all repairs went as expected ,service was fast , price was right on est.

Friendly scheduler answered the phone around 8am. The plumbers were all out on jobs but she said they would get to it today and I got a call about 1.5hrs later. Kraig and Mike showed up to fix a kitchen faucet that had worked itself too tight and twisted on the base. They were professional and helpful getting the whole assembly back together. I had to order a replacement pull out hose as the twisting had frayed it. Responsive, well done, and friendly service. I will use them again and refer my neighbors as well. Thanks.

I was impressed by the telephone response when I called. They sent 2 gentlemen within 36 hours of my call. They were professional and worked around other workers I had out to the house. They did really attempt to work on the pipes for awhile trying the snake but were unable to fix the clog. They informed me that they would have to come out again and take down sheet rock to identify the problem. Fortunately, I didn't book the appointment and a friend of ours who was a master plumber for over 15 years came out and within 30 minutes identified a quick and inexpensive fix. It needed some balloon like instrument that creates back-pressure. It was definitely disappointing that they weren't able to identify this quick, simple fix.

We were removing the baseboards in our master closet when we pulled a nail out of the wall that had been improperly nailed into a Kitec brand pipe and sprung a leak. We tried working through our home warranty company to get it fixed and had been without water for almost three days. They totally failed us so we had to find a plumber ourselves. Finding a plumber that is familiar and has the tools for the Kitec brand of fittings is challenging since they aren't really used anymore. I consulted my trusty Angieslist and found a review for Bracken that mentioned Kitec . I gave them a call and talked to the friendly receptionist and explained my situation. She said that a service manager would get back to me within an hour. I received a call in under an hour from Alex and explained the situation. He quoted me between $200-400 over the phone. He arrived about 30 minutes later and was able to make the necessary repair in 25 minutes and charged me $141 for the work. Another plumber quoted me at $455. I was thrilled that they were able to respond quickly, charge a fair price, and be total professionals. If we had known about Alex and Bracken Plumbing, we wouldn't have wasted 2 days trying to deal with the home warranty company and not having running water. They will be the first plumbing company we call for any future problems.

We closed on our home on 12/20/2010. On 12/25/10, Christmas Day, the hot water valve for the washing machine "blew out" and flooded our 3500 sq feet home with 3 inches of water before neighbors noticed water pouring from the foundation. Bracken Plumbing was recommended to us by our realtor, and they responded immediately. At no additional charge, they inspected our entire home making several plumbing recommendations. We were so impressed with their professionalism we have used them on two additional occasions, and will continue to use Bracken for all of our plumbing needs.

i called the bracken plumbing set up a appointment. a lady answered very nice. took my appointment. the service guy arrived on time but told me he had drain the water heater. i wish he would have told me that before he got here. i paid for him to sit on the truck while the water heater drained. then he came back fixed it. did a excellent job cause the water heater is working fine. the only thing i wish he would have told me before hand to drain the water heater so i did not have to pay for the hour he sat in the truck. but other than that the company is really fast, and prompt.

Overall, it went very well. They were very punctual. They were very neat. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very polite and cordial. We had already agreed on a price before they came, so the price was okay. I am going to have them put a pump in to circulate water at the back of my house.

I called Monday morning but they didn't have any opening for Monday...no big deal so asked if they could come out on Tuesday after 2:30. They said that would be no problem and showed up about 4:30 after calling around 3:00 to tell us they were on the way. Chris took a look at our toilet that was slow to flush and told us that it was because of hard water deposits keeping it from flushing correctly. He suggested a couple of things (acid treatment or replacement) but we told him that we planned on replacing the toilets ourselves anyway, so asked him about a water softener. He was very honest on the pricing of the unit and gave what I thought was a fair estimate on the labor. We will probably call them back when we get the softener.

They wanted to repair the leak without making a hole in the wall so they ended up going through the stairs so that way there wouldn't be a lot of damage done. They showed up on time, and the actual cost was lower than what they quoted me, and they follow up afterward.

I had several referrals for which the plumber to use for this replacement. The old piping was there since the house was built in 1968 so almost 40 yrs and had previous patches. I had three estimates from different companies and as many suggestions as to the type to replacement piping. When Patrick Bracken came out, he was courteous and knowledgeable and explained each type, pricing, pros and cons of each. The other practical was PVC and would have cost $800, a savings of $125. I wanted to think about it and did some investigating of the product Kitec. There is a lot of information on the internet. I did go with the Kitec. After a short period I called Brackens and set up the work. It was scheduled within a reasonable period, rather quickly I would say. The workers with Patrick Bracken showed up on time and finished the install within the day. They even tried to save my sod which was appreciated. The inspector came the next day and all was completed.

These folks were absolutely super! They were very courteous and professional in the office on the phone. I called for service in the afternoon, and they were at my house the next morning. They replaced my water heater in about an hour and a half. The plumber, Alex, was very courteous and friendly and knew what he was doing. I've been looking for a good plumbing service for a while. I believe my search is over.
