He took the time to explain everything to us because we had never had a water softener before. He was very professional and made sure to clean up. He was also right on time.

Excellent experience. Lowe's door/windows department did great job processing the door order, and the door came in as scheduled. I arranged install through Lowe's, and Jim was scheduled for the install. He does outstanding work and I highly recommend you request him by name.

The Lowe's installation department was very prompt and communicative, but their hand-off to the local installation company was bumpy. The local installer did not leave messages as promised, and we had to call back Lowe's to communicate to the local installer. When the local install service did come out, the 1st installer was not very thorough. He did not use a level so had to drill an additional hole above our range to get the microwave re-leveled. He then promptly threw out the warranty and install paperwork into the trash, instead of leaving all paperwork with us. He also did not leave a damper unit that comes with the microwave purchase. When we tested out the microwave, we noticed the venting wasn't sufficient, so we requested a follow-up installer (different, experienced and conscientious) to come out to check the unit. We also requested the damper unit. The 2nd installer was very professional and checked out the unit to our satisfaction. He also delivered the damper.
