work with my engineer. .From the first call until it was done it was 3 weeks. I am very happy. I know the price is good compared to other companies I got, I think I am very fortunate to have found them.

Brent Goodman (the owner) came to my home for the estimate. He was on time for the appointment and was friendly and professional. He even left his shoes at the door so as not to dirty the carpets after he had checked out the outside of the house. After measuring the foundation levels throughout the house he found that it was not cracked but tilted towards the rear corner of the house. He then talked about the process that they use for leveling homes using steel piers. He answered all of my questions. Two days later he emailed me an estimate showing I would need to have 16 piers installed around the back side and right side of the house. I went ahead and got estimates from two other companies for comparison purposes. One guy reminded me of a used car salesman. He told me I needed piers around the perimeter and inside the perimeter of the house. His estimate was around the same as what I was quoted by Superior. The third person that came out gave me the impression he didn't really want the work and then took a week to mail (postal) me the estimate and never followed up. His estimate was almost double that of Superior. After thinking about it I decided I liked the fact that Superior uses steel piers instead of concrete piles. Also, I saw that Superior offers a $500 discount to Angie's list members. I hadn't noticed it when I initially searched for foundation repair companies. I asked Brent if I could use that coupon and he said yes. He set me up for an appointment to have the work done in 3 weeks (he was available a week earlier but I had prior commitments). The day of the job Brent informed me that he was going to add a pier to one corner of the house for extra support and was not going to charge me for it. That was great!! The workers arrived at 8:30 on Monday 9/12/11 and got straight to work digging the holes where the piers were going to be placed. Once they got started I left for work. Brent called me during the day to let me know the progress of the job. The next day they arrived by 8:00am and finished up installing the piers and around 10:00am they were ready to lift the house. It didn't take long at all. Maybe 20 minutes at the most. I watched as the cracks closed up inside the house. After that it took about 2 hours for them to refill the holes and put everything back the way it was before the job started. They patched up the two holes in the cement porch at the back of the house very nicely. The brackets they placed on the house are not visible. You can't tell that my house has had foundation work done. I am very happy with how Brent and his people handled the whole process and would definitely recommend Superior Foundation Repair.

First of all SUPERIOR told me it would be a four day job. They finished it in TWO DAYS! I was thrilled. The morning they arrived I opened my door to see an army of men busily getting down to work. These guys know exactly what they're doing. There was no confusion, dawdling or goofing off - the crew is all business. (Not to say your life won't be disrupted - but I'll take two days of chaos versus the two weeks one of the other firms advised me it would take.) it was fascinating watching them drive the steel piers into the ground - 20 ft. in my case to bedrock. The entire house shook as they hammered each steel pier down - 24 total - completely surrounding the house. The results were almost immediate as they began to lift. No more cracks in the walls and ceiling, doors opened and closed freely, no bumps in the floor - amazing! Superior gives you a lifetime guarantee - transferable if you sell the house to the next tenant. They came in after all was said and done and showed me with their monitoring equipment what had been previously 2 to 3 inch off angle slopes was now virtually indistinguishable. Great job and totally satisfied. (Two caveats: Protect whatever yard plants and lawn you don't want trampled to death. Go ahead and fence off. This army of workers was efficient and hard-working - but they don't take great care to step around your petunias, etc. Just protect what needs protecting. Also, after 60 some odd years I found out the cast iron pipes under my house were leaking. A virtually guaranteed occurrence. Be prepared to shell out for plumbing repairs as well. SUPERIOR works with RAPID ROOTER plumbing and they did a splendid job of fixing me all up underneath - just be prepared. (Also, I found out my house insurance covered "tunneling and backfill" for the plumbing work so I got back $2500. Be sure and check your policy!)

We didn’t end up needing any work. But we appreciated them showing up on time and really doing a thorough inspection of our house. They explained everything to us if we did need work in the future. We were very impressed. They didn’t give any specific quote. They just gave a ballpark quote because it was pretty much determined that at that point we didn’t need any work. It was kind of hard for them to give a definite estimate. I just thought that they were very patient with us. They answered all of our questions; we had a lot of them. They spent time really taking measurements and looking inside and outside of the house. We were very pleased with the attention and detail that they gave to whole process.

IT WENT WELL FOR THE AMOUNT OF HOLES THEY HAD TO DIG AND FILL WITH THE PIERS. THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP AND LEFT EVERYTHING AS WAS.

Brent and his crew showed up as he said they would. All escavation and soil were well contained and very little mess was made while working. At the end of the first day they cleaned up really well. They also arranged for a pre and a post plumbing check as part of the service. On leveling day both the supervisor and the engineer were present to make sure all leveling was done to specification. The supervisor even made an adjustment to you French door strike plate to make sure all doors closed well. My cracks closed up and the the house is now in order to make my necessary interior repairs. They did a good job and I would recommend them

They did the work in three days. They were clean and neat and did not tear up my garden. I highly recommend them.

I called Superior Foundation & left a message on their business voice mail stating I needed to get an estimate on possible foundation problem. I live in the Converse area & like to use local businesses when available. I also called 2 other companies, as I wanted 3 estimates. It has been a week & I never received a call back from Superior Foundation. Other 2 companies called & have already done estimates. I am a small business owner myself, & if I choose not to return client calls in a timely manner or not at all, I would not be in business for long.

Superior foundation did a wonderful job fixing my foundation. We had a small crack the diagonal length of our garage, and suspected it went through the length of the house. When we noticed the door into the garage starting to stick and suspected the foundation was shifting more. We called superior foundation. The owner came to the house and gave an estimate in person. The owner was very honest, telling us that our foundation was still level, not even close to the point where it needed to be repaired. We decided to go ahead and get the piers placed any way, as a preventative measure, since we are planning to sell soon. We had a 1000.00 coupon from val pack that they honored. We got the registered engineer report and were told they would be happy to help the realtor appropriately word the pier placement as preventative and guaranteed for life and will transfer to the new owners.

Superior Foundation Repair did a fine job leveling my home. Brent Goodman, the president of the company, and Hudson Keel, manager, presented their approach to foundation repair and I preferred their method. They were on schedule and had an orderly, well laid out plan of attack on this problem. Since the weather was favorable, they worked overtime when needed to complete the project on Apr. 8th. The yard was cleaned up and neat when they were through. The inside was straightened up as good as possible after such a big job. This is the first time I have ever had to deal with a repair such as this one, but Superior made the ordeal as smooth as possible.! If I hear of neighbors or friends who need such services, I would be glad to suggest they get in touch with Brent or Hud. A friend recommended them to me and I am grateful for that!!

Work was completed on time and I liked the fact that the crew that came to my house was very much the same as the one I had seen at another house Brent had invited me to come and see to better understand the process. People were friendly and there was very little disturbance to the landscape and house in general during the pier process. We had, as expected, a few more cracks appear when the foundation was corrected, but the crew leader was very easy to work with and expained items to us as they occurred.
